WPF is a great place to train as a therapist. Supervision is included in the training cost. WPF Clinic organise the allocation of clients so no having to take up numerous placements outside of the organisation to achieve your hours. Staff are friendly and supportive. Definitely recommend – I wish I’d trained here!

I live near to this office and their alarm has been repeatedly going off during the lockdown. They can take days to reply to messages or turn it off. I have asked them repeatedly if they would review the setup of their alarm system, but they have not. They have been particularly evasive and obnoxious about the issue. I've escalated to the CEO, Sam Downie, who also replied in an insulting and evasive way.

I have found them to be passive aggressive and inconsiderate neighbours. This wouldn't lead me to feel confident in any other services they provide.

Avoid

I had a course of therapy here a few years ago and it was just terrible. No goals, no guidance and no idea of how the process was supposed to work. It was never made clear that I was actually pouring my heart out to a student, and when I asked for an alternative, that I didn’t think that the type of therapy they had decided for me was suitable, I was told that I'd have to pay for another assessment and start again. 10 months I continued with it, because I was desperate and had nothing else.
A year later I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and looking back at signs which were obvious in hindsight, the "professionals" I dealt with were completely oblivious.
Just a truly terrible experience which only delayed and obstructed my recovery. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Do not train here!

If you can afford other choice for training/ education I would recommend to go elsewhere!

You get more for your money in terms of facility and support.

unqualified, fake therapist- taking advantage of vulnerable people

the company seems very busy, so you are lead to believe they are good but this is definitely not the case. This is a con! The therapist are not qualified. They take advantage of vulnerable people. I turned to them when I was going through job loss and a long term relationship loss. 7 years later, I've looked back and see clearly and still feel it is a waste of time and money! They do not help, they sit in the corner and just listen. Do not offer any advice or help to process or move forward and charge atleast £30 each time. That was the cheap rate! ( And tell you that you need to do a few sessions for it to work). What they offer is what a friend, family member or neighbour could offer, not what a therapist should offer! They should be closed down for ripping people off. I wish I could get my money back and time. It better to let time heal you, practise meditation and read self help books and just be gentle and look after yourself.
