Really good
Wordpress provides a really good service. Used them for a while and i was very satisfied.
AWESOME CMS.
Free, fast, easy to use and the community support has such a large user base that you can't go wrong with this cms.
I use it for shop, social networking, blogging, video sites, music sites, and everything you can imagine.
The multi-site feature is too good to be true and yet it's true.
From one installation you can spawn endless sites from it.
The best CMS in my opinion.
Used by one-third of global websites
Used by one-third of global websites. Of course, this is great.
Decent website maker
While WordPress is a decent tool to create your own website, the endless competition it's having right now doesn't allow me to vote higher than 3. They have to step up their game.
WordPress.org is not WordPress.com
Seems that a lot of people are complaining about WordPress.com but this section is for WordPress.ORG. The organisation website is free source code and doesn't offer a paid hosting option like the .com counterpart.
WordPress is a fantastic, free platform although it has quite a learning curve it seems. Plenty of plugins and templates. It's the CMS champion but unfortunately it's showing some grey hairs now with the new competitors, like Squarespace, providing better functionality.
The Gutenberg update is their attempt at fighting back but it doesn't seem to be well received.
I'll continue to use this great, free platform until I find something better.
If it wasn't for Wordpress and the free…
If it wasn't for Wordpress and the free CMS, I would be working as a cleaner! Thank you for an amazing source code that has helped me produce my websites and work with others to create blogs that people love. Not to mention the fact that through Wordpress CMS, I have built up my home business. Thank you :)
Theres a big learning curve

We Are Super Pleased With Our Experience To Date Using Wordpress
We are super pleased with our experience to date using wordpress. There are tons of resources available for us to study when set backs come up. Quality information can be found on the forum. There are plenty of chat supports available some even 24/7. The solution to challenges we may have to debug will be out there. The platform is very robust. It allows us to express ourselves in so many creative ways. Wordpress is super software. We look forward to learning more about while building beauty from ashes on what Wordpress has to roll out in the future. Later.

WordPress.org rocks!
Also you will need to host your own WP site if you want to use WordPress.org and WordPress.com will host your website but limited access.
This is really the best and good recommendation for someone who actually wants to start a blog!
Weasling unwanting costumers out of money for the next years service
Ive had a website for two years now with them that I didn't do anything with since I set it up. It basically just cost me 18 bucks a year for the last couple years.
After the last year went by and I still didn't do anything with it I decided I wanted to cancel it and I just happened to remember on the same day they were going to charge me for the next year. So I go to my domains and i find the one I want to cancel, and I try to find the option to cancel it, and there is no option. Only a button that says payment method or option or something like that. And I click on that and it takes me to a page that talks about my payment plan, how much I'm paying, when it renews on etc. I can't find any way to manually cancel my plan. All I see is an option to click on that says "contact support to cancel and get refund." I saw that I had 48 hours after renewal to cancel my plan and get refunded. So I contact support and tell them exactly what I want. This was two weeks ago. They never contacted me back. They charged me the 18 bucks for the year and never refunded me or even contacted me back, nor did they cancel my domain. I went back a couple weeks ago, right after the 48 hour refund period expired, and only after it was too late to cancel and get the refund, only then, and immediately after, as if by magic was there the option to manually cancel my domain. Only after it was too late to stop them from taking my money or get it back, could I cancel it by myself. And if you try to contact them before, these WEASLES will be nowhere to be found. im pretty sure any idiot should be able to tell what they Are doing here. I want to know if anyone else has also experienced this with them. Needless to say I won't be using them for anything ever again. They are crooks who weasle their way out of their end of the deal, hide away instead of keeping their promises... They've got it basically set up so that you can't stop them from taking your money and keeping it, whether you actually keep the site up for the next year after or not And don't expect you to notice or do anything about it and expect you to still want to use their service. As far as I'm concerned, they owe me 18 bucks that I'll probably never see. And I know 18 dollars isn't a lot of money, but I don't care if it's 18 CENTS, The PRINCIPLE is the only thing I care about. As popular and widely used as they are, you'd think they'd be expected to perform up to and have a certain ethical standard, which this is FAR BELOW. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in this company, DO NOT USE THEM
They should be taken off the internet!!!
This is just scam
This is just scam! They try to put you to pay service to help with website. After I paid $149 agents gave me only 20 minutes and they tried to put me to other paying options such to build a website and it cost $2000 at least. Very disappointed. Don’t recommend Wordpress to anyone.

Attempting to transfer my domain from…
Attempting to transfer my domain from WordPress to SquareSpace. Squarespace support have been awesome. WordPress have not. A couple of instant messages that have been off-hand saying "I'll just have to wait". My website is losing traffic by the day. I have a backlog of content that I cannot publish because the impact will be lost if I have to include an unprofessional url with my name on it while WordPress delay the transfer even further.
I am literally at a standstill until the domain transfers over and no contact within the specified 5 days.
I've had the domain unlocked for weeks and pressed the button on Friday. Now Thursday.
Beware if you are considering moving site domains. Not happy at all.

The worst customer service I have ever…
The worst customer service I have ever experienced in the website building community, They have my Mastercard information and keep taking money out without my website even running, it is atrocious! I have been fighting with them for months now and all the do is forward me to other technicians that also do nothing to solve the issue of a non working website, they make comments that are low blows before closing the conversation. No number to call, conveniently. Will never trust this service again.
