Hi Deshae - thanks for your feedback, and you're right - unfortunately, we don't currently offer (or advertise) full coverage in any of the states we serve – just liability policies at this time. We know this is a coverage that many of our members want, so we're working hard to bring this option to our members as soon as possible.

In the meantime, if you do require full coverage, we like to recommend insurify.com as a great website to shop and compare affordable rates. We've also partnered with Bristol West to offer full coverage quotes to Hugo members through a dedicated phone line. Feel free to call Bristol West at 1-800-643-2340 to get a full coverage quote.

I was freaking out because I need my…

I was freaking out because I need my car insurance for my work.And after getting pretty well screwed over by big name insurance company that I will respectfully , not name. It only took less than 20 minutes with Hugo.and I was ready to go

I don't like how we can only extend for…

I don't like how we can only extend for three days . It should be a longer extension period . I get paid weekly and when my insurance is due I don't have the money sometimes. !

Hi Shontavis - thanks for your feedback, and we realize this is disappointing that we're unable to extend coverage any more than 3 days too. We're truly sorry about that.

The good news is, you can repay only your owed balance while your coverage is active and be eligible to claim a new Coverage Extension right away.

We know money can get tight sometimes, and if your policy cancels, don't worry – you’ll still be able to start a new policy with us after repaying your balance, adding at least 1 day of coverage, and signing new policy paperwork. You’ll also qualify for a new coverage extension at that time! Hopefully, our small payments feature at Hugo can continue to help.

These Fees And Everyday Ya’ll Charging…

These Fees And Everyday Ya’ll Charging Extra If We Had The Money We Would Have BETTER insurance then Hugo .. Ya’ll don’t even have an App ? .. Ya’ll dont have no grace period yall just add insurance with extra fees now we go on the internet browser because you guys have no APP and see a bill yall charging us . For all that if we don’t pay just cut it off . I feel like I’m getting ripped off for my money ..

Hi Jerome - thanks for your candid feedback and so sorry for any frustration.

You're right - Unfortunately, we don't yet have a native app, but we're working on it!

If you use Safari as your web browser, you can click the settings icon at the bottom of your screen, then select the Add to Home Screen option. This will create an icon on your phone for easy account login. Unfortunately, this feature is not yet available for Chrome or Firefox browsers.

We also have no hidden fees here at Hugo. Any and all fees that you pay are 1) rolled into the daily rate you pay for insurance and 2) pro-rated across your policy so you can pay them down a little bit a time. All fees are easily viewed from inside your member account.

Looks like you've also been taking advantage of our Warning period, which we offer in your state. You can think of your Warning Period as a grace period, in which Hugo will keep your policy active for 10 days after your account has hit $0. This gives you extra time to repay your owed balance to exit Warning Period (grace period) at any time, while your policy remains active. There are never any extra fees added on to this Warning Period, which is great because we hate fees here at Hugo too!
