Wickes - Stafford Reviews 

Went in to Stafford Wickes to replace some kitchen draw runners. Staff couldn't have been more helpful in sourcing the correct ones for a Wickes kitchen unit. First class service in the kitchen design section, going the extra mile to help.

We have ordered our kitchen through Deb at the Stafford Store she easy to get on with, friendly and very knowledgeable giving us lots of good advice to help make the right choices. So far we are extremely pleased with the service from wickes from Deb and the rest of the team helping with tile purchase too. Thank you all …. I will review delivery and kitchen itself when we have it with photos too

Only giving one star because zero stars is not an option. My 80 year old old mother ordered and paid in full for Wickes to supply and fit two ensuite bathrooms in April 2025. After one problem after another (first fitter refused to travel twenty miles to her house, wrong showers supplied, wrong deliveries, fit dates put back)to name a few they finally started in July. They were supposed to do one bathroom at a time, but instead ripped both out at the same time leaving her without a working shower. Then the fitter (who turned up late every day or not at all) realised parts were wrong/missing so could not start refit of either bathrooms. After weeks of more wrong deliveries, supply issues, hours on the telephone to customer services (who are a waste of time you get a different one every time) I ended up emailing the CEO. Finally after a few more weeks of intermittent progress the fitter said he was finished. Fitting and materials were of very poor quality so after many more phone calls and a visit from installation manager ( who agreed with everything I raised with him) the fitter returned. After more weeks of delays and 3 sets of toilets bathrooms were finished in December, eight months after paying Wickes in full and five months after they started the fit. The bathrooms were never finished to a completely good satisfactory standard and Wickes agreed a small amount of compensation. This is just a small description of the problems I’ve had with Wickes over the last eight months and I would like to point out this was a simple like for like bathroom replacement in a relatively new house so no major pipe work or re-plastering etc.
In short I would never recommend Wickes to anyone.

After 3 different meetings with Deb from the stafford store, we managed to put together our dream kitchen! Deb was very knowledgeable and gave her professional and personal opinion for our design. Very grateful for all her help and patience, highly recommend.

When Wickes reply with "I'm deeply sorry to hear about the issues you're having ... we'll look into it - Dylan" this means they won't contact you again.

For context, Wickes designed a bathroom, suggested a radiator, and fitted it. Two years later the radiator is rusting. After contacting the radiator manufacturer Wickes are refusing the uphold the radiator 10 year guaratee because the radiator manufacturer says it is fitted to close to a basin. This, I remind you, is a bathroom radiator, in the position that Wickes designed it.

Sigh. Off to the Ombudsman we go.

She was on time, listened to what i was looking for, made some great suggestions about what i could do and what the next steps would be. Really pleased.

I put in a donation request for their Community Programme and the team at Wickes were so helpful and fulfilling the request. They ensured I had everything I needed. A brilliant service, which I will definitely be using again!

We needed to replace most of our cupboards with pull out draws due to knee problems/age as it was difficult to get to see what was at the back of the bottom shelves.

A visit was arranged for a designer to come and measure up to give some ideas of what was possible.

The lady arrived on the agreed time slot and was very friendly and understanding of our needs. A further meeting was arranged for us to to visit the shop today to see the possible combinations on the screen and also include any alterations.

It was great to see the proposed layout so we now are considering the color scheme etc.

Once again our many thanks to Deb Mason Design Consultant who has been brilliant throughout and is certainly recommended.

I had an appointment with Deb from the Stafford store and she guided me through the whole process. I found the whole process easy and straightforward throughout.

Absolutely brilliant!

Called in to look at kitchens but was only 75% certain of what I wanted and when I wanted it. Discussed it all with Deb along with my concerns, budget and timescale, and she came out to do a no obligation quote and design. A week later, I was presented with the design which not only was a total transformation from what I had, but very reasonably priced and with minor effort, then within budget.

Install was a dream also. Every detail was explained to me by Mark prior to the install, and throughout. This included a time period when I was away on holiday, but he gave me daily updates via WhatsApp with pictures.

Between the two of them, the whole process was seamless from start to finish and I can't recommend them enough. In fact, I would go as far as asking for these people by name!

Deb Mason did our kitchen design, gave good advice, accommodated our changes and produced a great design. She also managed to bring forward our delivery date as we were doing a self fit and were ready to go. We also decided after to add an extra unit, this was ordered and delivered very promptly. Any issues we had were also dealt with quickly with no fuss whatsoever.
Would definitely recommend.

My fiancé and I popped into Wickes Stafford to browse for a new kitchen, and we couldn’t have made a better decision. Deb Mason was an absolute dream to work with - months later, we still pop into the store and say hello. The design process was spot on; we were thrilled with the design- every detail was brilliant and exactly what we wanted. Fitting by Mark was also so simple- and he really put a lot of effort and care into the minutiae.
Our finished kitchen has received so many compliments and we absolutely love it- a lot better than the dark grey, glossy, soulless box we had before!

The designer had good knowledge of the various kitchens and their materials.
Deb Mason quickly planned out the kitchen on the software in store and listened to our questions and thoughts.

Brilliant experience from site visit to coming up with final design. Sarah Astley could not have been more helpful suggesting new ideas and layout for my new kitchen. Maximising space and really thinking about how we will use the kitchen and what we will need as cooks 😊 . Really happy with the decisions and able to view in 3D gave us a real feel of what it will look like. Excited to get it installed and cook my fabulous Sunday roasts for the family . Well done team so friendly and accommodating .

Fantastic service from start to finish. We were pleasantly surprised by the choice of units, and working with Deb meant we could tailor the design to suit our needs - even including bespoke items we had sourced separately. Deb was also there for any queries we had once the order was placed. It was great to have that point of contact who understood our design.

For peace of mind we had our kitchen fitted via Wickes. Mark was absolutely fantastic, and paid attention to every detail. He was easy to talk to and explained everything as he went. We had work to do to repair the existing floor tiles and he helped ensure that and the kitchen fitting worked together. As much as we’re delighted to have the kitchen completed we’re also a little sad to see him go!

We’d definitely recommend the Wickes team from Stafford. We feel like we made the right choice.
