Very unplesed to have been charged liftgate for a small sink probably less than 30lb.

We choose to ship items like sinks on a pallet to ensure they arrive safely and without damage, but unfortunately, freight carriers require a liftgate for any palletized delivery. Our goal is to keep our product prices as low as possible rather than "hiding" shipping costs inside the price of the equipment. In many cases, we actually subsidize the shipping costs to keep them affordable for you.

I would like to clarify the communication timeline, as we remained in constant contact to resolve this for you. I personally spoke with you on the phone and responded to your email on April 20, immediately after you first reported the issue. Following that, I sent a follow-up email on April 22 to keep you updated on the status of our investigation.

Our records show that the original order was dispatched as a complete shipment. Because there was no report of a damaged or tampered box, we had to conduct an internal inquiry to understand what occurred. However, understanding the urgency of your timeline, we prioritized a solution and processed a replacement order for the missing items on April 24.

While investigations involving third-party logistics can take a few business days to finalize, we made every effort to keep you informed throughout the week. We value your business and took these steps to ensure you received your items as quickly as possible.

Zanduco is in it for money not customer servicee

Spoke with a Sarah Hirst explained the dimensions and that we were after a pop fridge and that the owner didn't speak English well, she claimed the fridge we were after didn't exist. A fridge was sent, dumped off in a parking lot during a busy lunch hour rush. Customers were in disbelief. When attempting to get an Exchange as the fridge we discovered we wanted did exist, the GM Fahad Javaid is just as useless, refused to do an exchange and get us the right fridge that should have been delivered from the start. Everything about this company works in their favor and not the customers, when they are in the wrong they point fingers everywhere else but to their own mistake. Now we are stuck with a useless fridge when they could have simply exchanged it for the correct one that was more money.

We take all feedback seriously, but we must clarify the facts of this transaction. While you mention a different fridge was desired, the owner explicitly requested in writing via email to remove that larger unit from the quote and proceed with the lower-priced, smaller option that was delivered.

We fulfilled the order exactly as it was approved in writing. Regarding the return, we cannot accept an exchange for a unit that has already been used and is missing its original packaging. Furthermore, our delivery terms were clearly communicated as curbside; inside delivery was not included in the agreement.

We offered a solution involving a restocking fee per our policy as we cannot accept used equipment for a full exchange, which was not acceptable to you.

While we always strive to resolve disputes fairly, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding unruly or unprofessional behavior toward our staff and will only continue this conversation in a respectful, professional manner.

Avoid this company

Avoid this company. From the sales team all the way up to the top manager they choose to operate with bait and switch tactics. The head manager Fahad said directly on the phone, "prices are subject to change at ANY time, even after placing an order with a confirmation" this is completely insane. Even after receiving a confirmation they will cancel your order and charge an entirely new price for that item. Lying about stock issues, multiple confirmations from employees in error, significant delays in fulfillment, it goes on and on and on. Nobody at this company will take responsibility. Zanduco, as you can see below has replied to this review. The response is complete lies. I spoke directly to the CEO of the product manufacturer and he assured me support was available in the US, the fact the CEO actually picked up the phone, not once but twice to discuss their product was incredible, Zanduco chose not to mention the manufacturer of the unit I ordered because they knew the product had glowing reviews and is one of the best available. Zanduco continues to lie long after the initial purchase. Again, avoid this company with every fibre of your being.

In response to your second reply. I ordered, you accepted AND took payment. I wanted it, I requested it and yet, you still choose to do what you thought was in your best interest. Multiple different stories at the time from multiple different employees as well as Fahad. You knew you sold it without factoring the new tariffs, and you chose to save yourself instead of taking the loss and keeping a customer. Don't try to re-write the story when Fahad himself admitted to me they mispriced the unit and that's why they couldn't sell it. Zanduco will lie, cheat and do whatever they can to extract profit at any customer expense.

In this instance, we made the professional decision not to fulfill the order for the original unit due to concerns regarding the supplier’s reliability and future support. Regarding the alternative discussed, our General Manager, Fahad, stepped in specifically because the unit you were interested in would not have carried a valid warranty in the U.S. Selling equipment without a valid service warranty is against our company policy, as it leaves our customers unprotected.

We offered a premium alternative (Hobart) to ensure you had a machine with nationwide support, but we respect that it did not meet your price point. We issued a full refund for your purchase. We stand by our decision to prioritize product reliability and warranty coverage over a quick sale.

We would like to clarify the facts of this situation again. When you ordered the Jet-Tech dishwasher, we were facing significant uncertainties regarding that manufacturer’s distribution and long-term support. In an effort to help, a team member suggested a Thesis unit as an alternative.

However, our General Manager, Fahad, stepped in specifically because our dealership agreement for that brand did not cover US sales. While you noted the Thesis CEO’s stance, the reality was that our specific units were sourced in Canada and would not have carried a valid manufacturer warranty for you in the US. Selling you a machine without a valid warranty would have been irresponsible.

We offered a premium Hobart unit as a reliable, fully-warranted solution, and when that was not preferred, we issued a full refund. We stand by our decision to prioritize your long-term service support over a quick sale.
