Since my car was totaled in an accident by a red light runner I have been searching for a new vehicle. I went to Prescott Valley Kia and found a wonderful car, a K5. The service was amazing. Very friendly staff. Our salesman was Gerald and he couldn't have been better.

Yelp Advertising WILL RIP YOU OFF

The advertising is very expensive. On top of that, they sell you so many things that do not make sense. For example, you have to pay $4/day to $6/day to make your business profile look better. You have to pay to show your business logo and bla bla bla. Do not waste your time and money. Advertise your business on Google search and Google maps.

Yelp is an unethical business - THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF

Yelp is an unethical business that scams small businesses.

Yelp offered me a $150 credit, so I signed up to try them out. They only gave me $10 of the credit and help the rest back to apply at a later date - who knows when. The sales team at Yelp lied about click through rates, and about how the billing works. There is no way to print off your monthly invoice.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH YELP

I have personally found Yelp to be very difficult to work with. I only gave them 1 star because I had to be that generous to leave a review. So glad I didn’t give you a cent or a dime. Good job with your reviews Yelp!

Business Owners BEWARE - SCAM Offer Rip Off

Yelp! pitched us (and it seems a lot of other businesses) this great offer of $300 in advertising to "try" it out and see how wonderful it is. Right. What they don't tell you is it's per click and they way overcharge you. That credit is a joke, you won't make it one month. Then they just start charging you like crazy. It's a total rip off and so CLEARLY misleading businesses on purpose. They pitch you this great, no risk period, but unlike other companies that offer a certain time period (which is what you're expecting), they scam you because they ENSURE you can't make it even a month without going over their "free" advertising amount. When we called the operator had absolutely ZERO cares to give, clearly she gets this a lot as a complaint, and pretty much told us you can cancel now but we'll never refund the previous amount (which we only found out about because we reconcile the statements and caught it). When we asked to speak to a supervisor, she straight up told us no, that we couldn't but she could drop us back into the main queue and we could try our luck with a different agent. Are you kidding me? This is how Yelp! runs their company and customer service. You literally have no recourse. What a terrible company with an absolutely abhorrent business tactics and ethics (or lack there of).
To top everything off, we got NOTHING out of the money we spent. No increase revenue or customer contacts, so not only do they rip you off but their advertising doesn't work.

DO NOT TRUST YELP!

Called to find out how to utilize coupon offering $300 worth of advertising credit. They walked us through the steps to do so. To our dismay, we started recieving bills of over 1200 per month. We had no idea this was going to happen!!! Yelp would not offer refund. It was a total scam!!! Our credit card company refunded us in total and is going after Yelp to collect!!! DO NOT TRUST YELP!!! Better Business Bureau has thousands of negative reviews about this scam.

As a small business Users I warn you to not use Yelp service ads. In 30 days I was charged over $400 from that company without getting any visible traffic onto my website but still they’ve been claiming over 200 clicks on my business page. When I asked for a refund even partial it was denied. To avoid any surprises stay away use google, Facebook or instagram ads way more reasonable and honest. So disappointed.

Dark day at the Holiday Inn on Blackfoot Trail

This has taken me a while to sit down and write but, it has to be said. Last November on the 18th 2020 I was working in Calgary and my associate and I were staying at the Holiday Inn on Blackfoot trail, I was up early that morning and went outside at about 6:30am to drink my coffee and relax before shift started at 7:00am. I set out the main lobby doors and noticed that the parking lot was mostly dry but there were sheer ice patches all over the place, it was about -8C that morning, I decided to go start my truck and walked over got it running and noticed my windows were a bit dirty so I exited the truck and walked over to some clean snow grabbed a hand full to throw on my widows, as I stepped back towards the truck I miss judged some ice and down I went, I landed hard and knocked the wind out of myself. I laid there for a minute and then tried to get up...nope. I looked down at my left leg and it was twisted badly so at that point I know I have a problem. My phone in the truck and I cant stand up I decided to drag myself a couple of car lengths to the vehicle to try and get my phone, I couldn't get up so I laid on the cold pavement until my associate came out at 7:00am(about 25 minutes). Once he arrived I got him to go back to the lobby and ask to have an ambulance called which the hotel staff did, my associate then came back out to me and we waited for the EMS to arrive...nobody from the hotel stuck their head out the door to see what was up, I laid on the pavement in shock on going into hypothermia for almost an hour before the EMS arrived (a blanket sure would have been nice). I was taken to hospital and prepped for surgery, a 10" pin was installed into my leg not quite at the hip but close enough to call it a hip fracture. I stayed in hospital for a week, my family wasn't even allowed to come be with me during this event. Months later I have now spent hundreds of hours trying to get my leg back to being useful.....the biggest kick is I've never heard from anyone from the hotel. I have stayed at many hotels over the years and all of them keep their property safe or at least identify hazards for their customers...not this place, your credit card # is about all they are interested in. I now sport a turned in foot and a limp that I don't think I'm going to get rid of. This has impacted every aspect of my life and not in a good way. I would recommend that if you have any health issues you might want to find some where else to stay, I don't think you would receive much help from these people if you needed it....stay safe!

