Hajer was an excellent, friendly & knowledgeable guide. I’m so happy to have spent a wonderful day with her. Great communication prior to the pick up, lovely comfortable car & a relaxed vibe. I got to... See more

We had the most amazing 6 hour tour with Piyaporn. Not only does she have extensive knowledge of the areas she takes you to, but has impressive knowledge of the history and political climate of the country that puts everything into context. She provided an amazing driver and vehicle and we felt spoiled all day. She also has a heart of gold and makes sure the furry friends at these sites are taken care of. I already know that when I come back I will book a different tour with Piyaporn and I would recommend her to anyone. Such a lovely person and informative tour. She's like family now :)
Thank you Patrick
To spend time with Patrick was a pleasure. His English was perfect and he understood a broad Scottish accent. We went at a gentle pace around the city and I never felt rushed. With a encyclopedic knowledge of Chile and Santiago he answered all my questions and advised me where to go for food, entertainment and culture. I wish I could have spent a much longer time in his company. Patrick thank you.

Emoke was helpful and charming from the moment we made our booking and met us with a smile on the day of our tour. Her knowledge of the history and architecture of the city was excellent. Emoke’s personal and family real life experience of Hungary’s period under Soviet control was fascinating. Some top tips for the rest of our trip and some nice local cafes visited made an overall fabulous tour for us all. Definitely recommend a tour with Emoke for anyone wanting to visit Budapest.
Fun and interesting tour!
We really enjoyed the tour. Interesting facts about the origins of Dubai and how it has developed over such a short time! Ikram is warm and entertaining and we would definitely highly recommend!!
Great tour of Budapest with Gabor
We started in Heroes’ Square where Gabor gave us a brief history of Hungary which set the scene for the tour. I liked the way Gabor wove this into the tour and the architecture of Budapest; for example, the rivalry between Vienna & Budapest.
Refuse to refund an unusable gift voucher
I bought an expensive gift voucher for my brother who has moved to Lisbon. It turned out that there were no experiences he could do as a single person which didn’t involve walking a lot, which he can’t do. Withlocals refused to refund the voucher, even though it would cost them nothing to do so. Very disappointing.

perfect start of a great weekend
Thanks Sandra for a great tour, it was the perfect start of a great weekend in Stockholm.
Review of Potsdam Tour with Pablo
Our day trip to Potsdam with Pablo was absolutely wonderful. We shared a list of things we wanted to do (including a leisurely lunch!), and he went above and beyond to make it all happen. We saw everything we hoped to see and enjoyed a fantastic meal at the most charming restaurant. Pablo was incredibly knowledgeable about both Berlin and Potsdam, and he filled our day with fascinating stories and history. His enthusiasm and depth of insight made the experience truly special. I wish there were a Pablo in every city I visit! Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a seamless, engaging, and memorable day in Potsdam.
Fantastic experience
We booked two tours in the same day with Romana ( a 2 hr and a 3 hr) back to back . We messaged her and explained that this was our third time to Dubrovnik and what we had done in the past . The two that we booked were the Hidden Gems and a Game of Thrones . Romana responded back ( quickly I might add ) with suggestions and offered to blend the two tours together so we could get the best experience with our time . We agreed and she obviously did her homework because it was very seamless, informative, and we saw many things that only locals know about while also keeping us engaged and the 5 hours flew by . We have used withlocals many times and in many cities and she was definitely one of the best guides we have had . We have also never had a bad experience with this service . I highly recommend picking Romana as your guide . Engaging, flexible ,informative, great energy , very knowledgeable and very much interested in what you want to do during your time with her .
Highly Recommended
We had an absolutely wonderful day with Tanivet. She and her driver/partner were such nice company, they were knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure we visited places that appealed to our particular tastes. We never felt rushed and she even suggested additional places that she thought would be of interest to us.
We highly recommend their services and will definitely use them again when we're lucky enough to return to Oaxaca !!!!!!!
Knowlegde and ethusiasm
Sara gave us some very interesting hours in Berlin. She started with some historical facts and events, and then she used this as the background for a very informative and interesting walk. She combined the details with the over all picture, also questions of ethics and moral, in a very good manner. We enjoyed this very much. As we, as visitors, were very interested and therefore many questions, the time set up for the walk was too short. You should have added one hour, not to feel we are in a hurry. This is why I give 9. Sara is worth 10!
Faruk was a fantastic guide and host!
Faruk was a fantastic guide and host, very knowledgeable, willing to share and go the extra miles (literally) to accommodate us.
We scheduled our tour for the night of our arrival thinking it would be a great introduction and that’s exactly what we got. Faruk met us near our hotel in the Old City on a rainy eve of Republic Day and we soaked all it in.
I only wish we weren’t as tired from our journey, would have loved to stop for tea, ice cream or a quick bite with Faruk. Next trip!

We had the best time exploring and learning about Nicosia with Christina. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the history and current dynamics of Cyprus and Nicosia and she translates this knowledge into interesting stories. We saw so much in a short period of time and we got to visit both sides of the divided city. I would highly recommend taking a tour with Christina. You won’t be disappointed!! She made the afternoon fun and we leaned a lot.
Wonderful tour with exceptional tour guide
Mabel is an exceptional guide! She is both friendly and very knowledgeable. What makes this tour with Mabel stand out is not only her knowledge of history but her insight as a long time (and proud) resident of Mexico. Very enjoyable and would seek out Mabel for other tours in and around Mexico when we get the chance!

