Scam and NO customer support

Failed customer support, Scam hosts, buggy App. The company is a failure as a whole.
My host messaged me to wait and collect the car the next day from him just 30 mins before pick-up. This by itself isn't right since I pay right from the pickup time. Since I booked for 14 days I have no option but to agree. On the next day the host said he is cleaning the car to be picked up. The moment I start to pick up, the host's wife calls and say their aunt passed away and couldn't deliver the car. During all this time I tried reaching out to the customer support with no success. The trip began in the app and I had to initiate delivery. No it's show I picked up and delivered the car the next day. My payment is stuck for a service I didn't use and had a huge inconvenience.

Zoom car is a day light robber

Zoom car is a day light robber. My host Jagabandhu Sahoo in bhubaneswar is a big cheater . The tyres of the car provided to me was in miserable condition and two tyres got burst during my ten days trip. Before changing tyres I took consent of the host ( Jagabandhu Sahoo) but he didn't pay me when I returned the car . As I have to catch the flight I couldn't argue with him and it took me a month to get the attention of Zoom car and they refused to help. So for me it was an additional cost .
Never ever take Zoom car and especially from host Jagabandhu Sahoo who is a liar and big cheater.

Worst experience, will be filing it in the court of justice

The customer started the journey on 20th aug and returned the car on 5th sep around 3:00 in the afternoon in a miserable condition.
The right and the left door of the cars are damaged completely with dents like someone met with an accident. The car strictest has changed completely.
The car has dirt and dust stains all over the car with mud in the car floors.
The car smells like petrol in every corner.
The window of the last seat was broken and the customer has changed it, beacuse there are glasses found in the bottle holder next to the seat also tapes were stuck on the window so that the glass doesn’t falls off. I removed the tapes that were stuck on the car for the mirror to hold it.
The car seat cover are all pale and black in colour.

I have taken pictures and videos of all the damage that is done to the car and have already raised a ticket on the Zoom Car portal on the same day the guest returned the car.

Same request if have submitted from the Guest phone while I went to pick the car durning the checking out time.

I have raise the ticked on 5th Sep at 6:00 pm itself when the guest returned my car but I haven’t heard back on this yet.

I have pending bookings on Zoom car for which I will have to provide my car to the guest.

I received a response from the help support section saying that I will be notified once the ticket has been raised. It’s been 3 days already but I haven’t heard back yet.

They forced my sister to walk to the car pickup point or they would charge her. They also recieved a email from economybooking.com that the flight was delay and said they would charge her $60 more because she was late.

Zoomcar spoilled our birthday plan

Its my husband’s birthday & i thought of planning a surprise for him so i booked flight and hotel tickets. Last thing I was planning was hiring a car to make our experience comfortable. So i booked @Zoomcar_India unaware that i cannot book it for someone else. They made me pay the whole amount beforehand and since I was certain about my trip I dint bother about the cancellation policy which only said 50% refund 6 hrs before cancellation. But here comes the interesting part. They make you book the car on @Zoomcar_India without any prior verification and when you book it and think that everything is done from your side, then comes the KYC part. If you dont have a license you will end up wasting your money. I mean this is 2024 where we have a liberty to cancel any booking if you have made a mistake or if you were unaware about the certain things about the portal. I went to the customer support of @Zoomcar_India and there it said you cant book it for someone else. FYI this was not mentioned anywhere on the website apart from the customer support on @Zoomcar_India . When i tried for their customer support number guess what such reputed portal only has robots to answer your queries instantly and you can reach an executive only after 24 hrs. Which is still uncertain. So here i come up with few questions from @zoomcar. Is this your propaganda of taking customers money without verification? Why is this not done before booking the vehicle and paying for it? How does the refund policy works for the customers who has made a booking by mistake? Why is your customer service so poor @Zoomcar_India . Why is this not mentioned on the website that you cannot book it for someone else? They just want to loot the customers. I need answers. And ofcourse my refund as i am raising this about a week in advance of my booking date. @Zoomcar_India The worst part it dint even ask me to sign up and put all my details along with the documents there. So i can still book a vehicle as guest id and then after paying for everything it will ask me for verification. This is so pathetic and worst online platform i have experienced

They are cheating the car host by the…

They are cheating the car host by the hidden charges and bad service by zoom car... When initial booking was cancelled by the guest, the hidden charges are levied from the car host even it was clearly mentioned as guest pickup. Zoom car is nothing but cheating.

