Over 15 years as a customer
Having been a customer of Wheelspin Models for over 15 years I can honestly say that they have never let me down on service, price or technical help, especially in my novice days of radio control model cars and since.
I can recommend Wheelspin Models to anyone who is thinking of taking up radio control Models as a hobby, they ate always willing to help.

Truly a five star service

Let down by Royal Mail but got there in the end.
EDIT: One of the managers personally called me to apologise for the way in which this was handled. Technically the CS staff were following company policies but those policies are now in review to prevent this level of customer service from happening again. Items have been resent on a tracked 24 service. Still not quite a 5 star experience but no longer deserve the original 1 star I gave.
Original: Placed an order 11 days ago and have still not received. I expected a small delay due to the bank holiday but this is ridiculous. Customer services did not answer the phone and eventually got a response on WhatsApp stating I have to wait 15 working days before they can do anything! Just wanted to get my son’s RC car fixed to enjoy during half term.
The item is blatantly lost! All I want is to resend but an absolute shambles of an experience.

I was charged for a next day delivery for an order that arrived 4 days later, the response I received from the company stated they do not guarantee next day delivery. Avoid this company.

Had my car for 2 weeks and I was the one who had to find out about what was happening with it.
I spent over a hour on hold on phone with no one answering.
Wouldn’t speak to me when my friend was there at front of queue very professional.
Asked for them to phone me and wouldn’t.
Had to come out of work and drive for an hour to pick my car up and said I wouldn’t use them again and the chap said “go for it’’.
Every time I was trying to speak he just spoke over the top of me.
They were great while I was speading loads of money with them.

There are of course 2 sides to every story.....
When we take in any car for repair, we always give a receipt and we make crystal clear that for obvious reasons, we won't release a vehicle back to a customer unless they bring in that receipt. It's fine to send someone else in to collect, but please just make sure they bring the receipt so we can securely and safely release the vehicle.
You sent a friend in to collect without the receipt and when we explained this to him he was more than understanding and agreed it was a sensible policy.
You arrived later that day and had a rather different attitude. Our staff have a right to work in a safe and non-threatening environment and the actions you took that day were anything but.
We generally provide a great service and have thousands of happy customers. It doesn't matter if you're spending thousands or just a pound - we are happy to help.
All we ask that our staff are treated with respect and we'll return the favour with top quality service all day long. If you're not capable of expressing your feelings in a calm manner, then I'm afraid our staff will not be able to assist you.
Should you wish to apologise, we're more than happy to have a reset and carry on as normal, but I'm afraid your attitude is not welcome in our store in it's current format.

Took the trip to wheelspin today
Took the trip to wheelspin today, collected my yokomo Rd2 and electric items. Well worth the 6 hour round trip, can honestly say felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. Andy and nick are top blokes and helped me so much. I’ve ordered online before and that is a first class service also. Wanted to visit the shop today as it is my birthday and didn’t disappoint.
