Zezgo does not deserve a star

If zero stars were possible, I would give them.
Zezgo at Chania airport is unknown and not findable. Not reacting to phone calls also the broker Orbit does not react. After 2 hours of looking and asking around we hired a car somewhere else.
NOT RECOMMENDED!

SCAMMERS!!

SCAMMERS!!! The worst of the worst as far as ethical companies go. They will force you into purchasing their insurance onsite, even if you have personal insurance that meets all of the posted requirements in the pickup office. The staff is horrible, the cars are not maintained (the maintenance required light was on at the time of pickup), and the unexpected costs that you will be stuck with are exorbitant. These people are literal criminals. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! Like seriously, don't do it.

I didn't actually take the rental car…

I didn't actually take the rental car that I rented because of all the underhanded insurance up charges they tried to add. I rented the car through economy bookings that was my first mistake. It took quite a long time to get picked up at airport then when we pulled up it's connected to a cockfighting ring and was not super clean. This was in Puerto Rico and I'm so disappointed that this is how my vacation started. The staff that I talked with were nice enough while telling me all the add ones that I had to have so I told them I wanted to cancel. They at least did it on their end while economy bookings did not. Very unprofessional company. I should have checked their ratings first but Ive had good luck in the past with different rental car places. Would not recommend

do not rent

First off, they are so far from the airport it's not funny. By the time the shuttle pick you up and take you to their office, you could rent a car at the airport and drive to bush garden. !!!
They they want you to purchase THEIR insurance even though you have coverage under you own policy. Just a ripoff if you ask me.

I give them 1 start just because is not an option to give them 0, I need to talk to the managers didn't connect me to them, they never return the phone calls, overcharged and didn't want to provide a proper receipt with itemized items.

Optional Insurance Added Despite Providing My Own Coverage

I rented a vehicle from Zezgo Orlando (Rental Agreement MCOA01-73301) and was disappointed with my experience.

When I picked up the vehicle, I specifically informed the representative that I carried automobile insurance through USAA and provided my insurance information because I did not need or want additional coverage.

After returning home and reviewing my rental agreement, I discovered that a $99.95 Partial Damage Waiver had been added to my contract. I also noticed that my insurance information was never entered on the agreement, despite providing it at the counter.

I contacted customer service, explained the situation in detail, and requested a refund of the optional charge along with an explanation of why my insurance information had not been recorded. Unfortunately, the response I received appeared to be a generic form reply that simply stated the insurance was sold at the counter and that no refund would be issued after the vehicle was returned. None of the specific questions I raised were addressed.

My concern is not simply the cost of the waiver. It is that an optional product was added when I had already provided proof of my own insurance coverage, and my questions about how that occurred have gone unanswered.

I encourage anyone renting from this company to carefully review every line of the rental agreement before signing, even after a long day of travel. Verify that any optional products you decline are not included and that any insurance information you provide is accurately documented.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend renting from Zezgo Orlando.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Traveled so long! Then employee states my liability on my insurance is to low. I have a 100,000 plan. He wanted 500,00 plan so that’s 350$ more plus 200 security hold. I refused. He made us go outside and would not drive us back to airport. This is a scam!!!!!

Ashamed of Expedia to be part of the evil company!!
They are liars, thieves, and disgusting human beings!
No work ethic, no morals, just plain THIEVES.
NEVER, EVER USE THE CAR RENTAL ZEZGO! They are a true nightmare. They actually look you in the face and tell you your refund will be processed in 48 hours. Really????? NOT!
I no longer feel comfortable using Expedia, so I'm done with them as well!

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would. DO NOT go here! Do not waste your money.

They didn’t even come out to inspect the car when we picked it up or when we returned it. We made sure to take videos and pictures of everything because we didn’t want to be blamed for the existing scratches, damage, and stains that were already in the vehicle.

The pickup process was unbelievable. They literally opened a lockbox, told us how to turn off the alarm, and said, “Go find the car.” When we returned the vehicle, I specifically asked the employee if he was going to inspect it, and he said, “It’s all good,” without even looking at it.

Imagine my surprise when I got home and found an additional $250 charge on my card. Customer service was no help at all. Everything had to be handled through email, and they never even sent me a receipt—I had to request one after I returned home.

They then claimed the $250 charge was a smoking fee, stating there was a heavy cigarette smell and ashes in the car. This accusation was absolutely false. Neither my husband nor I smoke, and we had our two children (ages 3 and 12) with us during the entire trip. Why on earth would we allow smoking in a car with our kids?

I was furious. I called customer service, and they offered no assistance. I had to send additional emails and ultimately contact my credit card company to dispute the charge.

I would never use this company again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before renting from them. Also, beware of hidden fees. I originally booked the rental for $80, but by the time I picked up the car, I had already paid $252, and then they attempted to charge me an additional $250 afterward.

Save yourself the stress and rent elsewhere.

I had to dispute charges for the early…

I had to dispute charges for the early drop-off fee and fuel. I received the car with the fuel under half and was told that's ok. A missing cup holder cover and a dent in the car. I took pictures of everything. During pick-up, I showed a copy of my return flight info, 7:40 am, thinking I could return it before my flight, but the Zezgo Los Angeles Airport was not open, and as a result, I missed my flight. When I returned the car, the Zezgo employee took the rental car Keys at the (8:00 am opening time) and told me that I could board the shuttle. I did not receive a receipt showing what time I dropped it off.

Complete scam

Complete scam. The so called business looks like an old run down car lot. They're were hidden fees and the customer service was extremely shady. If booking through Expedia, please do not book this place. Be safe out there everyone.

Don't book this agency for car rental

I booked the reservation for 15 dollars per day. Then the agent said he needs to charge me 80 dollars per day for the accident insurance while I have my own car insurance and credit card for damage and loss protection. Just let this business f**SK off and out of business then.

Advantage Rent a Car via Zergo just…

Advantage Rent a Car via Zergo just charged me a $250 "smoking fee" when NONE of us in the car smoke, and there was no evidence of smoking when we got the car (my wife is sensitive to cigarette smoke, and we would have returned it). Despite my protestations, they will not refund. I think it's a scam for them to rip us all off. AVOID Advantage and other Zergo-managed car rentals in Orlando.

After arriving at Tampa Airport and calling to be picked up for our car that had fully been paid for through Expedia flight and car package, we were taken to a shabby office away from the airport and then told our insurance was insufficient to cover their vehicle. We were charged an additional $500.00 and then a $300.00 deposit to our credit card. It was evening and we had no other options, so we had to pay it. Expedia had to be aware of this scam and is obviously getting some kind of kick back from them. They should both be shut down for taking advantage of hard working people trying to take their families on a once a year vacation. Disgraceful!

Stay away from Zezgo! Zero stats!

Do your due diligence on a Car rental company you use called Zezgo.
It's corporate name is Corpusa rent a car. You show a 3.7 rating on them but the truth is they are a 1 star or zero if allowed. Check Trust pilot. Solid one star.
These clowns operate in Miami FL and there are hidden fees and charges they tack on without a hope of you getting a refund. The location is a dump and the car needed brakes, wiper blades and a good cleaning.
Please remove this so called company from your booking site!
They are on Travelocity and Expedia.

THIS WAS A HORRID EXPERIENCE.

THIS WAS A HORRID experience...just like the others on here. I was required to pay an "mandatory" insurance fee of $231. 46, which is over $40/day. I would give this franchise a O rating if I could. Most car rental agencies charge no more that $20/day, and is optional. The agent led me to believe this was a Florida law. This is ROBBERY! Furthermore, I provided my email address for them to send a copy of the rental agreement, which I have not received. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