Our new car got stolen

Our car got stolen on oct 23, we have raised multiple IT tickets and contacted service desk number several times but no one responded. We went to office in bangalore so many times no one responded. We are paying EMI monthly, can you please think once how hard to digest these kind of things. am still waiting for my car from past 10months, still no action has been taken.i request you all please don't attach your cars to Zoom.

Recover My Stolen Car

Hello,
My car was stolen by one of your customers on July 15, 2024. It has been two days since the incident (ticket ID - 2034751 and booking ID - #JPSNJW9WN), and I have not received any updates or progress on recovering my vehicle.
The car was found at two tolls, displaying different number plates: MP09ZT1073 (Original No.) and GJ02DE5490(Fake No.), indicating that the number plate has been changed. We reported this to the police, but no FIR has been filed.
I personally visited the last known location of my car, 100 km away from my drop location, last night, but found nothing.
I urgently need my car back. Please take immediate action to resolve this matter.

Worst, fraudulent car rental platform

Worst car rental platform and fraud platform.

I have booked a kwid automatic for 5th July 3pm. First of all there is no option to contact to their customer support staff which is a very bad thing. They have included everything in ChatGPT which is completely useless features.

When I reached at the location which was available in the booking details there is no way to find the car. No host deatails came to me before my booking time. When I tried to call the host it was not reachable.

I don’t know how people are entertaining these type of fraudulent platform.

They have taken the booking money. Now I have to struggle again to get the refund amount.

Don’t book in Zoomcar ever please

First and worst experience with…

First and worst experience with Zoomcar, Bhubaneswar (Host Jagabandhu Sahoo)
- I had nightmarish experience with Zoomcar but still in my name review is written automatically with 5 star rating.
- There's zero support service and no way you can get to them.
- I was given a bad maintained car whose tyres got burst and I had to pay from my pocket to replace. I had full insurance coverage, now I am running after Zoomcar and host to get my money reimbursed with zero response.
- Deserve a zero rating and would never recommend Zoomcar to anyone.

Worst experience ever new world thieves will be better description for Zoomcar. Didn't got car. They were not able to verify the profil and also didn't return money back. There is no way whatsoever to contact them and especially if you are NRI forget it. Just never get into this trap.

