Not the same Zinus they used to be…

They’ve changed their mattresses, and not for the good.
I’ve purchased several Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam mattresses through the years and the last two I’ve e recently bought you can’t even sleep on without waking up in pain ( if you even get sleep). They sink immensely wherever you lie, creating a significant ridge wherever there isn’t any weight. I have absolutely loved these mattresses in the past as it always felt like you were sleeping on a cloud! Now, I’d rather sleep on the couch. What happened to the quality??

Worst customer service I have ever experienced

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I received an email on February 11th, informing me of "delivery onboard" and expected on that day. Waited hours but didn't arrive. Waited another 24hours before i contacted the company only to get a generic response without addressing my issue. My tracking number was made up so no way of tracking my parcel. Over 48 hours since my email complaint and I still have no idea where my item is. I get the impression that companies like this one don't think the laws apply to them.

Great service in New Zealand

I dealt with the Zinus NZ team regarding replacement parts. While I was originally advised that parts were unavailable, the country manager stepped in and quickly remedied the situation. Excellent customer service - impressed!

Oh, and quality products that were a breeze to assemble!

Didn't even last 1 month…

Within 2 weeks the mattress had large dips and valleys. I am 215 lbs and it was like sleeping in a trough. Probably the worst mattress we have ever had. To add insult to injury, in order to make use of their "warranty", we needed to find a place to donate it to, schedule a pick up and then send the receipt to Zinus. Who knows if they will ever even refund our money. Do not buy a mattress from here.

worst experience ever

worst experience ever. delayed the delivery for 5 days and ended up loosing my package. i had to keep trying to reach to the delivery company as well as the Zinus brand itself, however, the brand has no contact with its customers. now i am trying to get a refund and hope that at least they will be able to give it to me without any further issues or escalation of the situation. pick any other brand but not this one;( save ur time and energy!!

All or Nothing

Purchased a sofa set from Zinus earlier this year. One of the chaise ended up being defective after 4 months. Literally can't sit on the chaise it without sinking all the way in. We purchased a Warranty through Mulberry and had to fight tooth and nail for any type of response. Zinus didn't honor the manufacturer Warranty nor did they wanna replace just the chaise. They wanted us to purchase the entire set all over again and failed to cover the Warranty. Will never buy anything from this company again nor will I ever recommend them. I'm hoping they respond so I they can see this and the nearly 90% of negative reviews. Garbage company

The worst company on the planet

Not only did my mattress end up having dangerous materials in it, fiberglass, which caused a skin condition to develop but when I reached out after receiving it they ignored me until the return window had closed.

The mattress is uncomfortable starting on day one. Zinus itself has been THE worst company I have ever done business with. I have thankfully prevented several family members and friends from purchasing from them and will continue to do so because they are not just incompetent but evil.

Find another mattress brand. Do not enter the nightmare world that is owning a Zinus product.

Best customer service I ever had

I read terrible reviews online but my experience with Zinus has been extremely positive so far. I bought a new bed online but made a mistake ordering different sizes of bedframe and mattress. I called Zinus NZ and Alex Barker provided me with the best customer service I ever had. In less than 2min he solved my situation by offering a bigger and better mattress free of additional cost. The delivery was super-fast (took 2 days for the bedframe and 4 days for the mattress to arrive). Zinus kept me updated with a real-time tracking link to check on my delivery. I just got the new queen bed this week and the product was very easy to assemble, and the mattress is very comfy, but I can't evaluate the quality of the bed in the long term.

Zinus Australia

Zinus Australia. They delivered the completely wrong item. Their 1800 number was disconnected on the day of delivery. Very slow response to emails. Responses were templates, not answering my questions. It is now 6 days after their error and I still don’t have a timeframe for when my correct item will arrive. Purchased via Amazon, and they are not able to help - keep telling me to contact seller. I strongly advise not to use this company if you live in Australia. I eventually reached their call centre, and American answered who just told me to call “Australian support” and gave me the same 1800 number I’d called. Useless

Missing part, no estimate of when it will be replaced

Bought a king bed base which had the completely wrong bit for the frame so it’s not even usable. I purchased it through fantastic furniture so I contacted them to which they replied saying Zinus said the part is out of stock and they cannot give me an estimated time that they can replace it, clearly never had it and just sent whatever

Would not recommend buying anything from this brand

Update it’s been over two months still haven’t sent out the missing parts and have asked me to dispose of the bed base before they will issues a refund, so they inconvenience me then want me to try organise a way to get rid of it and then trust they will actually give me a refund that won’t take another two months.

Poor Service

I bought a mattress on the 23rd of June and still not received. No communication whatsoever on why the mattress is being delayed.

If I could give them a Zero I could but unfortunately I can't.

Their delivery time frame is 3-5 working days but it's way more than 5 days.

If it was a free delivery I wouldn't be making too much of a fuss but what is pissing me off it I paid $70 delivery fee and I get this crappie of a service😏

Don't buy a Zinus mattress !!

Terrible customer service. My queen mattress is not even a year old. It was supposed to be extra firm. After months of backaches, and seeing a chiropractor, they do not honor any warranty. Not even a partial refund. I have submitted the photos they requested, but they say they're not clear enough for them, etc, etc. BBB gives them an "F" rating. Enough said.

Overall Great Experience

Need to try cut through through some of the negativity here and say my experience with Zinus has been fantastic. This isn't a paid review.

I recently bought a bedframe from Zinus, frame itself is fantastic and easily assembled. After purchase a customer service representative got in-touch to inform me of a promotion where I would receive a side table worth £50 for free and added this to my order. Absolutely flawless customer service, they even checked in to ensure the products had reached me safely (thank you Sofia!)

I spoke to a representative from Zinus Uk/EU that was so helpful, I had problems regarding my delivery and they dealt with this immediately and made sure to keep me updated throughout. They were patient and so kind in helping me resolve the problem even though it was not the company’s fault at all. So thank you so much, you have been a really great help in such a stressful time, I recently moved houses so I’m so thankful I dealt with someone who cared enough to listen to my problem and help me. Thanks so much guys, great company!

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would, awful chat agents. I attempted to buy an item that was listed as “in stock” multiple times and would immediately have my order cancelled due to not having said item in. Was told a gimmick on how the system must not have been updated even though they update every week. Was placed on hold and ignored by said chat agents when asking about when the item would be back “in stock.” When I was able to “purchase” the item I was sent an email that stated it would take up to 7 business days (even though the website says ships in 1 business day) but don’t worry they will email me when it ships. I waited the timeframe and did not see an update and my order number would not give me any updates. I reach out to again a chat agent who tells me it’s been cancelled on their end due to not having the parts even though the website says again “in stock.” I never received a email stating this. The best part is that my credit card is still set to be charged. Absolutely awful customer service and will not be recommending this brand to anyone.

Platform Bed Useless

This company is terrible and their customer service is even worse. I purchased a platform bed and it's missing 2 of the legs and they asked for proof of purchase and pictures and refused to send the missing parts. Don't buy anything from this company go spend your money elsewhere.

Don't purchase anything Zinus

After purchasing a bed from Zinus, we identified an issue with the middle beam that was constructed 1 cm too short. Zinus made the complaint process very difficult. First, Zinus asked for photos - we supplied the evidence. Then , they asked for videos - we supplied video evidence. Zinus offered to send another bed - but we declined, as we no longer had any faith in their quality or customer service. We requested for our money back. Zinus requested for evidence of us DONATING their faulty bed (!) This is the worst customer support we have encountered in our history of purchasing furniture. Avoid at all costs.
