Stay away from Willmotts
I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Willmotts, and I must say it was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating.
From start to finish, my nteractions with this company left me questioning their competence and commitment to providing quality service.
First and foremost, communication was a major issue. Whenever I tried to contact them with inquiries or concerns, it was like talking to a brick wall. Calls and emails often went unanswered for days, and when I did manage to get through, the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. It felt like they couldn't care less about addressing residents' needs.

I had a great experience securing my apartment with Willmotts property experts. They were very professional with experienced and knowledgeable agents especially Mr Solomon Moodie who was my letting agent. He went above and beyond to help me through the letting process, at times it was stressful due to the documentation aspect but he was there to address it efficiently and I was kept informed of the progress. I had a fabulous experience and will highly recommend Willmotts.

We rented a flat from Willmott and Solomon was our agent. He was a very courteous, chatty fellow that made us feel at ease throughout the process. We would definitely recommend Willmott and particularly Solomon if you are looking for a flat in the Hammersmith area.
Avoid this company at all costs
If I could give zero stars, I would. Willmotts have been nothing short of a nightmare to deal with. Here's a summary of my abysmal experience:
Unreasonable service charges: They have consistently raised our service charges without any proper consultation or justification. The lack of transparency in their fee structure is astounding, and it feels like we're paying for services that are barely, if ever, provided. One example, despite including the electricity bill in our annual service charge, they have failed to make the actual payments. This negligent act led to a humiliating incident when bailiffs visited our building to fit a pre-paid meter. It was not only an inconvenience but also a blatant breach of trust.
Dreadful communication: Their communication is practically non-existent. Emails gather dust in their inboxes for weeks or months, and their responses, when they do come, are dismissive and unhelpful. It is a complete disregard for client communication and problem resolution.
Gross mismanagement of building works: The building works they oversaw were not only done poorly but were outrageously overpriced. We were charged several thousand pounds for works that were never completed. It's a shocking level of incompetence and financial recklessness.
Absurd attempts to shift blame: When confronted about the unfulfilled works, they attempted to shift the blame onto 'adverse weather conditions'. Their refusal to take responsibility for their errors only added insult to injury.
Appalling overall experience: Dealing with Willmotts has been nothing less than a nightmare. Their combination of incompetence, non-transparency, negligence, and apathy towards their clients' needs makes them a company to avoid at all costs.
In conclusion, I implore you to steer clear of Willmotts. There are undoubtedly better, more professional, and more ethical options out there that will offer you the respect and services you deserve. Don't let them exploit you as they did us.

I have been very impressed by the service from Willmotts, in particular, the level of professionalism, integrity and dedication from Shahid. It is a challenge to find trusted agents to work with and no doubt, I have been fortunate to come across Shahid. He is 'old school' in his approach, in that, he is committed to building long-term relationships. This is imperative for clients like myself seeking to execute multiple transactions. Of course, given his years of experience, he is also exceedingly knowledgeable about the subject matter. I have also interacted with others in his team, who also deliver to a high standard of service. A case in point is Emily, who has preserved with dedication to deliver value. I am NOT easy to please! I would not hesitate in recommending their services. Thank you Willmotts for the excellent work!
Verified user review: Willmotts isn't great
It is hard to believe that any verified and legitimate user would rate Willmotts anything more than a 1-star. This company is notorious for not bothering to respond to emails; they seek payment but do absolutely nothing for the properties. They also seem overworked, which leads to various costly mistakes. Unfortunately, they do not seem to update their records and are oblivious to basic rules and operational standards. Hope things improve as I don't know how they can continue to sustain this business otherwise.

I have used Willmotts for many many years to let my apartments out in Twickenham. I have always found them, very professional, knowledgeable and dynamic. The staff stay there a very long time also which really helps with continuity. They also manage the block i own and are always easy to contact. They don’t operate call centres which I find very refreshing as I get to speak to the property manager directly.

Willmotts appalling company
Willmotts have appalling customer service, they have been rude/threatening, but mostly they ignore emails +calls from their paying customers, including urgent matters, x2 examples: human excrement getting pushed back up pipes into kitchen due to blocked drains and major leak coming through ceiling from unoccupied flat leaving fire brigade the ones who had to enter the building. Peter Bernicchi is the current estate manager, but the general experience of this company over the years is extremely poor. High fees, zero service. Funny enough Willmotts don't appear to have a complaints procedure - thanks to Trustpilot who can share this publicly!!
