terrible. the call quality is poor, no one can hear me and I can barely hear them. the service is just excuses and apologies. A number I called repeatedly from my phone and then tried with my pc suddenly was flagged as "special" and not part of the Yolla calls program. They boasted they could replace Skype, but they clearly cannot. I will use up my credit and hang up on Yolla.

Totally unreliable - useless service
Totally unreliable .Every time I have tried to use this app the call either does not connect or drops out after a few seconds. This happened in Indonesia and now in Spain. Support could not help, they offered various suggestions which did not work and even said I needed to try and use another network. Unfortunately being stuck in an airport does not allow the option to use another network, I have tried several different networks in Spain and the same problem occurs. The whole idea of using YOLLA is a backup for emergencies when What’s App is not an option. My friend a tried to sign up with YOLLA but gave up as payment would not accept. Skype was amazing but YOLLA is a complete dud

When you enter a number in the dial pad or call a contact from your list, the exact per-minute rate for that number is shown before the call begins. This is done to ensure transparency and avoid confusion.

I thought it was just expensive buuut these people do not keep your data safe! ever since I signed up, I got scam and robot calls! they clearly either do not protect or are knowingly selling customer data!!! get quoted in USD...then charged in euros without any conversion....ripped off there. send SMS of 320 characters....it said 2 SMS and I get changed for 3. this happened 3 times! reported to customer support...NO help! terrible terrible service.

You mentioned doubts about your data security. Please be assured — we store personal data securely and in accordance with our Terms of Use (https://yollacalls.com/en/terms-of-use/).
You stated that you're receiving unwanted calls. Please note that Yolla is an app for making calls, not receiving them. The only call you might get from Yolla is a verification call during initial setup, and only if the SMS couldn’t be delivered.
Additionally, we can confirm that your data is stored in encrypted form and can only be transferred as part of processing, only if necessary and only to reliable partners. All this is done in a secure way.
We are very sorry that you suspect that your data is being sold, but Yolla has been a reliable application for hundreds of thousands of users for over 10 years.. If there had been any violations on our part, our application would have been deleted immediately.
Regarding SMS issues: there's a technical limit of 255 Latin characters per SMS (the same as when using regular SMS from your SIM card). If you use Cyrillic, Arabic, or other non-Latin scripts, the message length per SMS is roughly halved, which can lead to your message being split.

Good support system, but Yolla software is poor.
First of all, I want to make sure that I am not complaining about your team’s support. I had exchanged emails with your team 21 times without success. The issue was that I could ring without sound transmission after connection. We finally gave up and got Rebtel which worked all right. Yolla obviously have system problems with my iPhone 14. Is software update available? Again, your team member’s effort was great. The software is so poor.

Subscription Glitch
I was a brand new Customer/Subscriber to Yolla in May of 2025, and after the first month of having a subscription for 200 minutes of calls to the United States, my subscription seemed to have vanished, and I wondered why it hadn't renewed for the month of June. I contacted Customer Support, and was always greeted politely and with a sense that they were eager to assist and problem-solve. Eventually, after sending CS a screenshot of how I was unable to click on a link to view my subscription or further subscription options--so that I could re-subscribe--CS looked into the glitch, corrected it, informed me that I could proceed, and even gave me a small credit for the inconvenience! I was so pleased with the result, as well as the overall CS experience. The problem was resolved quickly, and CS kept in contact with me throughout the process. Many thanks!
