We recently purchased a house from William Davis Houlton and are very pleased with the quality they have maintained throughout. While there have been a few minor issues—common with new homes—they have been resolved promptly. A special mention goes to Bev, who has been incredibly friendly, responsive, and thorough in her explanations whenever we raised any concerns. She has made the process very comfortable. Overall, we give William Davis Houlton a five-star rating. We're happy homeowners!

Over all a very good builder. Very few faults or complaints excellent houses. Very pleasant helpful workforce.

Recently purchased a house from William Davis, Houlton. We had excellent support from Bev and June throughout the process and the delivery plan was met as promised. The build quality is excellent. I will definitely recommend William Davis to my friends.

This is my partner & I’s first home together, and we couldn’t be happier!

We looked at many new build developers but William Davis was the best in terms of quality & features, hands down. The ‘standard’ package and all it included e.g turf / tap outside etc - when you compare this to others, you realise it’s a rarity.

Bev & June supported our journey from the very start. We had endless questions & they helped and provided support in all ways possible. We reserved our plot and watched it get built over a 6 month period, and Bev provided picture updates & kept us posted on key milestones. We are very appreciative for the help we received!

Another shout out goes to Chris & Colm - from our 1st ‘meet the builder’ to now, they have been amazing with their support. With our minor snagging list, they actioned this quickly & always communicate with such a friendly & professional manner. They are a credit to the William Davis business!

We’ve now been in our house for 1 month and we love it. The standard of finish is amazing and made the moving in process so bliss.

I recently purchased a home at Lace Fields in Ruddington. My experience with Kelly has been absolutely lovely. It made the whole experience so easy for me. She was always on hand and really informative, spoke highly of William Davis and knows her stuff. In a weird way I was a bit disappointed when everything was complete, because that meant I wouldn’t need any further dealings with Kelly!

We moved into Princes Place Radcliffe On Trent on 22nd of August, just a few days ago, we first met Marie the William Davis sales negotiator late February early March this year, we could not of moved in without all the hard work Marie has done for us, negotiating between Estate Agents, Solicitors and Builders on site, Marie went above and beyond her duties to solve a fair few issues we ran into, a true outstanding asset to the company, just a few days ago our vehicle broke down not far from Princes Place, in a dangerous position, unbelievably Marie stopped as she was on her way to work picked me up with my frozen goods which were starting to defrost and took me home, leaving my husband to wait for a recovery truck, Marie could of carried on going and thought not my problem however its just one example of the kind of person Marie is, we are just one home out of the hundreds she has sold and we are aware she does this to all. Thank you Marie, just to say we are loving our new home so thank you on site builders to.

Atrocious. Failed to correctly handover land surrounding our home when they sold it years ago and so they remain responsible for it, but they refuse to undertake any maintenance of it. They are both rude and inconsistent when making contact with them about it. Would steer clear of purchasing property they have responsibility for, nor or in the past, or property close to anywhere they have built. Currently the issues will prevent us selling our home and they couldn’t care less.

When we were looking to move , at first we didn't entertain a new build . However, as our circumstances changed we visited William Davis Buttercup Fields development in Shepshed where we met Nicola Hewitt in the sales office. We were shown around 2 properties in our price range and have to say were blown away by the standard and quality of the building, externally and internally. In addition the kitchen and bathrooms were incredible and something we never thought we would get in a 3 bed house when downsizing from 5 beds. Included were Smeg appliances , floor coverings, hive heating, an alarm and a lawn to front and rear and more .
Our opinion was changed so we looked at other new developments in the area , they were not up to the standards in the William Davis homes.
Nicola was brilliant in guiding us through the process from first meeting and continuing after completion as well. She did not pressurise us and had extensive knowledge and clearly experience about the homes and the William Davis brand . And Nicola is also very easy to talk to. The foreman Tom also has to be mentioned as nothing is too much trouble and he clearly likes to get things done . Also, champagne in the fridge on move in day and huge bouquet of flowers a few days later. All round amazing experience .

