Beyond 🧡 this App, my choices of 'Healthy Options' were dictated by packaging, not anymore! Yuka has certainly cleaned up how I now choose to eat...To Julie & the team - THANKYOU

Have had a positive experience so far…
Have had a positive experience so far with Yuka TV I have a 24/7 representative that helps me out with all my watching needs named Dani. Delightful gentleman to deal with and always had the answers in looking for. All around good experience would recommend Yuka and his services to my friends and family.
I wish this app was around when I was…
I wish this app was around when I was younger. It's very informative & I love how it breaks down all the additives & what is harmful to our bodies. Extremely smart this team who created it. Let's do better food companies with all the crap u insert into our foods that can causes so many issues. Thanks again Yuka myself & my family truly are grateful
HORRIBLE and INACCURATE!
HORRIBLE and INACCURATE!! Either this app is just clearly disorganized or there's too many hands in the pot. I got a funny feeling that companies are paying them to advertise their products. Do not rely on their information. The ingredients of these products are inaccurate and simply not true. They are misrepresented.
A great kick start on health awareness
I just discovered this app 2 days ago. I just cleared out my bathroom cupboards today based on its rating system & went to my local whole foods and got 100% rated bathroom products. I already feel way better just cleansing my cupboards. My body is next & im excited to have YUKA to guide me along the way in my reset health journey. It’s not perfect and there are a number of items not in the system especially as they are small businesses here in Australia however if I take some general guidance from this app I believe I’ll be leaps & bounds ahead of most unknowing consumers. Thanks YUKA 💛 my dad donated $20 happily today via my app membership!
Unreliable ratings that change
I bought several boxes of Suntan lotion based on the 100%rating and recommended to friends. It’s now just been re-classified as 24 out of 100 and bad, there have been no changes to the ingredient. I appreciate this is a guide, but write ups in relation to the ingredients should be correct. Getting this wrong discredits the this App.
Good app in general!
Yuka has changed my life and I have reaped the benefits
Yuka was founded out of a deeply personal experience. Benjamin Suchar created the app after his young daughter fell ill, and he discovered that many of the foods and personal care products they trusted were actually full of harmful ingredients. Rather than staying in the dark, he took action and built Yuka to help people make informed, healthier choices by easily scanning product barcodes and seeing what's really inside. Yuka isn’t about scaring people,it's about empowering consumers with the knowledge to choose better for their families. It is a tool for transparency that forces companies to improve by revealing the truth behind their products. The goal is simple: healthier lives, healthier products. If the ratings aren’t what some want to hear, that is because Yuka is about honesty and sometimes the truth isn’t always easy. But we deserve it. We deserve to know what’s in our food and on our skin. Yuka’s transparency is the kind of tool that we need to shift the market toward better, cleaner, and more ethical products. Well done Yuka!!
as a biogerontology
as a biogerontology, cell and dermatology scientist of 27 years promoting health and wellbeing this is such a incredibility useless Ai app its so inaccurate and misleading its dangerous avoid it like the plague do you own research on line of things to get correct and true answers DO NOT TRUST IT
Know that Yuca app doesn’t take into…
Know that Yuca app doesn’t take into consideration if a product is a GMO or an Ultra processed foods ! They rate the product on Nutritional Value and ingredients used not the process of making the product.
He’s an example they rate Utz Pretzels as Excellent along with other products that have Enriched flour. All products with Enriched Flour are considered Ultra processed foods ( GMO)and also they have no opinions on the use of Seeds oil and when they rate products with seeds oils they rate them excellent as well. Anyone who’s knows anything about seed oils knows there ultra processed (GMO) . The oil reputable seed oil is Sunflower oil.
So use Yuca at your own risk and good luck geez !!!!!
Totally changed my shopping
Amazing app, helps a lot. I have a free version. Shocked that some children's products have sweeteners and other harmful additives. Wish companies would stop doing this.
Yuk app?
This app. is ok for some information that human intelligence can gather at their own convenience. But artificial intelligence fails when it comes to comparing. It can't give information on cumin, brown sugar... regardless of brand. Some are reviewed and many are not. One star because human intelligence is way above artificial intelligence. Healthy is different in AI.
After scanning many food items in my kitchenette, information is quite useful, comparing is limited. But for human intelligence it was not quite transparent, in general. Little use, but enough to stay installed, for now...
I scanned Tesco Romaine Lettuce
I scanned Tesco Romaine Lettuce, it told me it wasn't vegan because it contained chicken. Quite obviously, it is just a lettuce. I have sent them a message on Instagram, left a review on Google Play and a comment on the app.
They have not replied.
I’m Obsessed ! 😀
I love this App . In fact I’m obsessed . Ok some people will say that it’s inaccurate reading some reviews but it’s your own personal opinion on what you purchase and it can be used as a guide to check ingredients especially food related . Nobody can dictate what you buy but it can help in a good way , so people be positive and give it a try .
Any source that says fragrance/parfum…
Any source that says fragrance/parfum is risk free shouldn't be trusted.
Gave up when a packet of quavers crisps…
Gave up when a packet of quavers crisps rated 60% and a packet of 20% beef was rated 30% extremely wrong. So anyone says eating crisps is healthy than eating fatty meat needs to be sent to prison for manslaughter.
No very accurate scoring about…
No very accurate scoring about chemicals in cosmetic products. I am a chemist and I decided to test the app by introducing a new product with several essential and organic oils in it. The app gave it a bad scoring for having all the essential oils as low risk and one high risk chemical, compared to a well known cosmetic brand in the market full of chemicals, which it scored as “good”. How could this be possible? I will try other apps for comparisons.

I love the Yuka app
I love the Yuka app, it’s easy to use and helps me to make healthier choices and omitting one’s that have hazardous substances.
I am so disappointed
I am so disappointed. I need to be sure I'm not going to make my skin condition worse and knowing this app would help I was looking forward to using it to find better product. I tested the app on a product in my home and the scan didn't respond. There is no tech support and yes I did agree to allow it to use my camera before I finished the download. How insulting. Nowhere in my search for support did it give any help, only the insulting comment that I needed to turn on the camera. Implying that I can't read instructions? That I'm the problem? Please just fix it.