Zoomcar Poor Customer support

Hi,
Like many other people I came to know about zoomcar which lets you host their car on rental. I had heard about zoomcar before and thought it’s a known brand and expected that it will be good to try this concept and ertiga is my family which isn’t daily used so I planned to host ertiga on zoomcar.
Initially it was working fine and then I got exposure zoomcar customer support which was working through chatbot which has very limited and than I came to know that host cant speak with customer care there is no call center.
Adverse effect of this kind poor customer support I have seen in first week of May. Around 9pm on 7th May, Vehicle was give to a guest for a zoomcar ride and around 9am on 8th May, I was informed by guest that there is some issue with clutch of my car and it is not in driving condition, so he has informed zoomcar and leaving my car as per instruction of zoomcar. Their was no information from zoomcar how this situation will be managed. I had spent whole day (8th May) with zoomcar trying to ensure that vehicle moves to workshop but its didn’t happened and than I had tried the same on 9th May , I had tried to explain on mails and contacted readyassit (zoomcar vendor) for movement of my car to workshop almost every 30 to 40 mins. It was very difficult time for me since the vehicle was lying unattended for more than 24 hours. On 10th May, I started getting calls from people where vehicle was standing unattended for so many hours and they have asked me to move vehicle from location immediately else they will file police complaint and vehicle will be ceased. Till that time it was more than 48 hours and still vehicle wasn’t moved by zoomcar to workshop. Just imagine my situation, my vehicle costing lacs of rupees are lying unattended on the mercy of zoomcar. Finally I took support from Maruti onraod service and vehicle was moved to workshop with in 1 hour.
Finally when zoomcar people called and when I explained the situation they assured me that my issue has been escalated and I will get all support from zoomcar now.
So now the situation is that I have paid repair cost of my car and zoomcar isn’t responding on my request of payment of repair cost even after many reminders.
On otherside zoom car had paid Rs. 6,852 for this trip (Booking Id JPSNJJ3J0) and they have issued debit of Rs. 22,089 in weekly payouts from 6th May to 6th Jun 2024.
Hence zoomcar has left my vehicle unattended for more than 48hours than didn’t paid for repair cost till now and issuing debits in weekly payouts. Which is quite unbelievable. I doubt if any person who owns a car will be ok with zoomcar for this kind of situation. So far there is no resolution on Ticket ID: 2002103 & 2008916, which gives clear impression that it’s a biggest mistake to trust zoomcar for hosting your car. So please never ever trust zoomcar for hosting your car because they don’t have proper ethics and system to deal with car owners.

BOYCOTT ZOOMCAR

I have been using zoomcar for quite a number of years. Their services have deteriorated continuously over the period. My recent experience has been nightmarish. The worst part is they don't have any customer support. You can contact them only through some limited chat options to which they say they will get back within 24-48 hours, regardless of how urgent it is. It is the same for even zoomcar hosts! This time when I was booking a vehicle, On the day of my travel, I had to book 4-5 vehicles as everytime I booked a vehicle and called the host, the host said that the car is not available. They didnt have any option to cancel my booking or to show that their vehicles are not available. We pay for insurance but the host doesn't have any option to claim for any damage. Several cars are not in condition which zoomcar actually claims to have. And u learn all these things after paying for the vehicle and when cancellation will coat u large some of money. There are several other reasons. Cannot write so much. I have vouched to myself that NO MORE ZOOMCAR.

Pathetic car renting app

Bulls*** car renting app, if you write on the social media, it issues a refund rest all people are fools.

I also booked zoomcar, could not authenticate through their app, tried reaching to their customer care but could not, and lost 50% of my money, will never ever use this app and told all my companies colleagues not to use this app.

Got scammed on zoomcar by host. Blue Maruti Baleno - KA02MQ0826

I booked a Maruti Suzuki Baleno, blue color with registration no. KA02MQ0826. My trip was supposed to start at 10pm on March 28, 2024. Around 9:45, the host Nagesh called me and asked me when I will reach to pickup the car. When i said that I will reach around 11pm as I had some work to finish before leaving, he started shouting at me that I cannot pickup after 10pm and that he will not give the car to me after 10pm and that the booking will be cancelled. Then he said that he sent me an OTP and he needed it to start the trip or else the trip will be cancelled. I fought with him at first saying that I don't want to give him any OTP as in my past experience with zoomcar this has never happened to me. But he started threatening that the trip will be cancelled and he cannot give the car to me so late. So after much fighting I gave himt he OTP. Around 10:06pm I received a message from zoomcar saying 'We have cancelled the trip as per your request'. When I called the host and asked him if he cancelled the trip he said that it was cancelled by Zoom car. Clearly he was lying. I also did not get any refund as the trip was cancelled very late. I lot around Rs 9000/- because of this fiasco. I am writing this as a caution to zoom car customers.

They don't know anything about running a business

Booked a car and they won't let me pick it up because they don't accept my license or passport.
There is NO customer service. No phone, no chat, no email, nothing.
Won't refund me either. I really, really, really hope this company gets sued big time!

Oh, and the email that Trustpilot sends them emails on actually doesn't exist. So they not only don't get our emails, but also TrustPilot's emails.
