Their support is a sad joke. I told them that I'm about to post my review on Trustpilot. I'd imagine this potential negative review to be a priority for them, but since their last semi-automatic email (one of many which sound like being written by chatGPT) - saying "We are committed to resolving this issue and will update you promptly." - I've never heard from them, and that was 2-3 days ago.
As usual with zipWP, the support is almost not existing, and most certeinly not helpful.

It's very sad, to see a product with such great potential ruined by poor management and poor support. It seems to me that they have already lost the competitive edge they had before, as more and more AI solutions emerge in this field.

All good and nice... until you need the support or you ran into some sort of glitch... only then do you find out how low priority the customers are for them. Based on a direct experience + what I hear from others.

Great experience! The AI assistance helped me save money by allowing me to create a polished and professional-looking website all by myself. I highly recommend trying it!

ZipWP is not only offering a great digital product into the WordPress ecosystem, it also has a great customer support!
This product is so great, that I wish I could keep it as a secret tool for my WP projects, but thats not possible, because ZipWP absolutely Rocks!! and brings affordable custom Wordpress theme design and developent almost for free to anyone!
Although I am a Web Developer and able to build my own theme, and I'd done so in the past, I'm blown away with ZipWP. Even though I've build many custom WP themes since 2010 for various clients and projects, and I know how much time consuming such an endeavour is..., ZipWP comes and takes almost all of that hassle and time loss away!
With ZipWP, I'm able to create multiple custom-made themes and almost complete and ready websites within minutes, yes, minutes, and jump start any new WP project from zero to an 80-90% ready to go Live website!
Its simply amazing, I love it, and I'm looking forward to all their upcoming new features!

I am very happy wih ZipWP interesting enough I havent got a package with them yet. I have tried their A.I website builder and I recommend them. Their support is really what convince me. ( I had initial issue with understing their website builer) Their staff was able to resolved an issue that was not supported by ZipWP. Im grateful!

Gagana, a customer service rep for ZipWP answered my initial support ticket question and answered another question I was going to ask in a follow up email before I got to even ask it.

Login OK now but....
Great for English sites, but nothing worth for other languages. Stuck on images and other functions. They refer to "third parties". How simple would it be to translate in backoffice to English and pass this info to your third parties? As of 2024, approximately 5% of the global population speaks English as their native language.

I NEVER signed up to your newsletter. I UNSUBSCRIBED to your newsletters. I COMPLETELY DELETED my account. But you still keep sending me newsletters!!?

Clearly a contravention of the GDPR privacy laws.

Not a company I would trust with a barge pole.

Update: lots of new templates have been added and the log in problems resolved so 5 stars now 🙂
Update: downgrading to 1 star. The most basic function of being able to log in without hassle is missing. Support know and don't seem to care as they haven't fixed it.
I'd love to give ZipWP a higher rating but it's plagued with problems.
I have problems logging in 9 times out of 10.
I'm a paying customer but I've had "server is busy" messages so couldn't access anything.
Another site got an error as soon as it was created.
Building a site now and chose the "restaurant" option and the button is greyed out after selecting images so I can't continue.
The price I paid was the Alpha price. It's now out of Alpha it seems (as the Alpha symbol has gone) but the price is the same. Although it often feels like it's in Alpha.
When it works it's great. But I've only recently started building sites that will be live. Building every single one of those sites I have had an issue.
EDIT update to say that the button is now working after the 3rd attempt at creating a site.
I really want to give Zip 5 stars. Maybe one day when everything is sorted out....

I have tried many AI tools for generating websites. Zip is BY FAR the best tool out there. I wrote a single line of text – it was optimized by AI, then found a template that I liked and clicked on 3 images. One minute later I had a 90% ready to launch template for my website that I could migrate into WordPress, and in 30 minutes it was up and running. Which rhymes with stunning.
