Zomato is a chor company. They are cheating the hard money earned of the common person. Even requesting multiple time to cancell the orderthey are saying no refund will be provided. Without my consent zomato is own cancelling the order. I will never ever order to zomato.

This is the worst app. I ordered from Zomato, and at the same time I also ordered from Blinkit. I clearly told both delivery partners to keep the order at my doorstep. I received my Blinkit order, but I did not receive my Zomato order.
When I spoke to the delivery partner, he said, “Main kya karu?” How can he say that? I paid for the order. When I contacted customer service, I did not receive any support or refund.
Very disappointed. I will never use this app again and I am uninstalling it.

I placed an order for 3 items, 2 days back on 20-02-2026, (food in train)to be delivered at Tiruchchirapali station. Just 5 mnts before reaching the station, I got a call from Zomoto saying 1 item not available hence it can be compensated with other items. But before confirming, the call got disconnected and by the time train reached station. Surprisingly zomoto delivery person is standing in front of our cabin with food. As per him, missing food is compensated by idlies to match the price. The packing doesn't look convincing. I requested him to see packings, but instead he was telling to show him Zomoto app as he wants to complete the order formalities. In view of above I didn't accept my order, as I felt unhealthy (even though i am diabetic).
After very long pause I started ordering with Zomoto but it ended up like this. I won't recommend Zomoto .....
Zomoto management please look in to the issue and try eliminate the gap, thus gain the customer confidence...

Good food delivered ontime. The zomato food delivery person, directly comes to the door and delivers food without much follow up. , provided we give them proper location. Thanks zomato for taking late night orders too.

Visited on 14th Feb (Valentine’s Day) to celebrate my marriage anniversary with family. Booked through District App by Zomato.
Ambience and space are good, but hospitality is very poor. Staff response is slow, no dedicated service, and faced uncomfortable behaviour (chair removed from my table without informing). Food taste is average and overpriced. Not child-friendly.
Major issue happened during payment — District app payment failed 4 times, but money got deducted each time. Finally had to settle with only 15% discount from restaurant. Very stressful experience for family outing.
Zomato support couldn’t help and offered ₹500 next booking coupon, which is not acceptable compared to the issue faced.
Overall: Good place visually, but poor service, payment risk by Zomato, and not value for money.

Zomato’s service has become absolutely…
Zomato’s service has become absolutely terrible. They assign one delivery executive to handle 30–40 orders at the same time. The app shows an estimated delivery time of 25 minutes, but after picking up the order, the delivery boy keeps roaming around because he already has multiple other deliveries to complete.
As a result, customers are forced to wait unnecessarily, food arrives cold, and there is no accountability at all. Who is responsible for this poor planning and mismanagement? Customers’ time and money are completely wasted.
Zomato has turned into a very irresponsible and misleading company. This was my last experience with Zomato. I will never use it again and am deleting the app today.

Do not use this app, all orders they delay and then just talk to there customer care, for refund they do not have policy. so do not place order with zomato if you do then wait for 30-40 more and cold food and empty stomach.

Thank you for the response from Team Zomato. However, I must clearly state that the claim “your issue is now resolved” is factually incorrect.
To put this on record:
I have not received a single call from any senior or account manager
No one has visited either of my outlets
No discussion has taken place to understand the actual problem
No confirmation has been sought from me before closing the issue
Despite this, the matter has been casually marked as resolved.
This is not resolution — this is box-ticking and false closure.
Is this how partner issues are handled at Zomato?
Without speaking to the partner, without understanding the business impact, and without verifying whether the problem has actually been fixed?
This response clearly shows that the system is more focused on showing work done rather than doing the work.
Mr. Goyal, partners are not just restaurant listings on a dashboard. We are running real businesses with real people, real costs, and real consequences. Ignoring partner voices and closing issues internally without validation is a dangerous practice.
This requires your direct attention. It cannot be delegated back into the same loop that caused the problem in the first place.
I strongly urge you to personally review how partner escalations are being handled before this gap between leadership intent and ground reality causes irreversible damage.
I am still awaiting:
A proper conversation with a senior authority
A factual review of what actually happened
Real corrective action — not assumed closure

Zomato is third class application and it very bad behavior as a human being because 17/jan/2026 almost 12:30 am i drop the Manish nagar to mihan but his paid me 70 rs. For one order....it bad behavior from the zomato side... zomato is not value for money and time......and I put this feedback on google also

I have never experienced a more disappointing delivery in my life. The food arrived over an hour late, completely cold, and several items were missing. What did arrive was poorly prepared, tasteless, and of extremely low quality, far below the standards one would expect for the price charged.
Equally frustrating was the Zomato app service, which was completely unhelpful. Attempts to report the issue or request a refund were met with no response or accountability, leaving me with no resolution. Between the restaurant’s negligence and Zomato’s unprofessional customer support, this experience was unacceptable. I strongly advise others not to order from this restaurant or rely on Zomato for assistance.
Pathetic Service
Ordered a cake that was spilled and was not tye design I ordered. Neither restaurant nor Zomato offer any satisfactory resolution. Spent thousand rupees on the order and what I got in return was just a two hundred rupees. On top of that, that too to be used within one month pathetic service on top of that they do not provide any actual agent to talk. Ruined our special occasion it was my father's 60th birthday.

Zomato has by far the best experience i have had with online delivery.
Some plus points i saw,
1. We can schedule orders which gives us the advantage to order food for future in advance if we get any good offer.
2. The voice instructions and photo upload option for delivery is helpful.
3. They show genuine delivery time. Unlike it's competitor Swiggy, it shows late when it's late and rarely i get late orders.
4. I got proper compensation for any trouble i faced.
5. Packaging has been good and service is good too. Also food portion is generous and zomato has literally exceeded my expectations a lot of time. So i am very happy using this app .
6. It gives great discounts as well.
7. I wish i could schedule a week later. Till now it's just 2 days. Hope they increase scheduling time.
