Terrible insurance company for animals
Terrible insurance company for animals. They make it as difficult as possible to reimburse you and don’t reimburse you for certain illnesses like leptospirosis which is common for dogs. They are very rude and after paying for this insurance, my dog died from leptospirosis and they didn’t reimburse one cent of the medical bills not even the first visit to the vet. No compassion. A company purely after your money. Be very careful - they do everything to make it as difficult as possible to reimburse you.

We are very sorry to hear of your dog's death.
With Assur O'Poil, vaccination, sterilization and medical expenses following an accident are covered immediately on the effective date of the policy. However, as stated in article 2 of our general terms and conditions (sent to you when you join and available on our website in the “useful documents” section), our cover applies exclusively to illnesses whose first symptoms appear after a waiting period of 45 days from the effective date of the policy.
This means that healthcare expenses related to an illness that occurred prior to your enrolment or during this waiting period are not covered by our benefits. Unfortunately, the reimbursements you have requested correspond to treatment for a pathology that was declared during the waiting period.
A manager will nevertheless contact you shortly in order to find a favorable solution.
