I had a query and contacted Zoe via email. I received very prompt and super efficient assistance from Sam. Also, very professional.

The app itself is quite good, with some nice food tracking features and guidance but at the end of the day it should be good because it isn't cheap and there are free alternatives. My issues really begin with the gut health test and I'm somewhat sceptical of the output. Firstly it took three weeks to get my results, which is not what I'd expect for a hundred pound test. Secondly it gave me a very low "gut health score" and then proceeded to recommend I eat a range of foods that I already eat on a regular basis. So not much practical help for me but of course the first thing they want to do at this point is sell a very expensive food supplement and more tests. This raises red flags for me. Maybe my gut health is poor but at the end of the day I want a bit more for my £250 than a list of foods the app already should know I eat and more bills to "improve my score." Honestly to me it seems like the whole gut health test and score is a funnel to sell more things while they get their research participants to pay for the privilege of giving their data. My advice, stick with just the app.

Follow joining Zoe, I needed to make contact with a query about the sample test. Although it was initially followed up by an AI response (I think) I requested further help and was then designated a person (Daisy) for further information. She was very informative and efficient in her approach and I was more than satisfied with the result.

The response I had to a query from Fin at Zoe’s support team was efficient, very quick and more than I had expected.
I felt that Fin cared which is especially important when you are querying something which can affect your wellness and health. The team didn’t use technology as an excuse not to solve an issue but circumvented it by taking a human and practical approach. This is not always the case these days.

I have tried the zoe daily 30+ and unfortunately won't be getting it again. For me it is too overpowered with rosemary and thyme which i find very unpleasant

I had the initial buzz of getting my gut health tested
After a while I tried to log in and it couldn’t find me so I assumed my time was up.
I had started to notice £50 coming out of my Amex but was busy I forgot.
By the time I realised I had almost paid for an additional years.
I contacted customer service and said this. Basic response was you should have cancelled sooner.
Ok but you never once emailed me to say welcome to a new year. We will be drawing £50/month so felt slightly cheated.
I asked for it to be cancelled and took the hit.
Only to get the £9.99 taken again
I contacted then again flatly explaining I wanted to cancel. Cancel what was the response you have two items.
Cancel everything but still they take money. Hence I am here. Daylight robbery dressed up. Stop taking my money I haven’t been logged in for over 18 months.

I tried hard to find an answer to my question on the Zoe app, without success. So I turned to the Support Team and sent an email. To my surprise my question was dealt with by Fin, the AI. Being of the older generation, I have an inbuilt mistrust of all artificial intelligence. But not any more. My question was dealt with swiftly and accurately and was followed up by a member of their support team. My question was answered promptly and accurately and I was completely happy.

Initial response was awful - asking what product. I don't know what the possibilities are. Now closed the enquiry even though I've got nowhere with loading the new app. I won't be renewing that's for sure

Zoe is a great organisation that is scientifically based and helps, guides and encourages people to eat in a beneficial way to improve their quality of life. It is not a diet, but a way of living. The guidance is personalised and using the app to log meals gives an insight as to how improvements can be made and suggestions for meals.
