Issue with communication at first, but problem was solved
The online service can be confusing and a bit misleading. There are a lot of upgrades and I would not knock a company for trying to make money but being asked over and over to upgrade is annoying. The worst part is that it seems to be AI run and the response time on emails is unacceptable.
I sent ZenBusiness an email three days after they formed my LLC asking them about my EIN and then I also called them days later after no response to my email. They said they had everything they needed and there was nothing I needed to do but the IRS had it delayed. I then received an email one week after my initial email stating that they needed me to complete an SS4 form and that they were going to then fax it into the IRS.. If they would’ve faxed it in a day or two after forming my LLC, I could’ve had my EIN already. Instead, they’re asking me to complete an SS4 form 8 business days after the formation and on top of that I was charged for expedited service.
Update to my review. It basically seems like there was some type of glitch in the system. I did receive a phone call back from a representative from the Cumby and he apologized for the mistake. The glitch was on the IRS side, but he did apologize for his team not returning the email and I actually did receive my EIN today. Overall, they did a good job and every now and then someone drops the ball but when you could apologize for it, things happen. I appreciate the follow up and professionalism. I would use the company again.
