I absolutely adore my pastel violet micro satchel! The quality is impeccable and I can tell a lot of love and care went into making this bag. I couldn’t wait to take it for a spin as soon as I unboxed it!

The customer service is even better. Theresa first emailed to confirm the details of my order just to ensure I ordered the correct size bag that would suit my needs! We then had an unfortunate mishap where FedEx lost my package upon arrival to the US (through no fault of Zatchels). I was devastated, and expected to be met with a “too bad so sad” response or a coupon at best, but instead Theresa and her colleagues in the workshop resolved the situation by re-making my custom bag for free and shipping it out ASAP using a different courrier! It arrived so quickly! Thank you all again! Highly recommend!

I recently bought a leather backpack. The leather is good quality, and I'm very happy with my purchase. The delivery was prompt. I received my backpack in no time.

This is the third Zatchels bag I have purchased now as they are just fantastic quality and value. Each one is handmade to order and come with a lifetime guarantee and as they age they just get better. This one was a wedding anniversary gift for my wife and was delivered on time as requested. They even put in a little leather heart shaped bag tag saying 'Happy Anniversary' which was a nice surprise and lovely to see someone had genuinely taken the time to read and care about my order

I wanted and needed (honestly) a new, classy, crossbody, saddlebag - but I didn't want black. I found Zatchels purely by chance! I loved the cuteness of the Sugarcube design and opted for the Plus size as I wasn't sure my mobile would fit inside the small size - even though the handy dimensions suggested that it probably would have fitted fine (More pictures on the website would really help this!!) I was honestly torn between Oxblood and Marsala Red (so close in colour) and eventually opted for the (I think) slightly richer toned Marsala. And I am not disappointed, it is gorgeous. I use it every day. I couldn't be happier. I even had compliments from my 2 daughters (21 & 16) so I must've made a good choice. Yes, the leather is stiff when new but I know it will soften and mature over time. The extra bits of care I especially love are the dustbag, certificate of authenticity & lifetime guarantee. They mean my bag was made with great care and skill and that Zatchels care about my experience as a customer. The Sugarcube is gorgeous and I love it.

Went into zatchels in York was looking at all the different backpacks and bags for men Tammy the shop assistant was very friendly very helpful and not pushy at all and explaining it was an independent company and made all the products based in Leicester with a few Staff of around five people
I like to support the independent retailers
I purchased a backpack, but I wanted the straps slightly longer. It was no problem. Tammy put the request in the small family company made them extra long and sent them out to me. Excellent service. At no cost to myself
The service in the shop to the aftercare was second to none which will prompt me to go back to the shop or order online 100% to have a tailored bag made

Great quality and fast shipping from the UK

The lady in store was very helpful ordering the bag for me as it wasn’t in stock. Other stores just say check online. It arrived in a couple of weeks and loved the colour and the quality. My only issue was I thought the shoulder strap was too narrow for the size of bag and as i plan to use as a cross body bag didn’t feel secure. Apart from that I love it and very pleased with it.

Zatchels are AMAZING! We ordered one of their backpacks for a special event my wife was going to, and had some specific requests. I reached out to Zatchels and was almost imediately emailed back by Brian, he confirmed they could do the requests we had made, and to just order the item from their website with a little note in the order comments. I did so, and waited for delivery. Unfortunately there was a slight issue with the shipping, and when I emailed Brian again he immediately called me to sort something out, it ended in my wife popping in to their workshop to collect the bag as we needed it for the next day, and she had a wonderful time meeting the team and seeing how the bags are made!
As for the bag... The colours were exactly what my wife wanted, the quality is superb, the care and detail that evidently goes into it really does shine through, and their service is exceptional. A genuine small business with a geuninely wonderful team, and a beautiful product. Could not be happier.
