Thank you for your review - we appreciate all reviews irrespective of rating. We are of course sorry that your experience with us was not what you'd hoped.
Zoomcover policies , in line with the vast majority of the temporary insurance market, are non-refundable. This is pointed out to you in the course of your purchase, and means that customers should only buy the cover they need.
In the old days of insurance (prior to online trading) when everything was paper-based, insurance policies could only be cancelled once the certificate of insurance had been returned to the issuing company.
Online trading has made life quicker and easier for all of us, but the sending of certificates electronically means that temporary insurance companies cannot rely on certificates being returned, and this is behind the no refund policy that we see across the market.
Sorry again that it didn't work out well for you this time.

Fast and easy service

Fast and easy service. Would recommend if borrowing a car from somebody. Cheapest I could find online too.

Watch out for the admin fee they charge on top of the quoted price very mis leading

Whilst we know the customer is always right we are struggling to understand your comment to be frank. We always show the total price, including the admin fee, and we feel we are far more transparent about this than most of our competitors, many of whom charge higher fees and are not always as up-front as we are at displaying them!

Very bad and useless cover i took cover…

Very bad and useless cover i took cover and brokedown on motorway . Phoned the recovery and they said its not covered (Breakdown) but its written in paper thag i am cover waiting on the motorway since long and trying others

Thank you for your review. We were very sorry to hear of the long delays you experienced at the hands of the breakdown providers - we believe they have responded to you separately.

All Zoomcover policies include breakdown cover provided by Call Assist. We have put processes in place with Call Assist so that they can validate policies 24/7 from their office with no delays, and we have also agreed a contingency plan with them in the unlikely event that they are unable to do so.
We understand that this does not help much in your case, but we hope that going forward it will ensure that your experience is the exception rather than the rule.

I paid for insurance to start yesterday and still not active…

I paid for insurance to start yester day and I I’ve had no email and it’s shows uninsured online and the mony has been took

I needed a policy to cover for 3 days…

I needed a policy to cover for 3 days for which I paid but unfortunately the cover I needed got brought forward a week I tried everything to contact this company but only available through email so I bought another policy through the same company and explained the situation hoping my initial policy would be refunded but was told as I found out after sending 2 emails I need to give 29 days notice even my initial policy hasn’t even started yet I personally would avoid this company unless you have fixed dates

Our policies are non-amendable : once they have been bought they cannot be changed.
