Leaking Bar Oil. 14" Chainsaw.

I bought a 14" electric chainsaw a few weeks ago. On the plus side, it does work pretty well from a cutting standpoint. Surprisingly powerful and a good alternative to a petrol saw when you are working close to the house.
Unfortunately, the downside is it leaks bar oil like a sieve.
I did read a few reviews that noted leaking bar oil but it wasn't all that many so I figured I'd take a chance.
But it didn't work.
It leaks bar oil really badly, more than I've ever seen anything leak oil before.
Absolutely if I had known this was going to happen I would not have bought it.
The amount may not look like a lot initially but it's from the cold saw just sitting and dripping. When it's actually running the amount is a great deal more, it goes all over the floor and will get onto whatever you are wearing.
So, if you can get one that doesn't leak then it's going to be great, the issue as far as I can see however if you have no way of knowing in advance.
I would recommend you consider other saws under the circumstances.

Don’t buy a Worx wr141e robot mower

I have had no problems with Worx support; to be fair they have responded in good time and provided solutions. My concern is the quality of the product. I bought a robot lawnmower wr141e in 2022. It is hugely disappointing and a dreadful waste of money. Even after buying every attachment making the whole purchase not far off £1000, it still hits objects at random, churns up the grass in large patches, and most frustratingly, sends erroneous error messages and then doesn’t work until I’m home and can reset it. I have followed every instruction and recommendation and worked out some workarounds for myself. The bottom line is this product isn’t fit for purpose. Don’t be tempted!

Avoid

My Worx Landroid robot lawnmower was out of warranty and Worx told me that they could arrange a repair with Letmerapair. I checked the reviews and queried with Worx whether the firm were competent. Worx told me that the negative reviews were all about laptops, tablets... and that they were good with robot mowers. They're not. They had the machine for months and returned it in a worse condition than it had been before.

Customer Service gone AWOL

** Update**
To be fair they came good in the end and replaced the mower which has some better parts on it from what I can see (eg better power lever which broke early on my original). A lot of the messing around was DPD related with none pick up and delivering back without it ever reaching its destination. There was a bit of radio silence but perhaps that was due to the holiday period.

Having a terrible time trying to get my mower fixed where plastic teeth on a part at the base of the motor have worn out. Patrick and Emma at Worx customer service originally seemed decent and ordered a pickup by DPD for my mower. This never materialised so another was arranged for when I arrived back from holiday. DPD came and picked up but then brought it back in my original packaging 3 days later! Patrick blamed this on a DPD error and arranged another pick up which once again never arrived! Since then I have not had any response and am left with a broken packaged up mower and a one foot tall lawn. Then I saw these reviews and my heart sank. Very poor to deal with and badly designed product

I have had a worx 20volt cordless…

I have had a worx 20volt cordless drill/driver for about 5 years came with 2 battery's a fast charger and a solid case. I can't fault this drill it has done so much work and been trouble free it has been dropped multiple times both batteries still hold a full charge. I think it was £90 UK so less than £20 a year truly an excellent tool. I am slowly moving from Makita to worx tools.

Steer clear

Thought I'd pay extra and get what I thought would be a reliable strimmer, my very first line spool, after less than 10 minutes use the line breaks. I took the spool out of the strimmer and the line inside the spool had welded itself together, couldn't find the end so had to cut the line to free it, told worx on Facebook, no response. It does it with every spool I replace a complete waste of £120, steer clear, I won't touch any other products of theirs with a barge pole. Steer clear.

People who don't listen

People who don't listen, usually make mistakes that affect others, that's what happened to me. I bought a Worx Nitro fan, and it went bad within the warranty period. I finally found a phone number after searching the web quite awhile. I gave them all my information and the lady I talked with said it was under warranty and she would process a replacement, BUT I had to pay $13.00 in shipping. I finally agreed and got transferred again to make the payment. When I was transfered back to her, it was close to closing time, and I was told my order was on "hold" for collection and to call another number. It was a collection agency and they were mad before I spoke the first word. Anyway they could not find an account that had me in collections and hung up. I called worx back and after three "customer service agents" got to one that took some time to research the problem, it seems the very first customer service agent listed me as living in Canada? She got that figured out, but they still can't ship the fan until someone in theri collections finds this out and releases my fan for shipment. They will send me an email when it ships........and so on.

In an age where customer service is…

In an age where customer service is disappearing my experience with WORX was absolutely EXCEPTIONAL. The representative was awesome. I just LOVE my blower and vacuum it’s powerful and we have tons of leaves to pick up! I 100% recommend their products because they work PLUS they stand behind without question their warranty. Don’t hesitate by from WORX. Whoever runs this company is doing an incredible job.

Very seldom do I get to give a 5 star…

Very seldom do I get to give a 5 star review.I had an issue with my robot mower that they could had said that’s not cover under warranty. Because of water damage . Instead they paid for me to ship an then replace several parts. They sent me a email with parts they replaced. Got to keep my reminder warranty. Everybody I talked with deserves a 5 star.keep up the great work. Your company is one in a few in this day of time.ty David Boddie

Elegant looking but broke on first use

Elegant looking, light weight pressure washer. Pressure OK rather than great. It does not compare well to a petrol or full electric washer. struggled to remove mud from my LandRover but just about got there in the end. HOWEVER, as I put it down to disconnect the hose the end piece which pressures the water broke off inside the fixing. Have returned it for a refund. If your ned is for a light weight budget washer, this should normally be fine.

Very good and very bad

I bought a Worx cordless nailer, jig saw and a circular saw. The cordless nailer and the jig saw are excellent. So far very dependable after much use. However, the circular saw - was literally a piece of junk. The first time I used it - it fell apart in my hand - could have been very dangerous if I was not exceptionally cautious. Menards took it back and said they would contact Worx and let them know if the issue. I hope they did.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD please allow people to contact you via email or chat with questions. Your customer support tool on the website is just a preset list of questions/answers and all wanted to know was if I could add to an order I just placed - basically spend more money on your cool a$$ stuff. Oh, and a discreet shipping option would be GREAT because it's freaking Christmas and my wife saw the extremely telling box on the front step from a mile away (there's literally photos of the item all over the box). IT WAS A HILARIOUS BUMMER. Love your products, though. Okay love you bye.

One of my best investment 👌

I bought these tools for the first time in a DIY store a few years ago. Since then, I have been systematically buying only Works tools, I think that for this price nothing will beat them, none of them has been broken or damaged in any way so far everyone works and each charger charges the batteries to full, I can not say any bad words about this brand, although I often thought about Milwaukee or Dewalt, however, it stays connected due to the low price and even if one of these tools breaks, it will be cheaper to buy a new one than a new DeWalt

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Countless emails over the course of 3 months chasing what should be a simple warranty claim. Company uses every possible excuse to delay refund.
