Wickes - Dudley Reviews 

Ordered a bathroom from Wickes on 9th September. I was assigned a fitter who said he could start on 3rd November. On 2nd November I received a call from the fitter saying he would have to push the start date to 10th On 9th November I received a call from the fitter saying he wouldn’t be able to start the until 13th November (tomorrow). I’ve just received a call from him saying because an item was missing from the delivery he had taken another job and it would now be December before he could start!

In addition to this, one of the deliveries was due on 10th November. It didn’t arrive and my partner has today had to take unpaid leave from work to wait in for the delivery. No communication was received to say it wouldn’t be delivered on 10th or to say it would be delivered today. I just received an email saying it would be delivered in 1-3 days. The order, once arrived, was dumped on the drive in the rain. My partner had to remove each item from the pallet himself and drag it into the garage. Many items were too heavy to lift.

Also when I checked my order, I noticed the design consultant had ordered an anthracite radiator and black valves. I raised this with the customer care team prior to the order being despatched and I was assured that it would be put right - I received an anthracite radiator with black valves 🙄. I’ve tried several times to contact my design consultant who never calls me back and I’m now awaiting a call from the installation manager. For a £12K spend this simply isn’t good enough and I’m very close to getting them to pick it all back up and cancel the order. Do better Wickes

Absolute rubbish! I booked Wickes for a bathroom quote, a lady named Petra Tapako was meant to visit me at 4.30 on the 21.10.25. I had 2 reminders to say she would be there at that time. Waited a good 40 minutes and no sign of her. Then i had an email saying sorry you cancelled ( which i hadn't). Was extremely upset as i'd cancelled all my usual plans for this. Tried calling customer service for an explanation to be passed around in circles. After getting no where with them i called the store for help to receive no help whatsoever from them too. All he said was it was probably a computer glitch (more like Petra Tapako wanted an early finish and cancelled). All he said was he'd look into it, just an excuse to fob me off so i asked for a call from the manager. Was promised a call and surprise, surprise heard nothing. Don't have a bathroom with this company! So glad i found out how bad they were before i booked them. Read other reviews of sloppy service with bathroom installations. Useless company

I can't remember the name of the lady that helped me but she said she had been working here for 23 years and I felt it really showed- I truly felt my needs were understood and met very courteously, cheerfully and fully. Excellent customer service!

Popped into store to see if anyone could help me out with a problem . Manager and another guy (sorry didnt grab your names)where very helpful and sorted things out for me..Thank you

I was waiting a while to collect my parcel and a lovely man from your store came to me straight away as he could see I had been waiting a while, was very polite and chatty he’s name was Ben pardoe he’s a credit to your company

Visited the Brierley Hill store this afternoon to purchase 2 bags of slab layer. I could only see the large trolleys outside which seemed a bit extreme for two small bags. As I walked into the store I asked a member of staff if they had any smaller ones. I told him what we needed, he said the black wheeled baskets would hold them. He said I’ll get them for you which he did, he took them and put them in the boot for my hubby whilst I paid. Michael the chap on the till and Christian who helped us get the bags and took them to the car for us are an absolute credit to your store. Thankyou… brilliant service and great staff.

Booked an appointment with a designer who suggested Sunday 27th July at 12 noon,I missed a call to say they can come earlier,I waited till half past 12. In the meantime I had called the store which went to answer machine,nobody turned up why make an Appointment which is acceptable then not turn up at slotted time

Had a kitchen designed and planned by Petra Tapako at Wickes Brierley Hill, her customer service start to finish has been amazing and we even went back for a second kitchen for my parents. No question was to much and anything we wanted she sorted and all well within our budget, fantastic customer service well Done to Petra and the team.

I purchased a kitchen from Wickes and have to say the initial stages were relatively a good experience, support guidance and advice was very much appreciated. Once I signed up and paid, this has slowly deteriorated. Had a voicemail the day before delivery to say some items were out of stock and would be delayed for 3 weeks. When I called the Customer Services team the lady I first spoke with said she would speak to the Dudley Branch to sort an alternative and call me back. I got no call back and when delivery of the kitchen was received and installation commenced, I chased again. The 2nd lady was incredibly unhelpful, it wasn’t her problem and it was up to me to chase the branch. I did, they promised someone would call me, they didn’t. I caused several times m, was promised calls back each team and eventually I resorted to trying Customer Services for a third time with absolutely no assistance other than they’d try the branch again. After chasing 4 times, the Manager finally called me with a potential solution that someone would call me back to sort. They didn’t, 2 days later with the kitchen installation almost complete I had no alternative but to personally visit to sort out. The lack of accountability was staggering, no one took responsibility and the central Customer Services Team was laughable. There will not be a repeat because I will not be returning to Wickes.

Came him to ask for some storage boxes for our community project and the team were so accommodating and lovely to deal with. The children at our school will be so grateful.

Very friendly staff at wickes Dudley especially Ben who was extremely helpful and very patient with me. He really took the time out to help me and offered me great advice which was appreciated.. (I'm not DIY savvy) he was such a lovely young man.. there was another lady too with blonde hair but ive forgotten her name, she was a star! Also the lady at the till.. I believe her name is Mel was very polite and helpful too. I'll definitely be returning soon!

Laura L was extremely helpful over the phone at the Brierley Hill branch and arranged some stock to be collected for me. Always have a great experience here

From start to finish we were looked after by Gindy very professional and courteous has a very good knowledge of kitchens ticked every box would recommend Wicks to anyone many thanks

This is an update (Bad Staff) Whilst they can not erase the past They can learn from it Received a phone call from their manager Gurdeep ( hope I've spelt it correctly, apologies if I haven't) A truly respectful gentleman ,he could not apologise enough for what happened and did his research and educated his staff and that's more than I expected from the last review More people and stores need to understand How hard it is for the older generation to ask for help We can be a stubborn generation Thank you for the phone call but Thank you more for doing your homework and educating your staff Dad says he will see you on his next visit 😀

Where do I start?? From walking into Wickes Brierley hill we knew this would be the place we would purchase our new kitchen. Having had 2 very disappointing experiences with 2 other kitchen companies we popped into Wickes after seeing a stunning Wickes kitchen our fitter had just completed..!
From the moment we met Petra, our kitchen designer, we knew we were in good hands. Within 3 days she had spoken to us in store, visited us at home to measure up and discuss our options and had put a plan together for us to view that literally ‘blew us away..!’
Delivery was prompt on the day of our choice. We had our own fitter who commented on several occasions how ‘stunning’ our kitchen was going to be based on the design!
Our kitchen is now completely finished and is truly spectacular. Quality of cabinets is excellent, quartz worktop is stunning & all the little extra ‘bits..’ have resulted in us getting the kitchen of our dreams..!! Thankyou to Wickes Brierley hill and a special thankyou to Petra ❤️
