We bought 3 office chairs from Yaheetech via Amazon. 3 months after receiving the chairs, all 3 had broken. The issue was that the gas lift had failed on all 3 chairs. Once sitting in the chair it slowly went down to the lowest setting, which means you are lower than the desk. We keep having to stand up, reset it, sit back down and the process starts again.
We complained to yaheetech via Amazon messaging and asked to return or replace the chairs. They refused the return/replacement as their 30 day window had passed.
However, in The UK all consumers are protected by The Consumer Rights Act 2015. After the 30 day full refund window has expired, the consumer is entitled to a replacement, repair or partial refund, if the product is not fit for purpose. In this act is a section referring to quality. Durability forms part of this, of which 3 months use, is not considered to be durable and therefore renders the chairs as “not fit for purpose”.
Furthermore, as I paid by Credit Card, I am covered under the Consumer Credit Act 1974, which also states that I can make a claim against the seller for faulty goods for up to 6 years after purchase. After the initial 30 days, the consumer can expect exchange, repair or part refund.
As Yaheetech continually refused the Amazon return/replacement of the chairs and would not communicate with us at all, they have contravened both UK Laws.
Eventually, Amazon refunded us as a good will gesture. They are obviously fully aware of UK Law.
Very poor service from Yaheetech, no communication, basically hiding, not answering Amazon messages, emails, phone calls that went strait to voicemail, ignoring the voicemail messages, requesting a call.
Thank you Amazon for sorting it out for us. I hope you penalised Yaheetech accordingly.
Furthermore, It seems, looking at the reviews, as long as the item is perfect and in working order, customers are happy. However, there seems to be a recurring problem, that they do not respond to problems or complaints and prefer to bury their heads in the sand!
We all have problems in business, no one is perfect. But it’s how you handle the problems, that determines if you are a good Company or not. Yaheetech, by their actions have proven themselves to be a BAD Company. I will never buy from them again. My advice is avoid this Company with Vigor!

I bought two chairs from them through Amazon but was not happy with the quality. After two days I contacted them, they arranged collection but no one showed up. Tracking details they gave it said “ parcel no longer needs collecting” when I informed them they asked me to wait till 7PM. I waited but again no show. Subsequently they gave another day for collection but same story no show. Now telling me to book collection for some other day. I don’t trust them anymore. I had to take a day off from work but courier never turned up. Very disappointing. All I need is refund. They are a scam. Never buy anything from them.
Independent store working via Amazon and direct sales. Do not answer any emails to their support, their support phone numbers goes to a "message box full" message and their chat does not work.
Bought a basketball net that is just cheap and broke within 3 weeks no way to contact them to resolve this
