Site not Free
All they wanted to do was sell me sounds. Only wanted the free one and nothing was available. Very hard to use the site unless you want to spend lots of money

Stewart - all our sounds are free, over 100,000 of them. Were you clicking on the "mp3" button to download? It sounds to me like you were clicking on the wrong button to download.
ZapSplat's the place for your sound effects needs
I am only dabbling with video and animations for a hobby, so building up a sound effect library moreover is just a pain. Having so many effects available, and for a fair fee if you're inclined, is gold!

Easy to find the stuff I'm looking for. Plus they have a bunch of sounds and it's almost like you never run out of sounds to use. Highly recommend.

In the several years I have used this platform ZapSplat, I have never had any copyright issues and I have received a lot of good reviews because of the royalty free MIDI waves and sound waves that are provided by other users that can be mixed and added together to enhance the video performance and experience!
