Loved and enjoyed every minute!
I loved and enjoyed every minute sailing last week with skipper Dal and host Poppy from Dubrovnik to Trogir. Not once a dull moment. However the wind made it hard to sail as much as I would have liked, that didn’t affect the trip at all. Dal is a great social skipper with a beautiful sense of humor and Poppy, never grumpy and always in a good mood, surprised us with a diversity of meals. A challenge with a lot of veggies on board, but Poppy rocked it. The swim stops happened to be at beautiful places, loved it, and the nights weren’t rocky at all. As I was prepared to take every 8 hours two pills against motion sickness, after a few days I stopped taking them Thanks to Dalls talented skipperskills. And finally me and my husband were so lucky to find 6 great other guest on the Yacht. Don’t know if we’ll ever meet again, but all of you are in my memorie for ever. Enjoyed it to get to know each other en had such a good time with them all. Thanks to everybody, because without the other guests, Dal and Poppy it wouldn’t have been such a magnificent week! And this morning I just was thinking, no ‘goodmorning’, responding Dall ‘and what a morning it is’. Ahoy

Really clear your mind and relax
Me and my wife had a great time on the Easy Course with captain Dal and host Poppy. We were in good hands with all the experience of Dal and good cooking of Poppy. There was really a good balance during the day where the program allowed enough time to do activities (swimming, snorkeling etc), sailing and docking to see the small villages and have dinner. Dal and Poppy made sure all was prepared and everybody had a good time.

We had an amazing week sailing from Split to Dubrovnik with Dal and Poppy. They went to great lengths to ensure our trip was filled with memorable moments. skipper Dal took the opportunity to hoist the sails whenever possible while Poppy cooked delicious food. The perfect honeymoon, crew and boat friends!
Cate and Ellen - oh wow! I would honestly request this duo again in a heartbeat. From the moment we bumped into them in the supermarket before boarding, to saying goodbye at the final port, we laughed/played games/ate great food/sailed the seas and made memories of a lifetime. Cate was obviously a pro skipper and Ellen a whizz with the culinary skills. They were so thoughtful and flexible, every detail crafted around our needs and wants. And the locations? Well Croatia is jaw dropping, the little coves we visited and the nights we spent on a buoy were my favourites. I’d even say the crazy storms were a fantastic experience!! It was our honeymoon dream that felt more like a group of friends exploring the world together and for that we are incredibly grateful to the crew and to yacht getaways for the group they assigned us to. We haven’t stopped raving about it to all our friends!!

Just returned from a joyous week exploring the northern islands of Croatia. Goes without saying that the landscape was beautiful and idilic but the holiday was made truly special and stand out by the team at Yacht getaways throughout. The on board crew of Angus (Skipper) and Lauren and Jo (hosts extraordinaire) kept us informed (with expert local knowledge), well fed (the most delicious food prepared on board) and entertained (with their funny stories and tales of life at sea!)
I cannot recommend this enough! go book now!

Great experience on Zadar trip
Lauren, Angus, and Jo were all fantastic. I highly recommend them. Very genuine people who clearly cared that everyone had a great trip. Food was fantastic. Swim spots were spectacular. Wonderful trip overall. Will definitely book a third trip in the future.

A really enjoyable week with Angus, Lauren and Jo (an above and beyond combination) and delightful fellow guests from the UK, USA and Switzerland.
Visiting beautiful bays, and out of the way places; swimming in crystal clear waters; excellent on board food and restaurant recommendations giving a flavour of Croatian cuisine. Angus a skilled, professional and entertaining skipper. Lauren and Jo great talented, thoughtful and knowledgable hosts.

Absolutely perfect vacation!
Lauren and Angus and Jo were all wonderful! We had an amazing time and enjoyed incredible food and smooth sailing! The islands were all peaceful and there was a ton of Sam stops. I’m a morning jogger and enjoyed a nice jog every morning on some gorgeous trail by the water in every spot. Lauren really impressed me with her cooking and we enjoyed crepes, falafel, sea bass , cheese/meats platters, lovely fresh fruit…and Angus expertly navigated us every day and really took good care of us. I couldn’t have asked for a better trip! Our boat joke was waking up and acting annoyed and saying “ugh, another gorgeous morning” lol. Book with confidence!

The Best Sailing Trip We've Been On
We sailed with Yacht Getaways on the Ionian Explorer route and it was the dreamiest trip we’ve taken in years! Our host Lauren and skipper Levi took great care of us and always made sure we were having a good time.
The trip had a perfect balance of activity and relaxation; we loved being able to explore the lesser known islands without the crowd. We also had a great group of travelers from all over the world: Australia, New Zealand, UK, and Czech Republic.
We've been on a few sailing trips, and this was by the far the best one we've taken! It was so good that we're thinking of sailing with them again next summer...

Great trip, great boat, excellent crew
First, the people: dream team of Magnus and Ellen made this week long trip the absolute best it could be. Lots of local knowledge, an education in sailing, great fun all week and amazing food to top it all off. AMAZING 👏 Second, the rest - the boat was very clean and comfortable, and well stocked with all we could want. The route was a pleasant mix of bays (for dining/swimming) and marinas (for exploring the local area/dinner). A winery tour and national park tops it off. Great way to travel on holiday