I don’t really know where to start; other than saying a HUGE thank you to Site Manager Paul, Sales Consultant, June and Customer Services, Vicki!

We reserved our forever home at Hastings Green last August. June was fantastic, in answering all of our questions, going through plans and assisting us in choosing our options and upgrades. Since moving in, in March of this year, when onsite, June has checked in with us, to check we are settled in. Not only does this show excellent customer service, but the fantastic, friendly people WD employ.

Since reserving the home, Paul the site manager at Hastings Green has been excellent. Nothing was ever too much trouble. He accommodated multiple visits to our new home to show us the different stages of work, but also, to measure up for furniture, blinds and curtains. After moving in we had a very minor snag list. The standard and quality handed over to us on completion day was excellent. With the minor snags which needed rectifying, Paul ensured these were completed within the space of a couple of weeks of moving in. I believe this could’ve been done sooner; however, due to my maternity leave due to commence, he agreed to a time suitable and convenient for us. Thank you Paul!

Finally; Vicki at customer services has been so accommodating. Due to having a baby within a month of moving in, there were a few tweaks required - again I must be clear, nothing major! Vicki is quick with replying to emails and ensures any works are carried out within the week of contacting her. The work people who she has arranged to resolve minor issues have also been super friendly and helpful.

Thank you so much again! We are beyond happy in our forever home and what could’ve been a ridiculously stressful time being pregnant throughout, was made as easy and stress free as possible. We honestly can’t thank everyone enough.

If you are considering buying a William Davis home, go for it! You will never look back.

The house looks amazing, build quality is very high, and we have received first class support throughout the process from June Hall, site manager Paul and the HQ team. Very impressed with June's assistance and calm, professional handling of often complex issues, liaising with agents, lawyers and the builders, and steering us expertly towards our purchase. We couldn't be happier.

I have been well settled in my current abode, in Prince's Place since 30.6.2023. In order to prepare for home removal to UK, I have gone back to my home country last October 2023 hoping to be back in a month time. Unfortunately, my partner was, all of sudden, suffered from a stroke and was in critical condition. It is very fortune that she is recovering after having been hospitalised for more than 3 months in my home country. Accompanying her to go through the crisis, we have been exhausted in our everyday living in particular to seek for proper treatment and rehabilitation. As such, we only started making our house removal in March and returned to UK in April this year. When coming back, we found that the internal glass of a window had a crack across it. Over the period, we are still heavily engaged in the daily rehabilitation exercises and treatment. In-between time, I have twice sent email to Willism Davis for repair service but in vain as the customer service repeated told me that it was not in the snag list and direct me to get a quote from a window company. I am totally disappointed for such a well established company being so stuck to its rules than looking into the issue, that a crack was found after a period of five months there was no one in the house. Furthermore, I wish to raise that I was being entertained to have rectification work to my house in early period last year only when I submitted an inspection report from a third party professional company even though I have submitted the standardised template much earlier. Now, I have been so exhausted that I did not prepare the snag list for the initial six months for its follow-up, and so disappointed to get no help.

Simple, uncomplicated experience dealing with William Davis. Pleased with new house. Some minor snagging was quickly sorted out by friendly efficient tradesmen. Idea of information folder covering every aspect of the house, even new lawn care, is brilliant. Marie at Prince’s Place was so helpful with advice, liaison and communication making the whole process smooth and efficient.

This is the first time we have bought a new build home so a little unsure of what to expect regarding the quality and the whole process, however from the first time of meeting Stephanie, she gave us the reassurance straight away and confidence we were making the right decision. She was always available if we had any queries and chasing the completion of our new home with our solicitors.
Stephanie even came in on her day off on our completion date!

We have been in our home over 6 months now and if we had any issues, Customer Services ensured they were dealt with quickly and resolved.
