Smooth transfer

Professional friendly service
I have been extremely impressed with the service during onboarding. I have felt genuinely listened to with my financial needs fully considered. The administration to set up my new SIPP has been smooth with any queries dealt with in a swift and professional, yet friendly, manner. So far so good, I hope the fund choices and performance follows a similar theme.

Shady business model
I came across Yodelar while searching online and it looked promising.
I got access top their tool instantly and it looks ok-ish (not the best UX although I only looked at it briefly for 1 hour).
I was prompted multiple times to schedule a call for a free analysis of my portfolio and I finally scheduled via completing a form with my details, profile, financial details etc.
However, few days later, I received an email where they asked me if I am willing to invest at least 150k(!!) If not they would have to cancel the free consultation.
And at that point they lost me completely...
In my view, they should have communicated their business model upfront but also their requirements before I had to enter my personal and financial details.
UPDATE:
For full visibility this is what I received from Yodelar. There is absolutely no confusion from my part.

Yes we offer a free portfolio performance analysis to all investors, including yourself, this is free and you are under no obligation. You are free to upload your portfolio to https://www.yodelar.com/upload-your-portfolio anytime, and the team will complete an analysis on your behalf.
We also offer a fully regulated investment advice service through which we advise clients how to invest efficiently to meet their needs and objectives. As per our terms of business detailed on Yodelar.com we only offer this comprehensive service to investors with assets of £150,000 or more. Due to the high demand for our advice service, and the costs incurred to offer such a comprehensive service we have set this as our minimum requirement.
Separate to the free portfolio analysis service (detailed above) we do offer potential advice clients the ability to book a no obligation call to discuss their needs with our advice team should they meet our threshold.
In this instance it seems you were unaware of our threshold, you did book a call which we then contacted you and cancelled accordingly as you did not meet our threshold.
We understand that this has frustrated you, however Yodelar do offer many other free resources for investors that that do not meet our threshold including a monthly top funds report, fund manager league table, and investor magazine. We hope that you see some value in this service.

The staff and advisor at Yodelar are helpful and knowledgable. Initially I had concerns on delays in dealing with my requirements, however on reflection much of this was created by the pension companies I was contracting with rather than the Yodaler people

Refreshing Approach
I am new to Yodelar having just moved 60% of my portfolio from another advisor. I have dealt with a number of advisors over the years and have found Yodelar's approach to be refreshingly straight forward.

Transfer from IFA
Early days at moment so really commenting on initial deposit discussions and assessment of existing portfolio.
Found the team knowledge and patient as I took time to weigh up options etc and would even let me split investments between my existing IFA. However in the end I went with everything.

Great performance reports
I find the performance reports in the Yodelar investment magazine are such a great help in checking and even reassuring myself that my funds are on course and it also shows what sectors are probably best to avoid. Moving over to Yodelar was straightforward and really quite easy.

No regrets at all at the move to Yodelar
In turbulent market conditions I knew I had to re-consider my choice of advised investment platform in order to make the most of difficult conditions. I needed to reduce advice fees, and gain access to best possible performing funds. Yodelar gained my attention through their diligent analysis of 'most of market' fund performance, and when looking at their advice offering it quickly became clear that they could provide the platform I was looking for.
Transition to Yodelar has been smooth and their support team have been efficient, helpful and professional. Investment advice is well pitched as 'informed' rather than the clumsy approach by others to be your best friend.
It is too early to review fund performance, but I would be surprised if the move does not save me at least 1% on fees.
