I love the concept of using wonky veg

I love the concept of using wonky veg, and mostly it is really good. Sometimes the veg seems as if it is a bit old, and goes "off" quickly - particularly the carrots. I just put them in the fridge now! And there are never many potatoes, even for just 2 people - I'd like enough for a couple of meals at least. Generally very happy as such good value.

Not as good as Oddbox

We'd previously had Oddbox and were gutted when they stopped delivering in our area. Wonky Veg sadly just isn't quite as good in either variety or quality of produce but the delivery and customer service has been great.

Great

Great! Not any cheaper than supermarket wonky stuff, and the oranges were dry and mealy, but apart from that, really good

I love the idea of this but…

I love the idea of this but unfortunately the reality didn't work for me at all. The website states that you get an email before your box is sent, telling you what's inside however that turned out to only list 3 items and the rest was a surprise which made it really difficult to Meal plan.

I understand that this is rescued Fruit and vegetables so didn't expect perfect looking items but the majority of the Fruit I received was already going off (black Bananas and brown grapes) and I personally felt that the price point is far too high for the quality of the items received.

Reliable

Friendly staff, both through email and at the delivery. Keep me informed about what will be in my veg box, and deliveries are reliable.

Not good value for money

I love the idea of saving in waste and having it delivered straight to your door. However I was a little disappointed in how much you get for your money. I could get triple what I got in a large fruit box in the supermarket. Also the pineapple we got was mouldy.

Awful! Don’t waste your money

Awful!
Awful selection. The box was tiny and was meant to be large! The apples were like grapes. Bananas bruised. Never worth the money. Ordered the eggs but they cancelled them and never informed me or asked if I still wanted the rest of the order. When I queried it they told me that yodel don’t deliver eggs. However it was delivered by Dpd!! Don’t waste your money!

Great box and idea!

Only issue is some of the smaller items got bruised from being under melon and I would say the box sizes are on the smaller side, other than that I have no faults! You pay about what you would from the shop, but get a variety of different fruit and veg to try each week and help to stop it going to waste! Although I've had to cancel due to different food intolerance and diseases within the family, I highly recommend if you want to try different veg and fruit and stop it going to waste! The melons are always delicious, and we tried one we hadn't previously and is super hard to find it shops.

Waste of money

Please do not waste your money on these boxes. They are no better than what Lidl and Aldi put out for £1.00 or £1.50 and a lot of what was in the boxes were only good for the bin. I have taken photos and am waiting for a response from Wonky. I seeiously could have bought three times as much , freskët from a supermarket.

100% amazing.

Where to start. This is an amazing company and ran by two of the most caring, genuine and responsive people in the whole world. Each week I look forward to my delivery. The box is full to the brim with delicious vegetables that are ‘wonky’ but in all honesty, not a sausage wrong with them! The box has a great variety and the veg lasts us ages.

But what sets this company apart, is Hollie and Stuart. Always there to help and support, their Instagram is always up to date with their lastest fruit and veg and I love that they give a little life behind the veg. I feel like I’ve grown to know the both of them. Their values are fantastic, giving a percentage to charity warms my cockles and if I’m being truthful, rather refreshing that in this day two young business owners are morally and ethically right.

They are so amazing that they are straight on the phone or email when needed. I was off on holiday and Hollie was able to pause the box as I had forgotten! She is a mind reader.

If you are in doubt about whether to use this. 100% recommend.

First time ordering but won’t order…

First time ordering but won’t order again . Delivery was 24 hours late , a courier issue apparently however I wasn’t notified until after I had asked where my delivery was .
Multiple items completely rotten and had to be thrown away .

The only prompt action was the refund when I posted on their Facebook page
