They are horrible

They are horrible, how did I go from 45.00 to almost $80 a month! Man I must have went off on those people. Left and right. Romeo the rep was so generous with his help! If it was not for him Xfinity would have lost a customer!

People watch your bill closely. Look at every line things maybe added and you don’t even know! And just because you set it on AUTOPAY doesn’t mean still everything is ok! Look and read you Xfinity bill guys! You never know!!!!!

They often raise their prices with no additional services being offered. And God forbid you have an urgent question regarding your account because the automated system will do everything in its power to avoid giving you access to speak with a human being. When you do get transfered finally they give you someone across seas who you can’t understand and then they get upset that you can’t understand them. Been a customer for about 15 years and the price just keeps rising with no added service. With as much money as we pay monthly we should get the assistance we need when we need it.

Extremely Disappointed

Extremely disappointing experience. We went to an Xfinity store only to add home Internet, but a separate mobile account was created under my husband’s name without us knowingly requesting or understanding it. We later discovered that we had been paying confusing and inconsistent charges on separate accounts.

When we returned to the store, we were told that the employee who handled our account no longer worked there and that the current employees could not resolve the issue. The store sent us to Customer Service, while Customer Service kept sending us back to the store. No one has taken responsibility or provided the actual proof showing that we knowingly authorized the separate mobile account.

We eventually switched to Verizon because the billing and customer service problems were never resolved. We formally dispute the remaining balance and are still requesting the original order, authorization records, and a proper investigation.

I was provided two phones 6 months ago in what they called free. Please note nothing from Xfinity is free. They are trying to chage me a warranty fee of 99.98 plus a deactivation fee. None of this was told to me upfront. Please do not fall for their lying tricks. You are better off using another company such as Tmobile or Spectrum for wifi service. Tomorrow I will make a change.

Xfinity Treats Loyal Customers Like They Are Disposible

We have been Xfinity internet customers for eight (8) long years of their constant games. And we got a new phone and added Xfinity Mobile two (2) years ago.
Every year, they force you to negociate as they try to squeeze money from you while offering new customers the sweet deals. This time, they decided to not play and their best offer to continue with their silly approach to create loyalty was an offer that would increase our bill by 70%. I guess they think I'm bluffing.
We closed Xfinity Mobile yesterday and ported the number to Tello. Next week, I will  sign up with T Mobile Home Internet that gets great reviews. There is a 5g tower about .2 of a mile with direct line of sight, so the signal should be excellent.
Comcast can pound sand and as we leave their poor approach to their best customers behind.

Goodbye and you will  need much luck.

The issue is their problem but if they can’t figure it out in one visit, they charge you $100 for additional visits. It’s absurd that their system fails and they expect you to pay to troubleshoot it. And when you’re on the phone with them trying to get your Internet back, they’re trying to upsell you. It’s a racket.

I have called three times for the same problem and no resolution, this last time this idiot has the nerve to ask me to put father on the line for validation I can speak on my father’s behalf, but have spoken to 2 people before him, who I had advised that have permission to speak in his account and should be a notation on his account… I don’t what is going at Xfinity it’s like circus there… I have my father discontinued his services with this unorganized company,

ASSHOLES

Went to store to turn in old box. The salesperson or whatever you call them said he could save me some money because I hadn't updated my account in a long time. I told him to do it and knocked $50 off my bill. The next day I turn on my tv and some of my channels including HBO are shut off. Why would they do that. I didn't tell him to turn off anything that I already had.

This company continuously raises its prices

This company continuously raises their rates without informing the customer. This is the third time this has happened in 5 years. Tried to talk to a customer service rep that spoke broken English and tried to bully me into paying this new price $40 dollars more a month than what I had been paying. When I expressed my displeasure at this they tried to tell me I "signed up on a promotion" which isnt true cause I don't shop promotional deals or anything of the like. When I expressed that I wasn't going to pay $124 dollars a month for rather poor internet, the service rep tried to hand me over to the cancelation department. 0/10 would recommend this service.

