Irresponsible Zomato

Ordered food from Chinese Wok using Zomato and food was never delivered. After an hour of waiting, Zomato customer care told me that Chinese Wok is not giving orders and your money will be returned within 7 days. Zomato does not take any responsibility and continues with same restaurant partners. This is not first time therefore can definitely say that they do not want to improve and will always remain worst until permanently shut.

Zomato is Fraud and Ripped me 1670 Inr for nothing

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing with a deep sense of disappointment and frustration regarding a recent experience I had with your service.
On 02 July, I placed an order through Zomato from a KFC restaurant that was about to close. Unfortunately, due to a misunderstanding, I canceled the order within 60 seconds of placing it, believing that no charges would be incurred since it was canceled promptly.

To my dismay, the entire amount for the order was deducted from my account. Despite my immediate cancellation and multiple attempts to resolve this issue through your customer support, I have yet to receive any indication of a refund.

This experience has been incredibly disheartening. As a loyal customer who has enjoyed using Zomato's services for a long time, I have always appreciated the convenience and reliability your platform offers. However, the current situation has left me feeling frustrated and let down.

I kindly request your urgent attention to this matter. I genuinely believe in Zomato's commitment to customer satisfaction, and I hope that you will uphold this by promptly processing a refund for the amount deducted erroneously. Even the order itself shows rejected because restaurant was about to close.

Please prioritize this request and provide me with a confirmation of when I can expect to see the refund reflected in my account. Your swift action in resolving this issue would not only restore my trust in Zomato but also reaffirm your commitment to excellence in customer service.

Today I quit Zomato

Hi Zomato
Today I ordered food from Zomato from my address that I always use.
The delivery guy refused to come to my location saying the location ends where he is standing and wanted me to come there to collect order.
I told him all the delivery guy come to my door why will I come to a place which is far away from me. He stared talking rude and calling me again and again.
I talk to Zomato customer service he was forcing me to collect order from him, which I didn’t wanted to collect for security reasons I was alone at my home and feeling insecure with that guy. The customer service man said we will charge you penalty and cancellation amount if you will cancel. I said to him to cancel the order since I don’t want that person to come to my home. I asked for refund and also an apology for that mental stress I faced but no resolution done. I did chat with other customer care agent but no resolution done even she hang the call in between.
Hence I don’t want my money and no more Zomato.

Pathetic service - Bye Zomato Gold!

Pathetic service. No adherence to delivery timelines. Robotic replies on chat, app keeps increasing the time to show order "on time" for as long as possible even though it's 10+ mins late. After more than 10 mins delay, it actually starts to acknowledge that there's a delay. Pathetic tactics.

The delivery person Awadhesh Kumar for order number 5931008010 just left the food on top of the building generator in the basement/ garage of the apartment complex.

The food was gone when I went down.
Gave stupid excuses like "no lift, allowed nahi hai"(rubbish, I get deliveries to my door step everyday)when I asked him about my order and was unwilling to deliver it correctly. Just dumped it near the street, marked it delivered and left.

No refund provided by Zomato.

Worst delivery service ever

If you’re from abroad please don’t use this app it’s the worst app their drivers are so pathetic and rude. One driver did not deliver my order because he did not meet the target so I stood there for 30 minutes waiting for him to give me my order and then he just drove off with it. Try Swiggy instead! Much better service

Today, I ordered a pizza on Zomato at 11:25 PM, as the estimated delivery time was 25 minutes. Since my apartment security team doesn't allow delivery executives after midnight, I decided to order early. However, around midnight, Zomato revised the estimated delivery time to 12:16 AM. I contacted their support team to cancel the order due to this delay, but they were not willing to listen and insisted I accept the delivery.

After refusing to accept the order, they eventually canceled it. This experience was extremely disappointing, and as a result, I have permanently deleted my Zomato account. I will never order from Zomato again.

It's worth noting that I am a regular customer of Blinkit, placing orders almost every day, and I have never faced any issues with their service.

Zomato turnered greedy

This guy's have such a pathetic services ....just a way to earn money. I placed an order, and it was late ....I asked the customer care guys, and they mentioned that it is delayed because the delivery person is completing a group order and that's why it will be delayed....such a worst customer services....even though I had zomato gold membership they prioritize according to group and to whom from where they are getting more money....such a pathetic experience....will make sure I never use this application...guys soon they will bring advance booking charges and if you choose normal booking they will make sure you don't eat the food as they will delay the same and also will not refund any amount.....such a worst experience I had .....they are not here to serve but just make money ....soo sad....don't forget customers built business and customers can also bring your business down if you think you are the only player in the market....that's not true....will make sure non of my friends uses this app instead will will use alternate....and soon you will also go bankrupt unlike that edtech startup who never cared about customer experience

Compared to Zomato swiggy is more…

Compared to Zomato swiggy is more disciplined tips will be reflected to any partners it's not medals segregated but similar problem is changes but swiggy doesn't low the limit of partners and doesn't give long distance much when end of the day.
Stop order in Zomato even delivery partner nearby restaurants but they won't assign nearby person they allot long distance pickup partners,

Be careful with tip option if you tipped before next order again it will be default tick mark while ordering nd feed donation plz check this options.

Zomato worst they make partners frustrated by always cash on delivery orders partners difficult to routine changes and pocket limit. Actually Zomato has to help out with changes nd restaurant shud give change to partners.
