I wish I had checked some reviews…
I wish I had checked some reviews before signing up for Yelp advertising. I joined last Friday, and before the weekend was over, I’d already received over 80 sales calls—not ones that could help my business, but people trying to sell me something else. Since Monday, I’m not sure how many more I’ve gotten because I installed a call blocker to handle some of them. I’ve tried calling to cancel the ads but ended up on hold for over 45 minutes on multiple occasions. The chat option on their site just loops endlessly, so you can never reach customer service. I even tried canceling through my credit card company, but they said they can’t do anything until I’m actually charged, at which point they can help with a dispute.
Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever
I contacted them , they was not able to assist
The y put on hold for 2 hours , and no one answered, in addition they will charge no nothing
I have tried several times to contact…
I have tried several times to contact Yelp by telephone, and by sending an email to my supposed Customer Success Manager. No response from and long wait times on the telephone to the point where I finally hung up before speaking to anyone.
I need to make changes to my Yelp page but can't make those changes independent of the assistance of Yelp. Thus, the information on my Yelp page is outdated because they won't contact me.
The worst service EVER
The worst service EVER. I went to trade my car in for a new car at Nissan of Ft Myers.I was told that I was approved for the new car 2026 Nissan Rogue. I and my girlfriend even signed the papers from suncoast the bank that approved us. Approximately 3 weeks later the salesman Palm called me up and tells me that we need to return the vehicle because the loan fell through. I didn't really care about the loan not going through. I was upset because I tossed the registration from the car that was traded in. So o go to the DMV to get a new registration and come to find out that Nissan of Ft Myers never attached the tag back to the vehicle I was going to trade in. So technically I am driving illegally. I messaged Palm who sold us the car that fell through and still nothing is being done. I also spoke to the finance manager Mr Garcia yesterday and was told that he would get a hold of there title company to get to the bottom of this situation and call me back. Still no call back. This is not the way business should be done. I had also talked to the General Manager the other day and all he cared about was the bad google review that I posted. What about caring more about the customer and taking care of what's more important. Buyer be ware of this shady company
I'm a business
Yelp sends people to my business and when I try to respond to them there is no account found. I made it clear I don't want to pay for yelp because I never got good leads from them. They are letting people send me messages I cant get back to them on. Very sneaky!! They have always been this way and constantly try to get me to pay there high fees.

Factory Direct Windows and Doors in…
Factory Direct Windows and Doors in Oveido Fl
We recently had all new high impact windows installed by this company and it was the best experience possible. The finished install is absolutely perfect! It is on time, and totally everything as represented. No delays and the installers and staff made this experience seamless.
The pricing was more than fair compared to other companies and the workmanship is second to none.
We recommend Factory Direct Windows a Doors in Oveido to everyone who needs windows and a fair deal.

Not allowed to close my Yelp Business page
I opened up a yelp business page, i tried to close the account many times and they told me that they do not close accounts unless you shut down your company. I don't want a yelp page anymore, you have no control over your account and now i cannot close it. Worse website ever !
Attempting to manage business listings…
Attempting to manage business listings with Yelp from outside the United States has been extremely frustrating.
We operate multiple business locations and found that many listings were automatically created with incorrect phone numbers and email details. Because verification codes are sent to those incorrect contacts, it becomes impossible to claim or correct the listings.
Attempts to contact support have been difficult. The toll-free number does not work internationally, and response times through support channels have been slow. Additionally, account verification processes (such as CAPTCHA checks) repeatedly failed, preventing account setup.
Overall, the system appears difficult to use for international businesses, particularly those with multiple locations. We would strongly recommend improvements to international support access and bulk listing management tools.
Get dismissed is efficient.
Get dismissed is a very helpful organization. They are promp and efficient. My documents was prepared with a high standard of knowledgeable information of traffic laws. I will highly recommend anyone who is seeking to have there traffic ticket dismissed.
Started using yelp for the business…
Started using yelp for the business signed up for something after receiving a promotion. And then, when the promotion was over, they charged his fourteen hundred dollars within a week, unbounced to us... when you sign up for the program, you sign up for everything. All at once, and then they just take you and then you try and fight it.And they say they rendered services which they never did.. complete fraudsters trash.
BUYER BEWARE!
With regards to SHEIN. This company features goods from clothing to everything else. Buyer beware! Aside from bait and switch tactics, in other words feature one price and when you go to pay, another higher price. You are lured into spins/games which offer multiple free items ( I mean after all you earned them) however when you check out, you are charged and not afforded the opportunity to get expensive item you chose. Garments are of inferior quality, inferior fabric and hardly look like pictures and are impossible to send back!!! Garments do not run true to size. Trying to reach anyone to lodge an issue is impossible. You might as well chalk your experience up as your loss and donate item to good will !!! BUYER BEWARE ! If I could give them a half star, I would! You ask for date of issue. There have been a couple of incidents however most recent a couple of days ago.