This is the biggest dogsh*t excuse for…

This is the biggest dogsh*t excuse for a company. Ive had them for five or more years. Throughout that time I've experienced a couple of nasty things.

1. Auto pay; never use this service. They pulled $8,000 out of my account for a $79 monthly internet bill. They refused to do anything if I hadn't kept calling them nonstop.

2. Current and ongoing fight with their mobile department. I had ordered a phone for my wife and set it up through xfinity. They didnt add the new phone to my account correctly and I was being charged for multiple accounts at the same time. I received a bill in the multiple hundreds and when I called to resolve it the first four xfinity employees told me to ignore it that it wasnt mine. Fast forward a couple of months and it goes to collections which again I was told to ignore. Six or seven agents later im told that they will take care of them problem. A month goes by and they deleted my ticket and the collections agency keeps calling me. Im through with the bs and will be canceling all of my services in the very near future.

Was in the Southfield store a year ago…

Was in the Southfield store a year ago to start service at a new home. They mislead me on the installation details which lead to a week long issue and 3 or so calls to cust serv to get a $100 service tech visit refunded.

A year later/this week, I opened the app to pay the $60-a-month-for-5-years price that I agreed to a year ago (and have been paying for a year) to see that my bill jumped $60 up to $110!!! 4 cust serv calls later and my bill is STILL NOT FIXED. The store screwed that up too and put me in a yearly promo vs the 5 year deal. Cust serv refuses to honor what I was quoted a year ago *or* give me the same $60 promo that they are still advertising for new accounts today. Cust serv only kept quoting higher payments vs just fixing the bill to the correct plan.

NO ONE WILL FIX THE ERROR THAT WAS CAUSED A YEAR AGO *OR* HONOR THE $60 FOR 5 YEARS DEAL.

I pay my bill on a monthly basis

I pay my bill on a monthly basis. I set up my payments towards the end of the month. They come right out of my account unfortunately they turn off your service before that date comes and they won’t turn it back on until you make your payment. This is bad business customer should be coming first whether your payment is late or not. Your service should not be terminated if you’re sending up a payment by the end of the month, whether it be 52 days behind which is not cause I make my payments every month they just refuse to turn your service on until you make a payment which like I said before as bad business I have called corporate. I have called the vice president of the company. They need to change their customer service status and they also need to change your policies. They are the worst company in the area in Pennsylvania. I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody.

So glad I made the switch from Xfinity…

So glad I made the switch from Xfinity to AT&T! My internet has been more dependable with only a couple outages (lasting only 15 mins tops) this year so far...it is near the end of July now!

I remember the days of wasting countless hours on chat or on the phone just to reach no conclusion only having to do it again the next day. The monthly bills that were 5x's what I pay now!

Dependability, price and customer service are all things xfinity needs to work on. You can only sucker so many people into low introductory prices for so long. The deal breaker is when you have your customer service team fail miserably at any issue you bring up.

Gone are the days I have to stress over my Xfinity bill...and moreover, their lackluster customer service. I keep seeing adds from time to time and for a split second I remember how fast their internet was when it was working. But then I remember their horrid customer service, the astronomically high prices and service outages. No thank you!

I'd rather have slightly slower internet speeds than deal with Xfinity again.

Xfinity is one of the worst companies

Xfinity is one of the worst companies I’ve ever had to deal with. I canceled them long ago but recently had to help my elderly parents because they bill for a TV and Internet went over $300! I called to try to get them in a better plan and after talking to two different angents for a couple hours , we finally found a plan that worked for them. We told them exactly what channels they watch including the NBC Bay Area sports. They kept trying to sell me more Internet than they needed. Over a week later, I found out that my dad was unable to watch baseball games, which he always watched on the MBC Bay Area sports network. They had also turned off TCM. So today I was on the phone for 1 hour and 20 minutes and had to get them another plan! After we confirmed everything, TCM still didn’t work. So they transferred me to technical assistance and I was on for another half hour. Xfinity is terrible. Horrible customer service and agents that don’t know what they are selling. Only try to push mobile service and upgrade on internet.
They take advantage of the elderly and probably a lot of other people.
