Great customer service throughout the house buying process. After sales customer care has been equally as good. My only slight criticism is that internally there is only 1 coat of paint on all walls, two would have been much better. Having said that I would still 100% recommend William Davis.

I wish I had known better before investing in a home from William Davis. If I could give them zero stars, I absolutely would. The nightmare that has been our experience with this company continues to worsen with every passing day.
ABC in Customer Service? Utterly Useless.
I have never encountered such a dismissive, incompetent person as ABC from their customer service department. It's almost as if she's been trained to ignore, deflect, and deny everything you bring up. Every time I've reached out for help with an issue, she responds in the same robotic manner, offering no real solutions. Instead, she just tells you that she "can't do anything" or that "it's within industry standards." Good luck getting a straight answer or, heaven forbid, any follow-up at all. She never calls back. I’ve literally had to call 50 times in a row, and it’s the same story every time. Her attitude is beyond frustrating, and it feels like she’s just trying to wear you down so you give up.

The "Repairs" Are a Joke
To make matters worse, the "repair" team they send out is just as bad. These workers come in, act like they’re doing you a huge favor, and then leave the job half-done, or worse, make things worse. It’s as if they’re working against you, not for you. They act like they’re paying out of their own pocket to fix the issues. I’ve had these so-called "professionals" do shoddy work, and then just give up after a couple of attempts. It’s a slap in the face. My shower’s still leaking, and my windows and doors are still poorly installed. You can tell that no one at William Davis cares enough to actually fix anything.

Endless Problems, No Solutions
We’ve been dealing with the same issues over and over: leaks, cold drafts, and faulty installations. Despite multiple visits, no one seems to have the skills or motivation to fix even the most basic of problems. It’s almost like they’re hoping we’ll just go away or that we'll stop asking for repairs. After five visits to fix the same issues, the repair team now claims they can’t do anything else. Meanwhile, we’re stuck living with subpar conditions. Our home was freezing all winter because the windows and doors weren’t properly sealed, and we were forced to keep the heating running 24/7 just to stay warm.

Skyrocketing Energy Bills
The worst part? Their "energy-efficient" homes are a joke. We spent over £2.5K on energy bills in just six months because the house is poorly insulated and not airtight at all. This is not what you expect when you buy a new home from a company that claims to build energy-efficient properties. Instead of saving money, we’ve been hemorrhaging cash on bills, all because William Davis Homes refuses to properly address the issues with their construction.

Unequal Treatment and Discrimination
What really stings is the blatant discrimination we’ve faced. William Davis Homes seems to cherry-pick which homeowners to help. Some people get fast responses and solutions, while others (like us) are left in the dust. It’s clear that they don’t treat all customers equally, and some problems just never get addressed. It’s a terrible feeling knowing that, despite your ongoing issues, no one is taking you seriously.

Bottom Line: Avoid William Davis Homes at All Costs
This entire experience has been one of frustration, wasted money, and broken promises. If you care about your hard-earned money and your peace of mind, stay away from William Davis Homes. Their customer service is a disaster, their repairs are pathetic, and the overall experience has been nothing short of disastrous. We’ve been dealing with the same issues for months, and it’s clear they don’t care one bit about fixing them. Do yourself a favor and invest in a home from a company that actually values its customers. Trust me, you’ll thank me later.

Oh, and here's the kicker: when the repair team calls ABC in customer service, she picks up immediately—every time. But when I as the customer try to reach her, she never answers my calls. Not once, not even once in the past year and a half. It’s almost like she’s got a special line for the workers and a whole different one for the actual homeowners, because it’s impossible to get through to her.

It’s absolutely shameless and a complete joke. This kind of behavior is beyond frustrating and insulting. It’s clear that customer concerns are just an afterthought for William Davis Homes. The fact that their customer service representative can pick up the phone immediately when it’s convenient for the repair team, but never when it’s a paying customer trying to resolve issues, speaks volumes about their priorities — and none of them are in favor of the customer.

Excellent service from the start, all staff were very helpful in helping me get my first home. Snagging issues fixed quickly too. Overall would recommend.

I wish to thank William Davis for our wonderful new house, we are absolutely delighted with our new home. The excellent service that Marie in the sales office has provided most efficiently during the process of purchasing our property from the beginning to completion is outstanding. We can not praise her highly enough. We were fully kept informed throughout & guided through all the details & enquiries that we had. Ross the Site Manager, Shaun the Assistant Site Manager & the staff workers on site have been most helpful, kind, respectful of our property and very hard working. The standard of the new housing development is exceptional & a lovely place to live.

