helt forferdelig

helt forferdelig. Total scammers. I booked the gift (which costed a lot of money) and didn’t get what was advertised. Talked to the support-no help. Not recommended.

I've used YouWish as a customer and…

I've used YouWish as a customer and have also gifted their gift cards as gifts to others because I'm so impressed with what they have to offer. Had to recently contact customer service for an issue on my end, where really they could have told me it was problem and there wasn't anything to be done about it, but they were very generous, supportive and helpful. I'm looking forward to my experience that I've managed to rebook AND looking forward to using YouWish's services again. Great customer service and really happy they were able to help me.

Bad customer service

The giftcard could not be usedvanlig during the pandemic period related to infection conrol meadures. However, I did not get to extend the period on any of the cards I received as a 50 year gift. Inceedibly poor customer service. Will never use the service again!

Our gift cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase, and must be used during the validity period. When the gift card has expired it is unfortunately too late to be able to use it afterwards.

Availability information for activities?

It would be helpful if you could display dates and times for activities before you have to make payment. We were interested in dance classes in Oslo, but this required advance planning because we live out of town. We had to pay first and then hope that there was availability for our activity on a date that we could attend.

Excellent website, excellent customer service

Excellent website, very clear, easy to find anything there.

I still managed to make a mistake (I bought one extra item I didn’t need), and thus called the customer service: I waited less than one minute, explained my case to a very understanding and professional agent and immediately got a refund.

Couldn’t have gone any better.

I had to pay extra for the glamping…

I had to pay extra for the glamping night when I reserved so it wasn’t Very transparent

And the escape room - after booking and choosing the location- it turned out to be paint ball and not escape room

Arrange the gift yourself

Arrange the gift yourself. Not anymore expensive and much easier.
We were given a gift voucher for just under 5000 NOK.
I would think most of the good reviews here are by people buying the voucher, which is simple and sounds a fantastic present.
When it comes to using the card, it's a whole different ball game. This is the second voucher I've personally received from YouWish, and quite frankly it's nothing but hassle.
First you find something you'd like to do, go to, but you cant see when it's available yourself, book...everything has to go through YOUWISH.
For us, we wanted to use the 5000 NOK on a weekend away. Nearly all the so called weekends are just for 1 night only. The Copenhagen cruise, you have to leave Sunday, come back Wednesday.
We had a few mails with YouWish, about asking to use the voucher for a Friday and Saturday. No, this was not possible, we'd have to stay the 1 night, then pay for another package for another night. How utterly ridiculous.
I called Arendal Herregaard Spa & Resort and asked if they would accept our voucher (price for 2 nights was 4900 NOK and was the same if we'd booked ourselves online. They said no problem, and we were there 2 weekends ago.

Something very fishy, when YouWish will only let you use your voucher for 1 night, when you can infact stay at the hotels and they accept payment against your voucher.

My strong advice, book the experience yourself as a gift. It's easier, and you have much more flexibility.

You can only use a YouWish gift voucher to buy experiences on YouWish.no.
If you want a weekend you have to buy the overnight package you described two times.

The reason why so many customers are happy with their gift vouchers is because they can choose between 500 different experiences. We also have a pricematch, so the price with us is the same as the experience supplier.

We work only with hand picked experience suppliers and some of Norways best quality experiences.
Again we are sorry that you feel this way, and you are always welcome to contact us at customer service and we will help you the best way we can.

Great website

Great website, easy to navigate through, good selection of experiences.
This was not my first time using YouWish and it won't be the last :-)
I recommend it to anyone, who doesn't want to buy yet another object for any special day.
