I booked this on Thursday for Saturday, got the confirmation, turned up Saturday morning and was told that its not booked in and it couldn't be done until a week later

THE PRICE QUOTED IS NOT WHAT YOU PAY!!!
I have used ClickMechanic before with sucess, but thought I'd try FixMyCar as they gave a good quote for a filter change, so I booked it and it was confirmed online. When the garage completed the work (would have been 10 mins but they didn't seem to know I was coming, and didn't have the filter in stock) They said the price was 350% higher than what FixMyCar quoted me! The site obviously doesn't work, and I should have been told about the cost before the work was done.
I have already sent an email to the team at fixmycar.com about this issue - they have not replied.

Went in for a full service and an MOT. Guys are really good and offered me the waiting room. They are quite busy but still makes time for a good chat. Good prices and helpful people. Makes you feel like coming back again and again. 5 star!

Don’t waste your money
Don’t waste your money. Absolute scam artists. Came out to a DPF fault, diagnosed an EGR fault. remapped my EGR valve and cleared my DPF for £400. I took it for a drive after and the light came straight back on. Called and was told to bring it to them (a 30 minute drive for me with a car in limp mode) because they had more heads in the garage to look into it properly. Drove it in and the same guy looked at it in the car park (something he could have easily come to me for, I saw no other heads!) and told me it was an oil pressure sensor and they don’t do them. 30 minute drive back. Taking it to another garage, they diagnosed it properly (within about 20 minutes!) and all it was is a split air hose. So a complete (and apparently obvious to the other garage) mis-dignosis, a job that didn’t need doing, and £400 of my money, and still I had to go get it looked at and fixed somewhere else. DONT LET THIS SCAMMER TAKE YOUR MONEY TOO. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Absolutely no way the 5 star reviews on this business are all real.

Nearly two weeks later and still waiting for 3 more quotes.
How is this a comparison site if you only get 1 price.

The whole experience was quick and…not as expensive
The whole experience was quick and surprisingly not as expensive as I thought. The whole job was done in less than one day plus the guys were knowledgeable and knew what they were talking about. When you consider my car had a none working clutch so H&R had it picked up and taken to their garage all in a day I cannot complain. Super company, super quick . Recommend very highly . 5 stars around.

Completely unconfirmed "booking" and incorrect price quoted
I used FixMy Car to get qoutes for an aircon regas on a 2022 Ford Puma.
Of the four garages offered, I chose the most convenient , which was also the cheapest, and selected from the offered dates which was Wednesday 8th July.
I got an email confirming my booking has been made, but please contact the garage to confirm booking arrangements.
Car: Puma Ford 2023 - CP72***
Service: Aircon Regas - £55
I thought this would be just the time on the day, but looking at the garages website, the price quoted was clearly for R134a, the older and cheaper standard, despite the age of the car meaning it clearly needs the newer standard gas.
I tried phoning the garage three times, got voicemail each time. Left my details. The appointment date has now passed with no contact from the garage.
A total waste of time.
