I recently experienced a water leak in my new property, which appeared to be an issue present since the house was built. During this emergency, the Customer Service team provided exceptional support.

Tracey was my main point of contact, and her prompt communication and efficiency enabled me to secure an appointment for the very next day. Her professionalism and responsiveness were greatly appreciated.

Ricky, the engineer who attended the property, delivered outstanding service. He went above and beyond to resolve the issue and was extremely courteous throughout the visit.

Overall, I am highly impressed with the level of service provided and would not hesitate to recommend the team.

Great job done on my door on Sunday. Tricky was professional, efficient, and did a neat, solid job while working for Tracey. Very pleased with the outcome and would recommend.

3 weeks after moving in the stair rail started coming away from the wall, the cooker didn't work the first day and William Davis refused to replace and had to wait for smeg to fix 3 weeks later, then the dishwasher front door fell off broke my toe the first day, after the Solar inverter blew up in the loft 2nd day, then all the extractors failed first day and took a weeks to replace, after the Garage flooded destroying lots of our stuff as never told they are not meant for storage as badly built and don't comply to nhbc standards and didn't have the warning plaque inside.Then after a month the stairs came away from the wall top to bottom, several Windows damaged so replaced, moved in with not just us but loads of mice in the roof William Davis refused to do anything about saying they had never known of such a thing even though saints had pics before they put the flooring down of mice and vermin foot prints in the concrete. Then the bathroom floor decided to move and raise so had to be taken up stripped back and new flooring, then the upstairs toilet leaked ruining the flooring which had to be replaced and then the shower tray fell leaving a gap all around and it's just done it again. Then the main bedroom floor started creaking so all carpet up everything out to find a 5 foot by 2 foot loose section not screwed down after plumbing installed. A 4 inch hole started to appear in the kitchen wall above a work surface, turned out it was cut out by mistake and instead of putting plasterboard in and plaster it was filled with screwed up waste paper and filler. In every room walls and ceilings the plasterboard doesn't match when meeting and you can see every joint, the stairs has been done but waiting for the whole house to be sorted. second week in January all the windows inside are being remastic sealed as all gone yellow and come away from either the walls of upvc. The list continues but your bored now. Now a year later we are still fighting to get things fixed and this is the WORST home we have ever bought.
So a stock reply from William Davies which is another lie which they seem to have mastered. For your information William Davies are refusing to continue repairing our new home and insisting I take them to the NHBC for them to help😂 At this moment in time we have another ceiling split and cracks running 8 feet along walls and ceilings, extractor fans burning out when the wind blows and are wired so when you try and stop a fire the lights go out as all wired together... SHAMEFUL...And what's the reply from them. It's fine it's how it's meant to be, and guess what... they have not even been bothered to come and inspect the problems. If I had the money I would take them to court and shame every last one of them including the liars at Customer Services, which name is a joke as NO Customer Service from this shambolic company.

Excellent Service from the Customer Service team. I had an emergency issue and Tracey was an exactly point of contact from their team, with very fast responses, which helped me arrange an appointment the next day! Ricky, the guy that came to help out was fantastic, he went above and beyond for the issue, and was a really nice guy. Would highly recommend.

If I had known in April 2025 what I know now, I would never have even contemplated placing a deposit on a William David Homes house.
Nothing but problems since we moved in since October 2025.
No handover.
Keys missing.
Instructions for appliances not provided.
No paperwork or records provided for appliance services.
Windows not fitting right.
Draughts blowing through at a gales rate - not sure how the figures were invented on the so called tests carried out.
Doors badly fitted.
Appliances not working - dishwasher defunct already.
Built in appliances with warped doors.
Bath panels hanging off.
Nothing done to a high standard.
Draughts under kitchen cupboards - noted to have gaps/missing cement.
Mortar missing around windows.
Seals missing from front door - more wind whistling through.
We’ve had to purchase items and have repairs done at cost to us to make the place comfortable to live in.
You might get Smeg appliances, but they’re the basic range.
Cheap textured worktops in the kitchen - difficult to keep completely clean.
Washer fittings had to be changed on moving day to enable washing machine to fit due to incorrect plumbing.
I could not recommend William Davis Homes to anyone.
Estate is about 4 years old, people that have been here since the first phase are still having problems.
Once William Davis have your money, they don’t want to know.