We arrived in Sevilla on a gorgeous afternoon after an overnight flight from the U.S. Our City Tour with Samuel was really excellent. He provided a great overview of Sevilla’s rightful place in history as a ‘City of the world’. His enthusiasm for his hometown was infectious. We highly recommend Samuel to other people visiting this wonderful city!
A standout tour with a local guide
Francesca gave us a standout tour of the Forum and Palatine Hill. We were a group of two adults and our eight year old son, and our priority was to spark his interest in Roman history. Mission accomplished. She kept him fully engaged, answered every question with patience and depth, and even brought a thoughtful gift that he absolutely loved. We are now having daily conversations about Constantine, the division of the Empire, Roman engineering, sewers, and more. Francesca is knowledgeable, warm, and clearly passionate about the ruins. She shares her enthusiasm in a way that brings the past to life. A superb guide. Highly recommended.
Great Istanbul Food Tour with the best Guide ever Emre!
Our Istanbul Food tour was absolutely amazing. The food was great but the tour was made even better with our Guide Emre. Emre showed us places we would have never found on our own. We had fantastic cheeses at our first stop, Then we had Pide and Sütlaç which is Turkish Pizza (Pide) and Rice Pudding (Sütlaç). This stuff was so good that the name of the restaurant is Nizam Pide Sütlaç. It is actually named after the 2 dishes that it is famous for The name translates to Nizam Pizza Rice Pudding. Try it and you'll see why. I could have sat there the entire tour just trying all of their Pide's and Sütlaç's, they were spectacular. We then went to Turkey's oldest Turkish Delight store, Hacı Bekir who, in 1777, invented Turkish Delight (Known as Lokum) and who still has stores to this day, In Istanbul, not only serving every imaginable flavor of their own invention, Turkish Delight, but also a variety of the most amazing other Turkish deserts. Next stop was for Çiğ Köfte (pronounced "chee koof-tay") these are a delicious meatball that is a very popular street food. They used to be made with raw meat but now are meatless and made with bulgur wheat and several spices. They were another very tasty item from our tour. Next we tried another popular and tasty street food called Midye Dolma which is stuffed mussels with aromatic rice, herbs, and spices and Hamsi Tava which is one of the most popular fish recipes in Turkish cuisine. It is anchovies fried with a cornmeal coating until crispy. These fish were also suprpisingly delicious. In between all of our food tastings Emre was showing us many beautiful buildings and giving us some fascinating history about Istanbul and Turkiye. He showed us Aga Hamami which is the oldest Hamam (Massage / Bath House) that was built in 1454 by the Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror and is still in use today. In fact we had an outstanding massage there the day after our food tour. It was truly like stepping back in time and was a wonderful experience that everyone should try at least once in their lifetime. Continuing on our food tour Emre took us through 2 famous passages: Çiçek Pasajı (Flower Passage) on İstiklal Avenue, known for its historic cafes and restaurants, and Aleppo Passage (Halep Pasajı), also on İstiklal Avenue, which is famous for its antique furniture and art shops. These passages are popular architectural sites that offer a glimpse into the city's past while serving as vibrant hubs for modern activites today. Next stop was The Turkish restaurant made famous by Anthony Bourdain called Dürümzade, a spot known for its dürüm (wraps) and kebabs. The flavor of the food here was off the charts good. I have never tasted anything quite like it. Another place I could have just stayed at and ate everything on the menu. Lastly, we stopped at a wondeful little desert shop / bakery and tried Almond Paste (called Badem Ezmesi in Turkish) and Halva which is a tasty desert made from crushed sesami seeds and sugar. The oven in this shop was bigger than the shop itself and was so unique and awesome to see. The shop has been there for over 100 years. After our food tour we had a Traditional Coffee on Sand Workshop scheduled that Emre was so kind to walk us to so we didn't get lost in the maze of steets and alleyways that is Istanbul. The location had actually moved around the corner from its original location and Emre was so helpful at finding it for us, and then speaking with the people there who didn't seem to have our reservation. He smoothed everything out for us and was so professional and helpful. He even made sure we knew just how to get back to the cruise port from the location of our coffeee workshop. Emre was more like a long lost friend than a tour guide. He was as good as you could ever hope for in a tour guide. He made every aspect of our food tour better with his vast knowledge, humor and history. We loved every minute of this tour. The food was great and our tour guide Emre was even better!!!
Ines in Buenos Aires was excellent
Ines was excellent. We were a group of 6 and toured for 4 hours. We could not have had a better guide to see the city and get a better understanding of the history and current lifestyle in Buenos Aires. We all agreed that touring with Ines was the highlight of our time in Buenos Aires. Great communicator and a wonderful attitude made the 4 hours fly by. Felt like we saw quite a lot of the city and learned a ton without feeling like we were in class ;-). Would HIGHLY recommend Ines for anyone looking for an incredibly informative and fun tour of this beautiful city.
Best street art experience with Igor in Lisbon
We loved exploring street art with Igor. He was extremely knowledgeable about the art and pointed out so many details we never would have noticed. He shared extra information giving us Instagram connections to other artists plus his ebook. He was an enthusiastic and brilliant tour guide and we loved seeing hidden art that we wouldn't have found on our own. It was fun to see some street artists in action painting a wall and they were folks that Igor knew! We highly recommend Igor as a street art guide.
We had a great tour hosted by Mila!
We had a great tour hosted by Mila! Good pace, interesting facts and fun facts that we would never have known about Seville! Thanks, Mila.
