We booked a short-term rental in Berlin through Your.Rentals (listed on Airbnb). The apartment was completely misrepresented: wrong address, a run-down former storefront next to a bar, with mold, exposed wires, no privacy, no fire safety, and only one key.
There was even a 1x1 meter hole in the bathroom ceiling, leading to a room above with a bathtub and a window facing our kitchen. We had no access to that space — which means someone else must have. That’s a massive safety and privacy concern.
We left after 15 minutes, used nothing, and immediately contacted Airbnb. They acknowledged the issue and partially covered our hotel costs. Your.Rentals, on the other hand, refused to take responsibility or issue a full refund, despite full documentation and the fact that we never stayed there.
Worse, they stopped responding and are clearly stalling until the review period expires.
This is not a professional platform. There's no accountability, no transparency, and no guest protection. They hide behind Airbnb and leave others to deal with the damage.
We will be reporting the listing and the company to Berlin authorities.
Avoid booking with Your.Rentals at all costs.
Update – August 2025:
Your.Rentals has replied here with a generic statement, but I have already contacted them multiple times with full documentation: timestamped photos, location history, and hotel receipts proving I left the property after minutes and never stayed there.
One of the most serious issues — a 1x1m open hole directly above the shower, leading into another room we had no access to — has been dismissed by them as a “private area.” This is not only irrelevant, it is a clear privacy and security breach.
They have refused a full refund and repeated the host’s statements without addressing any of the documented facts. The case is now reported to Berlin Ordnungsamt, and complaints are being prepared for the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet) and the European Consumer Centre (ECC).
This is not about expectations — it is about guest safety, misrepresentation, and accountability.

Don't waste your time using them as a channel manager. While VRBO has them listed as an integrated partner, VRBO refuses to connect with them, and I see why. Also, other than PayPal, they only use Payoneer that is expensive and not customer friendly. They do not give you the option to use Wise that is way cheaper and customer friendly. They are also extremely inflexible and unhelpful to the needs of their customers.
