Let us introduce ourselves. We're a family run business based in Irvine, Ayrshire. That's on the west coast of Scotland. You know, the place where it only rains for 364 days of the year. Anyway, hello and welcome! I suppose you're wondering who we are though rather than where we are. Am I right? Let me start off by telling you that the company has two different parts. First part... xs-stock-shop.jpg We've got a huge discount store based in the heart of Irvine - it's one of those giant warehouse-style shops with everything in it but the kitchen sink. Actually, we might even have one of those somewhere now that I think about it… Our shop measures about 25,000 sq. ft. which is pretty big. To put it into perspective that’s the same as around 915 Nissan Micras! Or 32 T-Rex! Or even 4166 Golden Retrievers! (Before you ask it’s a no, I’ve asked my wife and I’m 100% not allowed 4166 Golden Retrievers. Or a T-Rex). If you’re from Irvine or know it well, our shop is in the old B&Q building. We've been here selling top branded items at discount prices since way back in October 2000, time definitely flies. There's a large seasonal section in the shop that keeps our customers coming back too. It changes from the garden & outdoors to Halloween to Christmas throughout the year. Also, I've got to mention, we just love Halloween here at XS. Our shop is the only place to be at that time of year. You won't find a bigger range of costumes, accessories and party decorations anywhere else. But all that shopping is hard work, isn’t it? We know that, so we've even managed to squeeze a little café in so you can take a break mid-shop! The café’s a big hit with our regulars and it serves up the tastiest lunches, snacks, teas, coffees and my personal favourite…home baking! If you're watching your figure you can still eat here, but the cakes may be too much temptation for you. Julie Hodge runs the shop with her team today. Now... Julie is one of our Directors and married to Adrian, that’s me. I’m the Managing Director and Douglas is my Dad and a Director too. Try and keep up. Family structures can be complex. Second part... xs-stock-whouse.jpg We've got an online business too. I'm being a bit modest when I say it that way. It maybe sounds like we run the online business from the car park at the shop… The reality couldn't be further from that - we’ve actually got two huge warehouses in Irvine's Riverside Business Park which my dad and I run together. There are over 20 staff members here doing everything you can imagine like picking and packing orders, customer service, creating content for the web and more! We like to think of ourselves as one big happy (and slightly crazy) family, and whether you shop with us all the time or have never visited our store or placed an order with us yet - welcome to the world of XS Stock!

Not a good experience
Ordered a number of items from XS . The parcel was very late in arriving probably due to Royal Mail Strikes. One item was ordered but not sent in the box. Contacted XS who instead of offering to send a replacement just refunded me the purchase price. Pretty poor show all round. Will not be using them again.

The delivery delay you mentioned was unfortunately outside of our control and linked to disruption within the Royal Mail network at the time. We appreciate how frustrating delayed deliveries can be.

While we appreciate that you would have preferred a replacement, refunds are sometimes issued where stock availability or fulfilment timings mean a replacement would cause further delay.

I stumbled upon this website whilst starting my Xmas shopping (as I do midway through the year for the best discounts) when I came across this website . Hasn’t heard of it so done a quick check of reviews and decided to go ahead and make a purchase with the positive feedback I’d seen. I spent £26 on Xmas pjs hot water bottles colouring items laundry baskets etc and arrived 1 days later constantly giving me shopping updates so I knew where my package was . The quality was brilliant and fantastic value for price . I will 100% recommend this website to anyone and can’t speak highly enough I will be ordering again and am one super happy customer

Customer service are horrible
Customer service are horrible. Sent wrong item first, then said gonna send replacement. DPD said going to arrive 1st Feb ( they have recieved the deatils but not the item )but obviously they couldn’t arrive as Xs Stock hasnt even sent out the item, was keep saying its dpds fault..But cause dpd said they gonna come, ive made myself free for that day which means ive lost a day money from work and Xs stock only said sorry and coudnt even give discount... horrible horrible service

We acknowledge that the incorrect item was initially sent, and once this was reported a replacement was arranged. Delivery updates shown by DPD are generated by the courier once shipment details are created, and estimated delivery dates can appear before the parcel has physically entered their network. Unfortunately, these timelines are controlled by DPD and can change outside of our control.
We understand how inconvenient it was to set aside time based on the courier’s notification and appreciate how frustrating that must have been. While we always aim to assist where possible, we’re unable to compensate for loss of earnings resulting from courier scheduling.

Great for bargains and fast delivery

Very disappointed today in xs stock
Very disappointed today in xs stock. Went to cafe and had to send food back. Was cold. Cafe extremely cold also. People sat with jackets on and one girl had a hood with fur collar up over her head. Everyone said air conditioning/ fan too cold!!!
Left cafe to purchase another beautiful wreath for my parents door and overhead a man saying that it was pathetic that the place was so cold! Come on xs I know it’s all about covid and looking after your staff but really does it have to be like the artic to buy your Christmas presents?

Fantastic Customer Service
Recently ordered a few items. Ordered a set of Christmas lights and unfortunately they are faulty, just one of those things. I made contact with them and the next day i had a replacement set with no fuss which work perfectly. Perfect customer service and a quick delivery. Would certainly use again.

I was looking for snoozies online and found them here at a very good price and ordered these and a few other items. Very fast delivery, do love the tracking order but royal mail always seem to be a dunce for delivering (took them 5 days to deliver a 48 hr promise). That would be the only fault I have with this company.

Returned item which was too heavy for me to pedal at my own expense for £39 to then be told they would only pay me 70% of what I paid for the machine because it got ‘scratched’ on the way back to them.