This should be a monthly communicative experience
My Son and I met at the wonderful Speakeasy The Rendition for our Father Son communicative anniversary. What that involves is a relaxed discussion in a secluded [in the back of Vitello`s Italian Restaurant in Studio City. Speakeasy that is a blast in the past during the Prohibition era. We have been to a few in New York, but nothing to the breath and measure in beauty of the Rendition Room. We are at the front of the restaurant with a on time reservation greeted by the true Master of ceremonies the great Scott. With Scott we enter the Rendition Room opening with a book case and then parting and walking through a curtain. Inside the warm cozy room soothing dark room with booths at the wall , middle of room cozy stuffed armchairs and tables facing the grand Wurlitzer . Up front you can sit at the bar to better watch Scott in action. He handles it all making sure one and all is taken care of moving swiftly like a middle linebacker. Witty humor and attention are the mainstay of the evening. Scott is never intrusive, so my Son and I can get to the reason for the evening, straight communicating with just each other. To touch base with our thoughts and emotions are necessary to have a Father/Son relationship that grow smoothly or possibly not. This quiet haven is a place to keep the communicative lines open. You can order food from main dinning room or just have drinks. All good, and great place to take your wife. I did and she loved it.
Lack of Accountability and Support for Businesses
I am beyond frustrated with Yelp and the way they handle serious issues that directly damage a business’s reputation.
We recently received a negative review from someone who clearly confused our company with another business. This is not the first time — it has happened multiple times. Every time, we report it, explain the situation, and provide context. And every single time, Yelp did absolutely nothing.
This is unacceptable. Incorrect reviews are not harmless — they lower our rating, mislead potential clients, and directly impact our revenue. A platform that profits from businesses should have basic systems in place to verify or remove clearly inaccurate reviews. Yelp chooses not to.
What makes this even worse is the constant pressure to pay for advertising. Yelp has no problem calling, emailing, and pushing for higher monthly payments, yet shows zero urgency when it comes to protecting the businesses that fund their platform.
At this point, it feels like Yelp is more interested in selling visibility than maintaining fairness or accuracy. There is a clear lack of accountability, transparency, and real support.
For any business considering relying on Yelp, be aware: you may be paying to be on a platform that allows false information to harm your reputation — and does nothing to fix it.
Guidelines? Maybe for others, but not Yelp itself.
Review posted to a business that belongs to an individual that I know. The review contained these statements from the reviewer:
"Only way to get good service is by being WHITE!!!! "
" I just want the same service the WHITE PEOPLE get!!!! If I received the same service then why I never get a call back?"
I reported this review to Yelp. They replied back that their 'moderators' had reviewed it and decided to leave it posted. Let's take a look at their 'guidelines' that pertain to reviewers:
"Inappropriate Content: Yelp prohibits threats, harassment, lewdness, hate speech, or any form of bigotry." If those statements are not bigoted in nature, then I guess I have no idea what is. So much for their 'prohibition' position. Obviously, they support the very behaviors that they claim that they have no tolerance for.
Beware of the 300$ "Free" ads
I tried to advertise on Yelp and they gave me 300$ in credit. I had 3 "suggestions" for different customers that were 10 hrs to 4 days old and I noticed my "credits' were down to $105. that's 65$ per lead so if I do a car lockout for 75 they take 65 of it!!! seems more like a Scam!! I ended my Free ads before they could get into my bank account !! There is a reason companies don't allow reviews on their site!!
Yelp is a scam
Yelp is a scam! These people should be in prison! Stay far away! If you are a small business, Yelp will take you for a finacial ride, as they have a badge to commit fraud and false advertising. Don't believe me, try it for yourself!
Absolutely garbage I am advertising…
Absolutely garbage I am advertising with them and I get a lot of called non for work just people trying to sell me advertising and leads . Save yourself time money and effort. Do not use yelp business ads complete and utter garbage.
We bought a Dyson vacuum
We bought a Dyson vacuum. After waiting 3 weeks. I called Dyson to cancel the order. Dyson rep gave us a discount, canceled that order and reorder another vacuum. It arrived 2 weeks later. We charged the vacuum and went to vacuum. It vacuumed wonderful but the battery that was supposed to hold a 40 minute charge. We called Dyson and returned the vacuum being told we would get a refund in 14 days.Today I called Dyson to ask where my refund was. They still hadn't sent it. They finally sent my refund. Although Dyson has a great reputation, they do not stand behind their very expensive products
Stanly Steamer was absolutely horrible
Stanly Steamer was absolutely horrible. They didn't get stains out. While polishing my wood floors they sprayed the chemicals unto the walls. And after I gave permission to one of the workers to use my bathroom, instead of removing a mirror that was in the way he got pee all over the wall, floor and toilet.