We were provided with helpful information about the site, house and services all the way through our purchase of the property to moving in. In particular we had excellent support and attention from their representative, Jules, in the sales office. She was at all times very helpful and pleasant to deal with and went out of her way to get things done for us. We were also able to have regular contact with Paul the site manager on practical issues and we felt we could always contact him personally if we needed to know anything, as well as the routine briefings at the house.
Apart from delays on completion of the house, which were mostly out of the builders control, our experience was a good one and we are very pleased to be living in a lovely house which has been built and finished to a very high standard.
We would always recommend William Davis as a company and compliment Jules and Paul for their personal service.

Lime gardens is a well designed development. The style and overall positioning of the houses is well done. Our house, having been here for one week, looks well finished. Overall, the lead in to contract completion was accomplished with very few problems.I would recommend William Davis to any prospective new house purchaser.
Having an empathetic site salesperson,which we had, goes a long way to a successful result.

We reserved our property with Kelly at Lace Fields in February 24 and she worked really hard for us throughout a rocky sale on our own property. She kept our confidence high, was always in touch and always helpful. We have been in our house for three months now and absolutely love it. The development is really nice, very quiet and our neighbours are lovely. Would also like to mention Kai and Jim on the site team who have been really helpful. The builders are still working away and are all very friendly and respectful. Customer Services are really easy to deal with and respond quickly. Well done WD 👍

I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to June at the Honeysuckle Rise sales office for her continued efforts and dedication to ensure that our purchase was undertaken and concluded to a professional level.
June took over the administrational and several operational procedures mid way through the buying process so had a significant amount of information to catch up on. Despite a number of concerns and requests raised during the snagging period towards the end of the build, I cannot fault June’s dedication and commitment to go the extra mile to resolve these issues even when they were not within her direct control or responsibility.
Junes genuine understanding and consistent communication instilled me with great confidence that everything was being undertaken to ensure that the handover was on course and any subsequent concerns would be accommodated, which I fully appreciated as this was still unfamiliar territory and a significant learning curve for us personally.
I must also point out that on occasions in June’s absence the service provision was seamless as Lindsey in the customer services team made every effort to maintain a consistent service level, thank you.

We moved to Lace Fields on 29th July after looking at the site for around a year and changing our target house from a semi to a detached with a garage. We are so grateful to the lady in the sales office, Kelly Rudkin, who was brilliant with us from the moment we showed an interest. She was helpful, informative and very patient and we couldn’t have done it without her.
Unfortunately, Kelly was in hospital when we moved in so we didn’t get to share our joy with her.

The service from Wm.Davis since we moved in has been great. Like any new home, there were some small snags and these were dealt with quickly and efficiently and to our satisfaction.

We cannot praise Wm.Davis enough and we are so happy with our new home on this great development.

The whole experience has been brilliant. From the ladies in the sales office (Pamela and Amanda), Paul and Dan (Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager). Nothing has been too much trouble. They are approachable and friendly. The quality of the build is of a high standard compared to others. We can't recommend them enough.

Beware. this company is building standard garage doors that are too narrow to allow access to many cars. Therefore, if you expect to park your car in the garage during winter or need access to charge a hybrid or electric car do not buy their houses.
When I moved in and discovered the problem they claimed no-one has ever pointed this out to them before which I find hard to believe. however, now I have pointed it out they have basically said hard luck and they will continue to build with doors too small anyway !

I have recently moved into a house on the Prince’s place development and am so impressed with William Davis. I have had three new builds before and William Davis are by far the most well built and the quality of the interior is amazing - we absolutely love our new home.
I would also like to mention how wonderful the staff are, always so happy to help and go above and beyond.
Marie has been absolutely tremendous from start to finish, nothing is too much trouble, she has repeatedly gone out of her way to help make the process as seamless as possible, keeps in regular contact with updates and so attentive and caring.
Cannot recommend Marie or William Davis enough!!

William Davis delivered what they said - Bev was fab and organised snagging and the whole process was straight forward - when buying houses often isnt.

Just be very careful with this company.

Reality is a millions miles from such promises. Build quality and external landscaping has been an ongoing joke.

I recently bought a property on William Davis Lime Gardens Development and I have to say I am extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship and style of my new home. As with any new house there has been a few teething problems but these have been dealt with quickly, professionally and efficiently by the site manager and his team and I thank you for this. The sales consultant Jules although not with me through the whole process of my purchase I cannot praise her highly enough on her politeness, professionalism and support. I also want to thank the whole of the William Davis family for the unwavering support in a very long and drawn out journey getting me into the home of my dreams. Thank you all !
