We had been searching round for a decent Welsh slate house sign producer for ages. This company had the best user friendly web site. Deliver was not at light speed, but if you want quality, you'll have to wait a bit. It took about two weeks for delivery, but was well worth the wait. The sign arrived by courier and was extremely well packaged. We were extremely pleased regarding the quality and standard of workmanship, and the ease of fitting. We used Araldite standard to secure the fixings, which seems to have worked quite well. The sign really looks good outside the front door, and is just what we wanted.

Looked at lots of other websites for my house sign. This was the best for choice, price and flexibility of design.

I have just had a similar poor experience to the reviews below. Late delivery, no communication and no remorse. They simply do not understand the needs of customers. Avoid.

It would have been a five star review but we waited almost five weeks for the sign to arrive but when it did we are very pleased with the final result.Also you need to buy special adhesive to fit it.

The sign arrived safely, very well packaged and was easy to fix in place using the secret fixing method and the clear simple instructions. It is a more expensive way of mounting the slate as a tube of resin cement is required, plus unless you have one a mastic gun and if fixing to brick or stone an aerosol of compressed air to blow out the dust. The sign quality is excellent, very deep engraving/routing. I had good communication with Shaun before manufacture. I would certainly use the Company again and recommend them.

Lovely, classy product

Poor communication, slow and unhelpful with email response. The quality of slate piece used should of been a lot better for a house sign. My wife was told that slate is a natural product so will have marks on it.
It’s a shame as a good tradesman would of used a better piece and rejected the piece that was used for our house sign. Disappointed not to had more after service support. I definitely would not use them again. I’ve gone to another company to buy a replacement.

Looked at plenty of sites and liked the better choices available such as overall size of slate, you can change font size and definitely preferred the option for hidden fixings. Good value for money.

I only write reviews when I am very pleased or extremely upset with the service. In this case, I am delighted with the sign prepared and delivered by Welsh Slate Signs. Exactly right..!!

Beautiful house sign ordered as a Christmas gift. Delivery was quite slow but I assume these are made to order and the end product was well worth the wait. I always received an email response when I chased so cannot criticise communication. Would definitely recommend, just allow extra time for delivery.

Do not order anything with this company. I ordered a sign a month ago and despite taking payment straight away I have received no further correspondence. No emails confirming when product will be ready or sent despite me enquiring with them a number of times. I have been left with no choice but to follow it up with the local trading standards team. As I say above, do not order from this company, despite the website appearing legitimate, they are not to be trusted.

Ordered a simple house number on a piece of slate; received a top quality, well crafted product worth £55. Took 4 weeks from order to receiving it. Would have been 5 stars if I was kept informed of order processing/ despatch. 2 automated emails like that would have made me feel more secure that my order was in progress!

This is the second sign I have ordered and the quality and the service was exactly the same, excellent.
