COWBOY’S & LIARS!!

COWBOY’S & LIARS, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!
Dreadful company, purchased a new Tourne Motorhome from them in April 2025.
Yorkshire Rose sent us on our way knowing full well that the vehicle had no import licence and therefore road tax had not been applied for. The owner Scott told us verbally in front of staff members and in also later in writing that all paperwork had been done and would be in the post very shortly.
COMPLETELY ILLEGAL & OPENLY LIED TO US
Chased Scott for weeks, always got excuses and lies, when he could be bothered to reply.
We finally contacted DVLA and HMRC (Customs) as we were planning a trip abroad, both government departments told us no documents had been completed by Yorkshire Rose!!
Got more excuses when we confronted them with our findings.
Had to wait a total of 9 weeks before our vehicle was UK Road legal. These idiots have put us through an enormous amount of stress and worry, with no offer of any financial compensation from Yorkshire Rose.
We outlined our financial loses to Scott over 6 weeks ago, and guess what, we are still waiting.
Have had to resort to emailing Tourne direct to get paperwork etc that Yorkshire Rose promised they would send us months ago. Completely useless!!
Suggest you avoid and buy elsewhere, awful company and terrible owners.
Not happy putting 1 star on this review!!

DO NOT BUY A TOURNE FROM YORKSHIRE…

DO NOT ** BUY A TOURNE FROM YORKSHIRE ROSE MOTORHOMES. We bought ours in April 2025 and have had (and still having) problems for months: terrible communication; diabolical customer service; unprofessional; Scott gave us our van with NO tax & unregistered making us ILLEGAL!!; we waited 9 weeks for him to get it legal; it was sat at our home and we couldn't use it. Constant lies; excuses; broken promises of compensation, got nothing still waiting months later; no proof of warranty & no service book given for months after constantly chasing. Most of the paperwork is in foreign language so don't know what it says. Amateurs who don't know what they're doing. We're absolutely fed up with constantly chasing Scott and getting nowhere. Eventually we contacted HO in Slovenia who gave us more information and paperwork in 3 days than Scott did in 4 months! (Still waiting for our promised compensation for financial losses & stress anxiety caused by them).
STAY WELL AWAY from these cowboys and buy a Tourne from someone else (p.s. we love our Tourne it's a fabulous campervan, sadly our bad experience has dampened our spirits). You have been warned. August 2025.

I have found the whole team at…

I have found the whole team at Yorkshire Rose to be very friendly and focused on customer service. I would recommend them to anyone.

We love the Motorhome we have purchased and we made the right decision to buy off them.

Everyone knows there is a good margin in a sale for them, but it is worth paying as you can buy with confidence that they will make sure you have a quality product, with MOT and warranty and a place to go back to if you have any issues.

When we upgrade in a couple,of year time, we are going straight back to Scott and the team.

Absolutely love my Motorhome thank you…

Absolutely love my Motorhome thank you yorkshirerose, all staff there were so helpful and very friendly, I would recommend anyone wanting a motor home to consider this small family business, from start to finish it’s been a pleasure to do business with you. A special thanks to Jamie and Courtney for making our dream come true. Thank you. 🥰

We'll take good care of you, it's a promise?

My encounter with this company began at the Peterborough Caravan and Camping show, I was on site with my newly acquired Rapido motorhome having used it only once previously. Although it was in immaculate and faultless condition it had a “French Bed” which was a nightmare to get in and out of, I am seventy nine and we were regretting it's purchase solely for this reason. The newer Rimor Koala exhibited by Yorkshire Rose with its centre bed seemed therefore to be an answer to our discomfort, although the vehicle condition overall was not as good even though it was newer.

Despite being offered six thousand pounds less than we paid a few months earlier for our Rapido, we foolishly agreed on a part exchange on condition that a damaged cushion was replaced or repaired and a user manual obtained as there were no manuals whatsoever. Once they had my money, the promised return phone calls didn't happen and the promised replacements never made, furthermore, several undeclared defects quickly came to light. Every knob or switch had a dymo label on it, which suggests it may have been a hire vehicle, though they expressly denied this.

I can only assume that the good reviews came from buyers such as the one who bought my immaculate Rapido. On the same day of exchange it was on their website, complete with photos, for two thousand pounds under list price so I'm sure they were delighted and gave a good review. If buying from Yorkshire Rose, make certain that your purchase is in perfect condition and thoroughly research it's history, because customer care is non existent once they have your hard earned money.
