Do not use Zelle

Do not use Zelle. You end up risking losing your bank account. If for whatever reason even without due process, nor any legal proceedings, determined the funds being sent to your bank is "suspicious" your bank will close your bank account and hold onto your funds for months on end and you will not receive that funds that was sent by Zelle. My transaction was very innocent, at a veterinarian's office for my puppies needing medical care, monies received from a long friend, which became extremely invasive, interrogations, calling the sender and then coming back declaring that I am conducting business and/or fraudulent activities and therefore we are closing your bank account. Without a single notice, evidence, investigations, auditing, or whatever. This is frightening and scary and everybody needs to be notified of this as this more than likely will happen to you. If you are like myself who has money in their accounts then I ill advise you to not use this kind of service anymore. These banks, conspired to create a mechanism that bypasses regulatory bodies within the financial institutions, that supersedes your constitutional rights, guilty until proven innocent. Im still picking up the mess. Plus, you dont get that zelle transfer anyways. I have a reputable bank, that isn't an overnight bank so just imagine what can happen to you. Zelle themselves refuse to intervene and can care less of their overreach of authority without the legal authorities to do so. Simply put, a civil forfeiture without due process, legal counsel, without a trial, without government interactions and oversight. Be very careful what you do when using that companies services.

Refused to let me make payment

Refused to let me make payment to my sister in law. Apparantly sending her money triggers some security alert. Good thing it wasnt an important bill.

Worst thing is no one can tell me why I cant send my sister in law money. Thats apparantly a secret, all my bank could do was apologize that they do business with these useless idiots. Just use your credit card.

Zelle is the absolute worst service…

Zelle is the absolute worst service when it comes to the safe transfer of money. They have absolutely no customer service and their only remedy is "call the bank". Useless. Completely useless. Get ready to lose those funds if you decide to use them.

Zelle SUCKS

Zelle SUCKS. I’m apparently not entitled to send money using Zelle. I have Navy Federal, and they called me about potential fraud, I confirmed it was not, but my Zelle is still suspended.

Spoke With a Lady named Jasmine (Zelle Rep). She was very rude when I was verifying my account. I gave her my name and she said that’s the wrong name. I said can you verify my account in another way and I gave her my account number. She said we have no business accounts with that name. All of that just because I didn’t give her my suffix. If you don’t want to deal with people just find another Job. I will be using another money transfer service because Zelle customer service is terrible! Good luck people

Zelle put my receiver's phone number on hold for no reason

Zelle put my receiver's phone number on suspension. In order to taking off the suspension, representative from my bank need to send me a code to the phone number I have. All phone numbers in my family couldn't be used for this purposes. So I was directed to the branch. I know the reason was phone number is under my husband's name. When the suspension is removed, I go back home to complete the transaction. Unfortunately, my profile is on hold. I have to go through the loop hole. I had to escalate the issue to talk to a bank superviser to get properly resolved.

8 days to send $40

8 days to send $40. Might as well drive to the person and hand them the money. Zelle == Corporate buffoons. I'll insist on other forms of payment from now on. Zelle is a creation of a conglomerate of US banks so no surprise it is the way it is.

Zelle makes things harder not easier

Zelle makes things harder not easier. Write a check instead. Just simply transferring a Christmas gift to my nephew has turned my life into a nightmare. It said on my Banks website that it think this is fraud and to call a number and be on hold for many hours. A complete waste of time and energy, Zelle shouldn't exist.

Gave me the runaround

This liar just said he’s transferring me directly to someone at my bank(who I already confirmed is not who I needed) just to have been transferred to another general line. Useless and I hope they lose every company partnered with them. Waste some more time!
