Constantly claim sent have experienced this in the past so far have requested free file 4 times by phone twice online. When you ask to speak to a supervisor don't be fooled into giving a phone number and expecting the call to be returned. THIS IS A CON. Only way is to wait which not what they want. I will be reporting to OAIC and demanding compensation for false reporting, emotional distress and public embarrassment. I seek legal advice as to whether their actions constitute defamation. I have an Excellent Credit score which Equifax admit would not be possible with a default but yet they still will not correct the misinformation they have supplied. Finally have advised in writing NO DEFAULT but no apology or explanation as to how or why the Finance Co was provided with false and defamatory information. Don't expect a response without legal action typical American bully boy tactics. The longer it goes on the more the compensation expected will increase and the more public damage done.
