Unhelpful Customer Support – Very Disappointed
I had a very disappointing experience with YollaCalling's customer service, especially with a representative named Markus. I asked for my recent call log history, but they refused to provide it. Before denying my request, Markus asked me to send a screenshot of my account, which I did. I also showed that the call logs on the website only go up to two years ago—nothing current. Even after providing clear proof, Markus was unhelpful and still refused to assist. I don’t understand why I was asked to verify the issue if they weren’t going to solve it. Very frustrating and unprofessional.

So far, so good. I have made a few calls from Portugal to Australia without any problems. The only concern is that the receiver sees a call from Florida, which makes them hesitant to answer.
The customer service has been great, speedy to reply when I raised this concern with them. This can't be altered, unfortunately. Otherwise, happy to recommend

However, one of Yolla’s key advantages is that it allows you to reach phone numbers in areas without stable internet, or when calling a basic mobile phone. In other words, we connect directly to the user’s SIM card — unlike internet-based messengers, which you may have compared our app to.
To successfully complete a call, the SIM card on the receiving number must be active, within coverage, and not blocked. If your call didn’t go through, the number was likely unavailable.

Recommend if calling landlines!
Downloaded Yolla due to the ending of Skype. It was the only option I found that would call a landline. My mom is 94 so no learning new tricks for her!
I had some issues with connection so emailed them. Marcus answered within minutes. It was a bit of a fix but he kept in touch until it worked. My connection is now clearer than anything I have ever used in the past! I would highly recommend them!

I was calling from the Philippines to America. It was easy to use. I didn't have to dial 20#s first. The calls were connected quickly. Sound quality was very Good. My call got dropped 3 times but that has happened before when dealing with customer services. My last call lasted for 24 minutes. all calls were good quality. I will use Yolla more often it makes my life easier n affordable.

My experience so far has not been positive at all.
I charged 5$ for the first time, aiming to call landlines as they advertise it, and I was never able to make te call go through.
I contacted customer service several times , they said they had fixed the issue but when I tried to call again the call didn’t go through.

After Skype there is this app Yolla which is cheap and fast and fantastic. Not all people have Android or iPhone or WhatsApp, so Yolla is filling the gap. I wish you success and growth. I searched all over and you have almost no competition at the moment!

actually the 4 stars is for the customer service, not for the service, as the service been stopped for no reason and i couldn't make any call, however, support team tried to their best, but ate the end when i asked for refund they done,

Very MISLEADING rates on the website
Very misleading rates on the website. Calls on mobile phone to Poland advertised as "from $0.025/min/", but when I topped up my Yolla app account, it turned out that my call to Poland mobile nr was being charged $0.119 - this is more than 4 times more expensive that the "start from price" on the website. I contacted customer service and the agent kept explaining that the website stated the price was "from" certain rate- I understand that, however, the final price was 4 times higher! I don't know if other Polish mobile nr are any cheaper, as I have checked quite a few of them and I always got the same high price. This is very misleading and aiming to create an illusion that you will get cheap calls. I am going to use all my credit and delete this app, as I think they are not being transparent with the customer. On the positive side - the customer service replied quickly.

We suppose you used a non-European number, so the prices were higher. The fact is that the tariffs for European numbers are significantly lower than the tariffs for non-European ones (we are talking about calls within Europe).

One particular landline number was not reachable. I received always the same automatic answer "Sorry, your personal number is/was blocked". I do not have "personal number", and the recipient was not blocked. The Yolla Help Desk was not able to resolve this issue.
