Arrived 5-10mins early, only to have to wait to be told nobody there for my appointment as the person I have the appointment with is on leave.
Said it shows that I could book online anytime from 8:00am- 6:00pm on 8th November instead. Was informed person who appointment would be with is fully booked on 8th November.
So appointment now booked for Tuesday 11th November

Ordered plaster beading online click and collect . Then went to collect got in the car park and has a email to say the order had been cancelled . They had over 50 in stock when i ordered 1 hour previously . I reckon they dont have the staff or the staff can be bothered to get up off their a££s

But in real, i have booked a home visit appointment but no one turned up to my home. Had a chat with a store member and he said he will send someone but nothing happened and hence an auto email was sent as i booked an store appointment. Thats a very poor service Wickes, disappointing !!!!!

We required a complete en-suite refurbishment. Wickes provided excellent addvice on design and products to purchase. Installation was contracted out to Arlo's Plumbing and Heating who were professional, prompt, accomplished, tidy, reliable, flexible and hard working. The whole job was completed on schedule with much less disruption than I had anticipated. Five star service based on all of the above.
So why only five stars. Here we go with the one star elements.
Every time you rang Customer Services there was a holding message saying you would have to speak to your named representative. However, I always got to a different person who nearly always had to refer me back to the design tam at the store.
Wickes own delivery service was excellent. Items were delivered on time with plenty of prior communication and itms delivered to th room where they would be needed. However, most of the iems were sub-contracted to delivery partners. They were late in delivering items and had to either be persuaded to bring the items into the house or refused to bring them in despite me pointing out they would be stolen if left outside. On one occasion I had to bring in extremely heavy tiles on my own despite my bad back.
After the job was complete, I had some tiles left over (I had ordered the amount advised). I was advised to contact Customer Services to get a refund which would have been about £90. Customer Services said I wasn't entitled to a refund becuase it was more than 30 days after I had bought them. I pointed out that it would have been impossible for me to know that I would not ned the tiles until the job was complete. Further, I had contacted them within 30 days of the actual delivery and the completion of the job. They also said that I would have to contact the store to have them returned. I lost the plt at this point and couldn't fathom out how to secure a refund.
During the installation it turned out that we needed a different shower door which was provided promptly. However, we were left with the old shower door (as well as the tiles described above). We arranged to have the items collected through the store who contracted out to Citysprin to collect them. Many reminders and two months later they arrived unannounced to collect the items (one man to collect som heavy items).
After nearly every encounter of Wickes, I received a message asking for feedback and a satisfaction rating. I ignored them all as I never give a review until the service has been completed. Once the items above had been collected, I was ready to give a review. All my email requstes had expired so I couldn't give feedback - hence reviewing here.
Lots to complain about above bit I don't want to detract from th exclent design and installation services mentioned at the start.

I arranged a meeting in store for bathroom and when I got there I was told that the people were gone even though I had email confirmation so I managed to arrange another appointment next day at my property and waited there for someone to show up and never did and I was told to arrange another appointment . Is this the only place selling bathroom that I have to religiously go the same place after being let down twice ?

I really wanted to love this experience but unfortunately I will have to rate it 1 star.
I visited the Chadwell Heath store to get a design plan for my kitchen. Its not that close to me but is my closest store so made an appointment. I’m currently on maternity leave so had to bring my 8 week old.
I arrived early but the designer was running late as he was still with another customer. I understood these things happen so I just waited and walked around the store. My appointment was scheduled for 1 hr, after 20-25 mins I was called to the desk.
The designer took my measurements and asked about the different appliances and features I wanted. We spoke for around 15 mins before he ended the appointment. He said he was an annual leave the rest of the week so would email me the design. I thought this was odd as when I had visited other places they made the design during the appointment.
Anyway a week on I’ve had no contact or email from the designer at all. Such a shame because I’ve heard good things about their kitchens, sadly their servuce doesn’t quite match.

Design Disaster The kitchen Wickes sold us was not bespoke. It’s riddled with flaws: from design to installation, paint on new units, a fridge that can’t open fully, cupboards too high to clear the boiler. Sloppy, unsafe works. Ongoing complaint, Wickes showing my empathy regarding the stress this has caused to my terminally ill mother. Been nothing but a nightmare since delivery on the 28th April. And don't trust their estimates for "Specialist Works", we were given an estimate of approx £2,200, which has reached over £6,000.

Flawless from start to finish. I wish I’d asked them to do my kitchen too.
Wickes installed my bathroom last year, and it was probably the best customer experience I’ve ever had. It was a big job that took nearly two weeks, but everything went like clockwork.
From the very first consultation, I was in safe hands. Leanne Causer was fantastic: knowledgeable, kind, and always available, even out of hours when I had a query. Every single person involved was superb. The builder Gheorghe Morar is highly skilled across the board, handling plumbing, tiling, and carpentry with total professionalism and care.
The Customer service HQ phoned me every single day to check I was happy and to offer support, without me having to chase them once. By the end, I was genuinely running out of ways to say how excellent everything was.
One small example sums it up. On the final day, I came home to find they had quietly shampooed and dried my hall carpet, completely unprompted. That kind of thoughtful detail speaks volumes.
The bathroom has now been in use for over a year with zero issues. It still looks amazing, and the whole project came in well under budget. I’ve since recommended Wickes to everyone I know, including two buy-to-let landlords, both of whom are now using them for multiple kitchen and bathroom refits after having great experiences at different branches.
I recommend Wickes in the strongest possible terms, to anyone who asks and often to people who don’t. I only wish I’d asked them to do my kitchen too. My experience with Wren was, sadly, a very different story.
