Stay away only signed up 4 days ago and came under financial difficulties so couldn't pay for contract. I explain to customer serive and all they said there is no call of period didn't care about your situation. They pray on small bussiness with no help just wants your money.

Martin today was awesome

Martin today was awesome, i called to discuss cancelling our contract at the end of our term.
Martin listened, supported what we didnt know (the parts that we could better as a retailer) and acknowledged the nature of my call.
No hard sell to stay, but adding massive value which remined me why we joined with Yell in the first place.
We are likely to stay and just review our current package.

Without a doubt the best service I have ever had over the phone. Thousands spent and nothing to show for it.

Extremely poor experience with Yell. After spending thousands on advertising, I’ve had no return and no meaningful support whatsoever. The only contact I’ve received has been repeated phone calls and text messages chasing payment.
Despite making multiple requests to close my account, I am still being billed, including additional charges of over £40. This is unacceptable given I have clearly asked for the account to be closed.
I have also made formal GDPR requests regarding my personal data, which have not been responded to within the required timeframe. This raises serious concerns about their compliance with data protection obligations.
Overall, I’ve had no benefit from the service, constant pressure for payment, and ongoing issues even after trying to end the agreement.
I now have to spend even more of my time that could be spent running my business to escalate this matter to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Run for your life.
Yell bill us for our small independent business website - which is 'run' using Wix. Unfortunately we were passed onto this system (not our choosing). Our website has gone down on multiple occasions. Most recently, for over a whole week. When you call Yell - they blame Wix "we have nothing to do with it, we just do the billing". When you call Wix "It's not us, you need to speak to Yell".

They set me round in circles for an entire day passing the book between them but refusing to communicate with each other - hence me having to do all the calling. I was utterly frustrated by the end getting no answers or even a simple apology for their incompetence. When I asked for compensation (given we're paying for a service they couldn't provide) they both refused - again just blaming each other.

Appalling lack of knowledge, customer care or support. Independent businesses rely on their website etc to ensure business. Yell couldn't care less about that.

When I asked them to speak to Wix themselves rather than continue to ask me to call them and continue on the never ending merry-go-round of hellish phone calls... they said no as they don't have any direct dealings with them. Except the partnership they entered into in 2021!

Being between Yell and Wix is a complete nightmare. They blame each other and refuse to take any accountability for the lack of notification we should have received - ultimately leading to our website going into a total blackout.

If you are an independent business, and care about your customers - you do not want to be anywhere near these clowns.