The let’s talk about the quality of the home, I did quite some inspection with different builders, but William Davis came across to me as the best of all the developments I checked. Yvette has been excellent in providing all the information we could need in a friendly and professional manner, making it very easy to understand what we are doing as first time buyers. The house itself is fantastic and we are so excited for this adventure

We were extremely disappointed with our experience with this company. At first, we thought we had found the perfect home for our family and decided to proceed — we paid the reservation fee,and began the Pex of our current property.

After the valuation of our home, they offered £20,000 less than the market value, but because we really liked the new house, we reluctantly agreed to continue. However, after the survey, they reduced their offer again by another £10,000, citing very minor issues such as painting under gutter, window ms age, and lack of air vents in the conservatory.

It quickly became clear that they realised how much we wanted the property and took advantage of that. Their behaviour felt unprofessional and purely profit-driven. When we refused to reduce our price further, they sold the house to someone else the very next day — showing how little honesty and commitment there really was.

We are now out of pocket by nearly £5,000 in solicitor fees, mortgage arrangements, and survey costs, and have lost valuable time and opportunities because of their actions.

For a business that calls itself “family-run,” they showed no understanding of integrity or fairness. We would strongly advise others to be cautious and make sure they are dealing with genuine, professional people before committing financially.

We've recently purchased a property at Lime Gardens and cannot fault the service that we've had from William Davis. The build quality is excellent and any snag we have had, they have followed up with promptly and resolved. Steph, who guided us through the sales process, is an absolute credit to the organisation - she was brilliant; so organised and kept us informed throughout.

We absolutely love our new property. It is cleverly designed for modern living and we are enjoying our lives in the beautiful surroundings of Wellington Place. The wonderful ladies in the show home office have been superb throughout. Tracey was amazing, especially during the time my Mum passed away. She knew exactly how to help me move forward and I'm so glad that Mum was able to visit the previous showhome opposite the park, before her fall. Also, a shout out to Mark and his team. Mark has a "can do" attitude and, as one of the joiners (Wayne) we met said: "Mark is not happy until he knows YOU are!" The support we've had during the moving process has been second to none. We were anxious about moving but it's been made easier by these amazing people: Tracey, Sue, Mark, Wayne, Braydon (electrician), John (the drawer-fixer chap), the lovely football-coach decorator (I'm so sorry, I've forgotten your name) and generally the happy crew we see daily, working for William Davis.

I can’t really find the words to fully truly describe the high level of customer service, patience and kindness that I have experienced from Yvette at William Davis, Houlton, Rugby. As a young female, you could probably get looked at with negative judgements, buying a house alone, but not here. Yvette and Bev both welcomed me with open arms, and have constantly never failed to look after me. Since enquiring a few months ago, they are there within seconds if I need them. Yvette has been very patient whilst working with me going through plots, plans and colours. My dad has come with me to most appointments too, and Yvette has truly welcomed us both. If Yvette is off, Bev has been incredibly helpful also, making me feel like nothing is too much to ask. I can’t thank you enough both of you; for making my dreams come true with buying my first home. I can’t wait to move in when it is built and I certainly wouldn’t be here without your help and resilience. Thank you both and I can’t recommend you both enough.

As first time buyers, we cannot recommend William Davis enough. We were having a really bad time with a property we had gone in on before, and after deciding to pull out, we decided on purchasing a WD property.

William Davis completely restored our faith in how we imagined this experience should be. Instead of dread, we started to feel excitement and the William Davis team did as much as they possibly could to make this a quick, easy, well communicated process. Obviously house moves are a stressful time for most, but whatever WD could do to relieve us from these stresses, they did as much as they could. Our Sales representative was Mandy Johal, and I could confidently say all of what is wrote above is attributed to how she handled this for us. Mandy is a true credit to William Davis, and if you are lucky enough to have Mandy on your purchase, rest assured you are in good hands. Josh the site manager was also extremely helpful and answered any questions I posed and explained the build / functional elements of the house perfectly. We truly cannot recommend William Davis enough. Especially as first time buyers.

William Davis homes, via their construction and sales teams at the Prince's Place development in Radcliffe-on-Trent, have been professional, responsive and have a delivered a high quality new home I am very pleased and proud to own. Despite owning several houses over the years, I have never bought on an estate before. The layout of the William Davis developments make them look more like new communities rather than housing estates, and the wide variety of attractively designed houses, also sets them apart from their rivals. I'm really pleased with my recent purchase.
