Avoid Wilde Trice (SW) Ltd

This review refers to Wilde Trice (SW) Ltd. I needed a survey quite urgently and was assured by Oliver he could do it the following week. He asked for payment before confirming he had booked a time with estate agent and then did not contact for 3 days. I rang the estate agent who confirmed he hadn't been in touch or made an appointment to do the survey (Oliver says differently) so due to the weekend approaching and urgency of the matter, I rang his mobile (no answer) and rang his secretary to express concern that I had paid but not had a confirmed date of when he would survey. He then sent me a text telling me to 'leave him to get on with it!' and 'if he needs to respond to any message from me again, he will charge an extra £100'. As a result of this, I cancelled his services. He showed no appreciation that if he had done what he promised or communicated in a timely fashion, I would not have felt it necessary to chase him up. I have had to pay £100 cancellation fee which is very unfair given he took my money but did not demonstrate he would honour his agreement to do the survey in the time-frame I asked for and was in my opinion threatening in his text message to me. He says he wasn't threatening me but that he was 'frustrated!', which I think sums up his unprofessional approach. He is cheaper than other surveyors, but be warned.
