I sought out Becki from XL Finance on a strong recommendation from a colleague. As a first-time buyer, the process seemed nerve-wracking and daunting at the outset. However, Becki was a friendly, encouraging and helpful guide through it all and she made it a lot less painful and stressful than it would have been without her! On a practical level, she took me through step by step and was always willing to answers any questions I had. Sometimes I e-mailed her questions in the evening, not expecting her to respond until working hours the next day, only to find that she’d reply later on that evening. She is clearly very dedicated! She did sterling work in finding me a lender and securing me a mortgage, finding a way to smooth things out and reach a compromise with the lender when my application was initially declined. She made sure she found me a deal on mortgage payments that was better than anything I’d been able to find on online mortgage calculators. She also found me solicitors. Throughout it all she balanced practical good advice with a cheery friendly manner. Hence, I’m very glad to have had her onboard for the process (and very grateful to my colleague for recommending her!)
