Scammers, scammers, scammers.

Received multiple voicemail on my mobile, they left an automated message and telephone number, its a barred number, called website number and a guy answered, laughed at the assumption of Xinc being a scam company, he explained who they are, and what they do, and asked for a ref number.
I dont have a ref number, nor any idea why they are calling me, but I am not convinced they are anything but scammers!!
Be aware!! Avoid this company and go back to your billed company and communicate with them, 3rd party companies are just hired to annoy you!!
Stay clear of this company.

No idea who zinc is but they have been getting auto diverted to my junk voicemail for about 3 months now and only realised because my phone mailbox was full!! - it is NEVER full!! Countless msgs all saying sign in but no idea what i'm meant to be signing into! Leaving them on auto divert.

Wasted time deleting 103 voicemails from automated karen who said log into my portal, but I dont have a portal with them - or anyone!!

Boycott the banks and any company holding and are sharing our private GDPR protected details to fraudsters like these.

They are making us available to be scammed and bet any money if we happened to owe the bank money - how hard do they apply pressure and threats of fine and court etc to be paid back?!

Sickeningly sad. Used to stealing and getting away with it smh

Asked these guys to help my father (73 and infirm) get his old Vodafone contract cancelled when they chased for some unpaid bills (the phone had stopped working and he has no idea of his account details). They said they would help but as soon as they got the money, which was never an issue, they just closed the case and said i needed to contact vodafone directly.

VERY POOR SERVICE! BOOTLEG BUSINESS!

I was behind on my Vodafone contract so they passed the debt to zinc. Zinc sent me a settlement offer which I paid via their make a payment button on their website. I received no confirmation for my payment and it’s now 5 days later and Vodafone haven’t been informed of my debt being paid and are still saying the whole amount is owed. I have contacted zinc via every form of contact they have, they don’t answer the phone or phone back, they replied to one email asking for details I already provided and never replied again, I got through to live chat once who said they need to send the referral back which was 3 days ago now and nothing has changed, I’ve tried to contact them again through live chat seen as that worked but now no operator/agent is available even though their operating times are OPEN! It feels like I paid them and they have ran off with the money. All I need them to do is tell Vodafone the debt is paid but instead I have to constantly chase them and waste time explaining all this to Vodafone!

Horrible company

Horrible company, asked how much I could afford, told them £40 a month but will pay it weekly, which they were fine with, then started the calls, everyday wanting me to pay more, and wanting to know my income and my outgoings, told them they don't as it's my personal information, and I'm paying what I can afford. Then get a letter and email from them, saying I have overpaid, so must stop making payments and they will return what I have overpaid! Then November last year, get more letters and emails saying I still owe them money and they will take me to court.

Tried to log in to set up a payment plan. Kept telling me my password was wrong. Reset it 5 times but still kept saying my password was wrong. So tried to reset it all by registering again, but just told me that the account already exists. Chat doesn't work, and no one answers the phone.

Complete bunch of scammers (In Proces of reporting to FSO)

Complete bunch of scammers. Even when you try to pay online, security system is alerting you about fraudelent and unsecure website! How company like debt collection is able to still operate with some many issues! Paying by card you are risking your details being stolen and you can be scammed!

Support is not responsive at all! They flooding you with robocalls and even if you answer you are still waiting to be connected - Ages!

Sent official email to them requesting fixing their issues as a last attempt before reporting to Financial Ombudsman Service

More people will do the same, more likely they will shut down scammers!

Not good at all

I have repeatedly told them I am not the person they are looking for as they have the wrong number. Instead of taking me off the system, they hang up and keep calling back. I blocked them and they are still trying

Bunch of crooks

Bunch of crooks. I had a small debt of £21 from EE broadband that was a mistake on EE behalf they corrected this and recredited me and also gave me a further £30 for the inconvenience of their mistake. Zinc have been told the debt is clear yet they emailed me saying EE have agreed to accept £15 to close the account. EE have never told them this so they are trying to scam me out of £15. Reporting them to all the relevant authorities. My advice is if you truly don’t have a debt and they continue harassing you tell them in writing you will charge them £25 every time you have to respond to them. And Bill them if they keep harassing you

Took me all day to get through to them…

Took me all day to get through to them on the phone. On their email it states that it is an automated payment line, which is a lie.
I also tried making a payment online but it kept coming up with ‘oops, something went wrong!’
The reason they want to talk to you, is to ask where you’re getting the money from to make the payment, even though, I was paying the full amount!!
At the end of the call, I asked for the person’s name and she didn’t want to give it to me.
In my opinion, this company seems a bit shady.

Debt from student finance

I needed to settle a debt I had owed from my student finance. I had called Monday and received no help after speaking to 3 individuals. I had tried again today and spoke to Amy who was very clear, helpful and informative. She sounded trust worthy that I did my payment with her. All of that time with Amy was in 13 minutes. I feel very relieved that its sorted. I had a great experience the second time round, I wouldve given it a 5 star if my first experience were as helpful as it was with Amy.

Awful company that are acting irresponsibly

Communication from this company is awful. They call me almost every day and when I pick up I just get put on hold. I have waited for up to an hour before on these calls and I have yet to speak to anyone.

When I try to call them or use the instant messaging on their site, I just get an automated message saying they are too busy and get disconnected.

They clearly take on way more business than they can handle, which means it's impossible to discuss potentially mounting debts.

This kind of behaviour should be illegal.
