I love Waze and that new dude keeps one really entertained during the drive. I like it when he says it’s as easy as 123 and good job 😁😁

I installed waze about a year ago, been working great we really got along, after about 3 months I was travelling from the South up to Hull. The A1 was closed it took me off the A1 on an hour detour and brought me right back to where I originally came off the A1, I turned to Google maps to sort me out.
I had a similar experience yesterday 17/11/24 travelling from Newcastle to Birmingham heavy delays on A1 South waze took me off the A1 on a detour and brought me right back into the queues. Again Google to the rescue, waze has been removed from my device. Sorry but personally I wouldn't waste your time with it, Google all the way..

If i could give 0 stars then I would, had to switch to Google Maps to my vehicle navigation as just couldnt trust Waze no more. Repeatedly sending me on ridiculous routes that just dont make sense. Google maps all the way for me.

Waze is best navigation app and works perfectly in my country.

The app itself has pros and cons but the problem is Lostinmymaps. What a useless fat pos. Would give zero stars if I could.

The app is a liar 🤥 . Says there’s no delay when that’s all there are are delays

Never down load this app. Made me to take a route where I was completely lost my shows tragic moving but was stationary for 2 hours. My journey took me home over 5 hours. Completer rubbish and bin the app.

THIS SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW TO MAKE PEOPLE GO 25 MINUTES out of their way😡😡😡😡😡😡 FIX THIS APP!!! STOP GIVING MOTIVATIONAL SPEECHES AND YOU FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET PEOPLE THE FASTEST ROUTE!!!!! I hate this APP!! Who created this mess, it always takes me out of my way, but yesterday it was worse!! When I was 2 minutes away, the app made me go straight and took me 15 minutes down the road through construction 😡.

Been using this years, bit glitchy years ago,but anyone who gave up then ( like me) try again its good now., the re routes are fast,great if u take a wrong turn in a busy town.,the map easy to see, the revenue ( speed) cameras are fully listed and the live buttons mean all mobile cameras are quickly added, its saved me several times ,its better/ quicker than all the other apps imo... odd choice of routing sometimes but i figured its not that odd,it takes into account times of day,traffic flow and a lot of things other apps dont take into account...use it,the more that do, the better it gets....minus points? Too many silly voices, but normal voices often have the choice of detailed road info or basic, which is great...find the one u want and its great,

Was good - now it is too unreliable.
I've generally been happy with Waze, it certainly pulled me off the motorway to avoid a one hour plus wait for a RTA to be cleaned up and gave timely alerts for speed cameras. But, perhaps because more people are using the app, I increasingly find myself leaving one queue to join another one. At times the diversions to save a couple of minutes have been laughable - not just because of the twisty roads, junctions, and pot holes, but also because I found myself stuck behind a procession of big and slow moving vehicles... save what? Surely not, certainly not when I caught sight of the motorway traffic moving freely as I turn to avoid another pot hole of the farm track...
Then there's the unreliable alerts. Object on the hard shoulder, usually spot on. Speed camera... maybe Waze will tell you, or maybe notifications will play dumb - if you're lucky and managed to take your eyes off the road for long enough - you'll get a red alert at the bottom of the screen... or maybe you won't get anything. There's the problem: drivers need consistency. Waze does not have it. It is an app with promise, but promises, like good intentions... they pave the way to hell.

If you try to route to Red Funnel ferry terminal at Southampton from Birmingham or London or anywhere more than about 40 miles away it routes you via Portsmouth, then over to the Isle of Wight by ferry then back to southampton and then to the ferry terminal. About 6 hour drive. Reporting this basic issue to Waze was a waste of my time because they instantly want a load of more info which I dont have: Please be advised that to investigate the issue further, the details below are required:
• Your Waze username and email address
• Your device make and model
• Your iOS version
• The time, date and your exact location when you searched. Please send us a permalink
• A screenshot of your search if you have one
• Your route’s start point and endpoint (Permalink)
• When was the suggestion made
• Are you experiencing this issue all the time, occasionally, or just this one time?
• Your Debug logs
• The date and time you sent the logs
• What steps you took, from start to finish
• The date and time you reproduced the issue
• What steps you took, from start to finish

Often gives us wrong direccions wich add long distances and time to correct the initial destiny. You really have to fix this because google mapa is far better

Only used it twice. Both times it took me to the wrong location. Yesterday it couldn't find the airport. It took me to a private hangar in some sort of industrial wasteland. Switched to Google Maps and had no trouble.

Never using that cr*p again!

WARNING! - USE GOOGLE MAPS NOT THIS!

Inputted that i would like to avoid ULEZ and had a pass for the tunnel which is fared, yet en-route, it diverted me away from the tunnel, added 20 minutes onto my journy which was an extra 9 miles and took me directly through a ULEZ city centre which cost me an arm and a leg for this App.

I knew where I needed to be and how to get there. Giving waze the benefit of the doubt, it took me way out of my way in the opposite direction. Maybe a malfunction. Although owned by Google. It really tucked today.

I went from swindon to Gloucester fine, downloaded waze to guide me home as I thought sections were closed after 8pm. Nothing was showing on the app, so off I went, wrong to assume!

What an awfully hopeless app, unintuitive, doesn't update your journey properly. It'll cost you time not save it.

Buy a map it's more use. 🤷‍♂️

My 2 hour journey to Luton airport turned into 5 hours thanks to Waze redirecting me through the middle of London.

I did not know about waze.com until I realized that there was an unauthorized use of my website's google maps api. I was charged an extra amount because of exceeding the threshold and then I realized that it waas waze.com who was responsible for this. The developers of this company are using other website's tools not to pay for services they use.
