Stranded with family despite following all the instruction…
Despite following all the instruction and calling them that my flight will be delayed there was no help in communicating to the supplier. They asked me to contact Centauro at Mallorca that my flight is delayed which i did but Centauro did not pick up phone so informed that I can not reach to the end supplier and emailed the same. Ended up as a stranded family at midnight to 4 am in the morning. The emergency number at zest was also not picked up at around midnight by them. Zest also refused to pay for the taxi charges. Overall horrible experience !!

As this is a standard procedure for Centauro, we make sure to include these details directly on the collection information provided prior to travel, ensuring customers have all the necessary information to make arrangements in advance. While we regret that the local office was difficult to reach and that emergency assistance could not assist further at that hour, we were unable to cover additional transport costs as these procedures were not successfully completed. We can confirm that a refund for the unused day was processed back to your payment card.
We are truly sorry for the frustrating start to your trip, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a smoother experience in the future.

Zest saved my holiday!
Recently on holiday in Portugal and stupidly booked my car hire along with my flights and was let down upon landing and had to take a taxi to my accommodation late at night.
Did what anyone would do - hit the internet to find a replacement car, and after reading many reviews trusted Zest to help me out, and yes they delivered.
For a very short notice long term rental a reasonable price, simple process, easy to understand what was/wasn’t covered and above all a very reasonable price.
Arrived to collect the car and was greeted professionally by Henrique from MasterKings. He was very diligent with the paperwork, ensured the car was clean and ready to go, explained the process clear and didn’t make me feel like an estrangero who was there to be taken advantage of.
Thank you Henrique for saving my holiday with your great service and thank you Zest for making it easy to book 2 weeks of car rental at 10am on the day I wanted the car!

Poor customer service
Paid over £1000 for hire of a 9 seater during our time in Portugal, but the vehicle only had air conditioning in the front of the van. The rest of the vehicle was sweltering and despite several requests, Zest offered no solution, advising they were the broker only.
This was highly unsatisfactory in 30+ degree heat with two children under 6 and two passengers in the vehicle.

Really good service. The only thing that let it down was that the car was not ready when we arrived.
The car was really clean and tidy. Scratches were pointed out and written down. The customer service was very good on pick up and return.

Clear Information and instructions
All the information and instructions about the car hire was clear and the actual pick up of the vehicle was swift and hassle-free. The price was competitive and we were able to secure a better vehicle from our usual car-hire service.