rober-like scamer

Jan. 6 2021, a lady (Adesuwa Onaghinor) from Yelp made a cold called to me and told me that she can give me 3 months free trial to try out their service and help me to enter information on the website. She guided me to enter information and click buttons in order to go to the next screen. But after 3 weeks I got charged over $450 on my credit card.

Feb. 2, 2021, I called the support and complained about this matter, and after 10 days they replied me that they will not refund me because she already guided me to enter information.

Immediately I cancelled everything from Yelp. But, on the first day of the next month, they sent me another email and said I still owe them $53, and asked me to update credit card information.

Offered me $300 in ad credit

Offered me $300 in ad credit.
Then sent me a bill for $232 two weeks later. $23 of credit was used.
Refused to refund.
$232 for 6 clicks is an insane CPC
It didn’t generate any income for me. Not one call or email.

YELP IS NOT REPUTABLE

YELP IS NOT REPUTABLE
YELP IS NOT REPUTABLE! DO NOT HIRE BASED OFF YELP REVIEWS! YELP allowed a person I never met to put up a fraudulent review and they would not take it down. I never met this person as I was in COVID quarantine since March yet they allowed his nasty review to remain up. I am 65 years old with emphysema and have not met clients in person. Yet they allowed this fraudulent review to remain on their website. This person was mad at me for political views I posted on Facebook. He then went and slandered me. The other 2 websites have removed this fraudulent review but Yelp has not. Yelp only allows positive reviews to stay up if you pay to advertise with them

Rona Building Centre Trail BC excellent service

Rona Building Centre in Trail BC went way above and beyond in customer service.
On September 7, 2020 an electrician working at my house needed a few electrical supplies. I went to Rona for the required items but the power was down at the store. The staff was kind enough to allow me to take the items home in spite of the absence of electronic check out ability.

Please do not waste money on yelp ads

Please do not waste money on yelp ads. Had a very bad experience with Yelp. Yelp ads completely failed. Mitchell Woody from Yelp ads offered me to test run for a week provided a credit of $150 and assured me that I will not be charged beyond that amount during the test run and he will review the performance after a week. I was monitoring the performance. I did not get any lead and they billed me $245 in 5 days. I immediately stopped the ads and took my card off. I called Mitchell several times but he never picked up, left voice mail - never got a call back from him. No review done after a week, Sent several emails- no reply from him so far. And the worst thing, today I received a call from Carlos for recovery of the amount and threaten me that they will send claim to debt collection agencies. In my 10+ years of digital marketing career, I never had such a bad experience. I had a very good rapport of Yelp in my mind which is now totally zero. They always email from "the Yelp Customer Success Team" which is a big lie. Totally failure.

I wish I could give no stars

I wish I could give no stars. Yelp enjoys threatening me to pay for advertising or to give the names of competitors because they're a better use of their time. They then expect me to fall for their sham of a company and poor sales pitches with their over inflated egos. They've also pulled down a 5 star review as they deemed it, "not worthy" of a review. That makes a lot of sense. I'm sure they pulled down the review out of anger when I chose to not spend hundreds of dollars a month for the chance of a possible few additional clicks every month. Not to mention they keep calling with more questions after I continuously tell them I'm not interested in paying for advertising on their site.
